He's always been her hero. But can he save her now?
Flint Ford has a lot on his mind with college and graduate school applications. But, when he arrives home on a school break to find his neighbor Willow cowering in her apartment, she becomes his only focus. Someone has taken an unwanted interest in her, and it’s up to him to keep her safe. But how does he do that on his own with a power that’s barely controlled?
Willow Martin has been in love with Flint since he moved in down the hall in fourth grade. She hates that the only reason Flint is now attached to her hip is because an admirer refuses to accept her rejection. It doesn't help that her attraction to him continues to grow with every minute.
When things become dangerous, will Flint be able to control his power enough to make a difference? And can they both find a future that has them sailing into the sunset?
Avery Samson grew up on a ranch outside of a small west Texas town. Since she could remember, she’s had her face stuck in a book. High School graduation found her leaving ranch life for the big city.
After living all over the state of Texas, she now finds herself back on one of the family ranches near Dallas with her husband surrounded by cattle. A lot of them. They’re everywhere! When not traveling or reading, she spends her time writing.
Avery would love for you to follow her. She’s everywhere (just like those damn cows.)
A light, enjoyable read with coming-of-age, family, first love, telekinetic powers, and a seriously creepy stalker. I appreciated the female power dynamic throughout this book; even with multiple POVs, the men took a backseat on this one, which is difficult to find. A few plot holes and scene inconsistencies made reading more difficult, but a solid story nonetheless.

Suspense, obsession, young love, unknown siblings with super powers This is the fourth book in the “Inhuman Protectors” romance series of inter-connected but standalone stories. However, it is the first in this series that I have read so it was a pleasure to find out that I could understand everything that was happening. The backstory is revealed mostly immediately with no feeling of being lost because I hadn’t read previous books. It appears that Flint’s father was prolific, in the “fathering” department. Flint has multiple step-brothers and a step-sister. Who knew?! When he and his BFF Willow need help, Flint remembers what his father said, find Knox Monroe. Knox is his much older step-brother who has some of the best dialogue in this book. It’s funny, clever and playful. Each of the siblings share two gifts: exceptional green eyes and an ability that will set them apart. In Knox’s case it is handling and controlling fire. Flint discovers his is the ability to make water do what he wants it to do after many mistaken mishaps. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. There is a character named Dr. Charlie Walters. Because I was not expecting a female nemesis obsessed with Willow, I kept thinking the author was using the wrong pronoun. Silly me! That little plot device was different and well-used. When Dr. Walters begins to unravel, this book becomes a page-turner. If you like young love intertwined in a very suspenseful plot, you will want to read “Justifiable.” At the end of the book, we are made privy to the fact that Knox and Memphis find another sibling! No doubt, the next book. I volunteered to review an ARC of this one through BookSirens.
Flint Ford is unique but hes not the only one he has several half brother's and a sister there father definitely loved the ladies but that's not all he got looks the famous green eyes and a very unique gift all his siblings got something he can manipulate water not very well but by the end of the book he makes it work for him he's also got his bestfriend Willow one hes started to see as more then a friend but he doesn't know how to move forward keep the friendship or get the girl. Willow has crushed on her bestfriend for along time but she doesn't think he sees her in a romantic way he's in college and she has a stalker and just as things escalate Flint shows up but it's too much for them to handle alone they need his family and they both need to speak up about how they feel before one creepy stalker gets there way.
This was and interesting first time read for me by the author it can be read as a standalone but I wish I new more about the other books and the siblings liked the plot twist of a female bad guy. I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book via HiddenGems and this is my honest review.
"Justifiable" is a new adult novel that follows the story of college students Willow and Flint, who have been in love with each other since middle school. The story begins when they seek help from Flint's half-brother, Knox, to protect Willow from a stalker who becomes increasingly aggressive. While the book has a lot of characters and superpowers, the character development and plot could have been better. However, the stalker character is well-developed, and the dialogue is dynamic and funny. Despite some flaws, "Justifiable" is an easy-to-read, fast-paced novel with a significant romantic component that mixes obsession, adventures, family, friendship, and humor with a commanding narrative voice.
Romance, action, great sibling banter, and a pinch on paranormal.
I loved Willow and Flints story. They were so cute and sweet. I love that Flint was protective but not an asshole. The story was great. At first I wasn't sure if knowing who the stalker was early was going to slow things down but it really didn't. I love Flint's brothers and the relationship between them so I'm definitely going to go back and ready their stories.
It was a tad slow at points but overall I loved the characters, and it had everything I love in a romantic suspense. The paranormal was not super heavy but I liked that about it.

I enjoyed this book; the romance is easy bc the mains have been besties since they were kids. There are multiple povs including a character from an earlier book who plays a significant role in the story. However, it’s easy to read as a standalone. At around 80%, the plot turned a bit cliche which was disappointing. I was like “omg Flint! You’re smarter than that!!” There is a bit of steam and the relationship is sweet.
*spoiler alert*
How was Flint or Willow neither one capable of fighting back? Like before the boat? Idk why he got in the trunk so easily when all the at was being held against him was a knife by a not physically strong person (at least I don’t recall this person being described as strong, just crazy).
I received an arc for my review.

I received the book in a Goodreads giveaway. When I opened the book and found about the "super powers" I didn't think it was something I would like. There isn't a lot of "powers" used. The author pulled me in with delightful characters and a great writing style. I am going to read the rest of the books
The story revolves around Willow and Flint. Flint's Dad left when he was nine. A letter was left telling Flint if he got into trouble contact your older sister brother, Knox. Willow and Flint have been friends since middle school. The two are now in college. Willow has a stalker. Flint feels like this needs to be stopped. So they set off to find Knox. They find 2 more siblings. Everyone help Willow to stop the stalker. Ugh
This is the fourth book in this series, and this is Flint and Willow’s story. Willow is Flint’s neighbor, and when she becomes the target of a stalker, he knows he needs help to protect her. Flint has multiple stepbrothers and a stepsister, and his father always advised that when help is needed call Knox, his much older stepbrother. Each sibling has been blessed with a different gift. This is a good story which has danger, suspense, intrigue, witty banter, humor, emotions, obsession, family, friendships, adventure, and action packed, which leads to a thrilling page tuner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Holy cow! I've read all four books within the last three weeks, and each book is better than the previous one. Willow has a stalker, and things are escalating. Flint sets out to find the brother he's never met - Knox - which leads him to Tyler, Memphis, and the rest of the extended family. The best thing about this family is that they accept and help their new siblings, no questions. Flint's power is that he can move water, but he's not able to control it, until he starts working with Knox. Knox is still my favorite character, but this book is totally worth the time I spent reading. I received an advance copy of the book, and this is my honest review.
There are so many reasons to get into Avery Samson's 'Inhuman Protector' series. It's tightly written, the characters are relatable and the suspense is real.
In this latest installment, we meet Flint who has the ability to control water. He meets his new brothers and sisters as he's trying to protect Willow from a violent stalker. For her part, Willow has grown up with Flint as her best friend and has always known he was different but now she's seeing him in a whole new light. With help from Knox and some laugh-out-loud coming-of-age moments, this is a great read.

Flint is the newly found brother of Knox, Memphis, and Tyler. He is in college and finds Knox from a letter from his father. Flint’s friend, Willow, is being stalked and Flint goes to Knox for help. I love the way the siblings stick together, although it takes Flint a while to realize that Knox is all bark and frowns and no bite. This story is about a stalker and how fast it escalates out of control. I love the budding relationship between Flint and Knox. This is a tale of firsts. Very enjoyable.
Flint knew he had to come home to protect Willow from a stalker. He also knew he couldn't do it on his own. There is a man in Chicago whom he has never met, but they have one thing in common.
I'm not spoiling it for you! Flint is the youngest of the superheroes. This is a fast-paced romantic suspense full of action and peril in the beautiful state of Michigan. And it has one of the sweetest HEAs in the series. You won't want to miss the adventures of these two young lovers.
This can be read as a stand alone, but the backstories of the siblings make reading this book better. My biggest problem with this is the new characters of Flint and Willow doing exactly what they were told NOT to do. I understand it’s a plot device but it’s not one of my favorite ways of moving a story along. That said, I did enjoy the story and the tease for the next book.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author and Book Sirens and was under no obligation to leave a favorable review. All opinions are my own.
This story was fun, fast paced and entertaining!! Flint and Willow are so cute together. I absolutely loved their relationship. I loved the dynamics between Flint and all of his half siblings. The witty banter was fantastic. This story is packed full of drama, danger, a crazy stalker, suspense, and humor. I really enjoyed this one and after the epilogue I can't wait to learn more about the next two long lost siblings.
Flint and Willow have been friends for a while but when she is in trouble, he rushes to help her, but he must find Knox to do so. Stalking, danger and revelations intertwine into a well written and satisfying story. This was truly an interesting read with surprises and great characters.

This is Book 4 of a series concerning a bunch of half siblings from a man who keeps hopping from one woman to the next. This book is about Flint, the youngest one of the kids. He has a girlfriend named Willow who is being stalked. All the siblings have some type of power and Flints is awesome. I highly recommend this book to all suspense romance readers.

This was a very enjoyable read. Willow and Flint's story really tugged at my heartstrings and hit me with some mega feels. A smart and engaging blend of drama, emotion, suspense, danger, and heart fuels this moving romance that is well worth reading and another solid entry for this series. This is my frank, freely posted review.
Suspense, drama and romance are all included in A. Sampson’s fourth book in the Inhuman Protector series. This is Flint and Willow’s story and Flint does his best to protect Willow from a stalker. Flint is just coming into his powers and needs help from his family to help Willow. I enjoyed every minute of this intriguing story.
This book is the fourth in the series. First love with obsession? Total win! I recommend this book. I personally have not read the other ones, so in my opinion they can be read as a stand alone. I was not confused at any time in this book. I recommend if you like stalker romance! Also would would consider this a suspense.
This is a very good mystery/suspense romance with a touch of paranormal. The MCs were defined and engaging. Unknown family members were found, secrets revealed, and new characters were introduced at the end, hinting at more books.

This was a decent read. For the most part it works as a standalone. Im sure it would be a little more confusing the more siblings that are added. So it’s probably best if read in order.
Side note: I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review
Ohmigod…I downloaded my copy of this book this morning and could NOT put it down! I read it cover to cover with no stopping. Believe me, it’s that GOOD!! The storyline is incredible; the characters amazing; the plot twists and turns just keep your head spinning; and the HEA—totally breathtaking! You really need to grab a copy of this book and read it without delay. It’s brilliant! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and was totally impressed by it. It’s a fantastic read!) ❤️❤️❤️
This is the 4th book in the Inhuman Protectors series, but can be read as a standalone. The story line is interesting and held my interest. So many intriguing twists and turns! I enjoyed it.
