This is New Age perceptions of past lives and regressions using chakra concentrations to communicate between two souls who have had previous close combinations of experiences before/again in many different physical lives. It's for those who believe in these definitions of soul entity and reincarnation to Karma and Dharma. Of which I am not a believer, so I have to say that straight up. Most of this to me was exactly like pyscho-babble theories and with far, far less proof. Some was so self-serving and one star that I really did laugh out loud. Not the least aspect being, that the author and wife seem to be in every deluxe island resort or posh hotel location on each continent to "help" these people who they read and assist to self-analysis.
I would have given it one star, except for the few lengthy explanations of how best to face unfairness, adversity, negative affect or other tragedies of human existence (like being chronically sick, disabled, huge grief from death of most loved ones, or just always feeling unconnected during your life). Those sections of answers were just basically cognitive behavioral changes you could make in becoming non-reactive to anger from the hurt. They are not much connected with any New Age overreach approach, at all.
Refusing to "take it personally" and identifying as a victim or with self-pity from the get-go, being #1. Never holding that cognition of "it's not fair" at any core thought. Furthermore with time, how to achieve constructive bridges through some of human's most common suffering experiences to achieve a far more possible peacefully cored strength or joyful progression to ultimate purposes. Separating the negative self-injury and reactive anger to components that pass through us to their ultimate purposes or plan (God, Karma, eternity repayments etc.)
It is correct and accurate that the most happy and fulfilled humans believe they are both (happy and whole self-defined), first and foremost. They filter the bad stuff right through, as if they were a glass window and all the pains of life, the light. Their "knowing" this correlates far more than the luck or terrible fates of what real individual experiences have happened to them. Dying people, horribly abused, terribly rejected, repeatedly impoverished- they all may be far happier than the most favored by fate who do NOT "know" these things and react to negative circumstances by holding personal reaction. That's merely a cognitive behavioral consequence and not as tied in to this whole cloth philosophy of 600,000 repeated incarnations as the book makes it out to be.
Some of the seekers of their karmic pasts put me into silly giggles. Truly. He & she of the clairvoyance seem to focus on the B or C class celeb or celeb connected person, not the school clerk or the crossing guard lady. It sure gives their workplace views a much better setting!
They should be able to make highest end travelogues on the side.
