I had everything I had ever wanted… And it meant nothing. Because the love of my life had lost everything. My career was exactly where I’d wanted it—I was on a great team, getting lots of playing time, and I’d finally won the ultimate prize. But Bailey was hurting, and I couldn’t live knowing that. I loved her more than my life, my job, my dreams. She was my dream now. And I would do anything to save her so that she could live out hers.
So Pucking Over It is the final book in Axel and Bailey’s story!
USA Today bestselling author, Elise Faber, loves chocolate, Star Wars, and hockey (the order depending on the day and how well her team—the Sharks!—are playing). She and her husband also play as much hockey as they can squeeze into their schedules, so much so that their typical date night is spent on the ice. Elise changes her hair color more often than some people change their socks, loves sparkly things, and is the mom to two exuberant boys. She lives in Northern California. 5 Star review of So Pucking Over It (Rush Hockey Trilogy #3) by Elise Faber Firstly if you have not read the first two books in the trilogy then STOP. These need to be read in order, so you have been warned as So Pucking Over It picks up where the previous book ended.
I am been waiting not so patiently for the conclusion to Bailey and Axel’s story and it was everything I was hoping for and more. From the first chapter I was hooked on this roller coaster of a story and read this one in almost one go.
Bailey and Axel finally get their happily ever after and I for one wasn’t convinced that it would happen. Their journey was rocky, with a number of up and downs, good and bad but one thing shines throughout the story and that is the underlying love they have for one another. The conclusion to their love story was fitting, emotional and made for an entertaining read.
This is a little bit difference for Elise Faber. She dives into the world of trilogy writing with this Rush Hockey series. We get 3 books… Big Puck Energy, Filthy Puck Boy, and So Pucking Over It featuring Axel and Bailey. These two don’t have the best meeting, but move past their animosity and issues in an organic and natural way. Axel is in the minor leagues of hockey, and the Rush are local to Bailey’s home town. These players have been creating havoc on the town, and Axel has been on of the ring leaders. This series shows the growth of Axel as a person and a player. Bailey herself is a strong and independent woman who knows her worth… has grown past the traumas of her past.
I only gave this series 3.5 stars because I felt as though there was almost too much worked into this series. As you read it, the issues work and make sense, but at the same time there are a couple storylines that I feel could have been left out. There is a lot packed in, but I don’t want to give anything away because it will take away from the story as a whole.
This is a good read, and mixes the suspense elements as some of Elise’s other series as well as her Gold hockey series. Elise Faber always creates depth filled characters that are flawed, but its what they learn from those flaws that make these characters so compelling.

So Pucking Over It, book three in the Rush Hockey Trilogy picks up right where book one left off with Bailey fighting to get out of the fire heading for her ranch and Alex not knowing if she is even alive. This last story in this trilogy is filled with so much emotion, obstacles for Axel and Bailey, yet it also encompasses all the goodness, support and love that comes from living in a small town and finding those special people in your life who care and are there for you no matter what. Bailey and Axel will do whatever it takes to be together whether is making it through a fire that devastates their town, a crazy stalker that wants Axel for herself, and a kidnapping of Bailey and Veronica. They have dealt with these challenges in stride and welcomed a surprise child and his mother into their lives without hesitation. They may have struggled getting their relationship off the ground but now they have both found that forever love in each other and nothing will keep them from that love.
"The final book in this trilogy really hits the ground running and keeps on rolling on right until the very end. With this being the final book, questions have been answered but surprisingly there were still some new developments for Axel & Bailey. One in particular I thought would throw a huge spanner in the works, but it was like this pair were so used to the bombshells that they just worked on through it all. This part I am referring to was both strange & heartwarming at the same time. With all that was going on in this final installment it was so wonderful to read how strong a couple Bailey & Axel are. They stayed the course with each other with everything going on, in fact I think it made them love each other more. Yet another reason to enjoy the romance world with great books like these three. I was happy to read at the end of this book there will be more Rush Hockey to be read, and I look forward to getting my hands on all the books!! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book"
The conclusion to this epic love story is here - Bailey and Axel are in for a fight to keep themselves alive and well.
To understand this book, you need to have read book 1 and 2; this one start right where we were left off and that's with Bailey fighting for her life, while Axel is doing all he can to find her. When dust settles and when we expect life to give them a break, the hardship is not over. Past comes back, showing her ugly head and threatens everything Axel was trying to run from. But with Bailey's love and the support of this new team, he manages to break throw all the dark clouds, finally giving him a chance to live his life like he should have always lived - being free and loved!
If you follow my reviews than you know how much I don't like cliffhangers, but this trilogy was worth all the nail biting I was doing while waiting each part of it. Go and grab it - you'll find it quite enjoyable.
The conclusion of Axel and Bailey’s story continues, and it doesn’t disappoint. After the events that unfolded in the previous book Bailey finds herself in a dire situation and Axel is not about to give up hope that they will find their way back to each other.
Now that they are reunited despite their love their happy ever after is not yet within their reach as they have a few more challenges to overcome which shows how strong they and their relationship is.
Axel and Bailey take us on a journey filled with emotion, turmoil and intrigue as they prove that what they share is worth fighting for.
I really enjoyed this series. Yes, the drama was very OTT and the authors one sentence paragraphs were very overdone, but I still enjoyed this very sweet story.
Axel is determined to find Bailey amidst the chaos of a raging fire and his determination turns to desperation at the devastation the fire is causing. When she's finally found, how will she be? Will the trauma of the fire cause new terrors that Bailey can't escape from or will she be able to use her bond with Axel to pull through? When she's back on her feet, how will they be able to move forward? When Axel is contacted by his mother, how will this new blow play out? Gah! This final book for Bailey and Axel was a pure roller coaster of emotions and the boys just kept on coming. I loved the devotion the characters have and their growth together. The way they interact and their chemistry made this an addictive read!
Elise Faber’s writing is like reading a steamier Nora Roberts. The titles of her books and the covers are a friggin’ tragedy because this series wasn’t trashy romance. It was sweet and healthy and very human. Steamy! But human.
I first need to say please do not pick up So Pucking Over You without reading the first two books as this trilogy needs to be read in order. I have been desperate for the conclusion to Axel and Bailey’s story and this book did not disappoint, it was everything I expected and so much more. Im not going to write a review full of spoilers because I believe this trilogy needs to be read with no preconceived ideas you need to pick it up without knowing the start or the ending so all I’m going to tell you is how this read made me feel. Ms Faber has shown us how talented and hoe diverse how writing can be with this captivating, sit on the edge of your seat journey. From the moment I met Axel and Bailey I was drawn in but never in a million years did I expect to be taken on the roller coaster of a lifetime, I was captivated and I fell hard and fast for this couple and as I joined their journey I found myself cheering g them on through the good, the bad and the sometimes damn right ugly moments that life throws in their way. So Pucking Over It picks up right where book 2 finished so it’s emotional and heartbreaking right from the start but as you know if you have read the previous books life isn’t all it seems for this pair and life is never going to give them a pass because fate knows they are strong enough to face what it throws at them. A wonderful conclusion to a raw and ar times heartbreaking journey with wonderful characters you can’t help loving. Looking forward to where we are taken next from the very talented Elise Faber.
When we last saw Axel and Bailey they had just worked through some conflicts that had the potential to break them. However, they persevered. Then Axel learned that there was a fire taking over the town of River’s Bend. Bailey’s whereabouts are unknown and the news is discouraging. Axel has to make a lot of choices that demonstrate how important his relationship with Bailey is. As this book is the third following this couple I was expecting a bit of drama and a nice wrap up to a beautiful HEA. They get there but holy moly is there drama and then some. This couple has already endured a lot both as individuals and together. The first third of the book focuses on the fire and its aftermath which was expected. Then they just get hit with one external conflict after another. It was a bit too much. I love the growth we see these characters undergo from the first book. They really are different and better people because of their relationship with each other and the side characters. I personally did not need all high emotional and anxiety inducing situations to believe in their HEA. A couple of conflicts could have been cut down to something less. That said it was a good trilogy and sets up the world for the next book(s). I will be sure to visit River’s Bend again to see Billy Rose fall or rather bring Joel to his knees.
With this being the third book in the Rush Hockey Trilogy, So Pucking Over It had me sitting on the edge of my seat and holding my breath. The first two books saw Axel and Bailey meeting, dealing with exciting situations, a crazy family and ex, and of course falling in love. Now Ms. Faber throws in heartstopping drama that pulls on your heartstrings and a crazy stalker. While reading this book there were so many emotions that I was going through that it had my head spinning. From worried at the start of the book to happiness than heartbreak and sadness to suspense-filled drama and finally feeling all warm and fuzzy at the end. Right from the start, you are addicted to what is happening and praying that everything is okay.
Axel and Bailey have had a rough path to their happiness. Although this path was not as smooth as they would have loved it to be. There were so many hurdles that they had to overcome which only made their love stronger. No matter what life threw at them they found strength being together. Even when Axel received some life-changing news, Bailey was right by his side.
I would recommend picking up this gripping trilogy and be prepared for an emotional rollercoaster ride.
"So Pucking Over It" by Elise Faber, book #3 of the Rush Hockey Trilogy, concludes the story of professional hockey player Axel Finnegan and rancher Bailey Donovan. It is not a standalone, but rather should be read after the first two books of the series, "Big Puck Energy" and "Filthy Puckboy."
This story picks up right where the last book left off. As a devastating wildfire burns in and around the small town of River's Bend, California, Axel frantically searches for Bailey, hoping against hope that she has escaped the blaze unscathed. When he finds her, will they be able to save the family ranch that means so much to her?
As in the previous books of this series, Axel and Bailey's story went in an unexpected direction, and all I could do was go along for the ride. It was undoubtedly an emotional roller-coaster, but I loved that no matter what obstacles they faced, Axel and Bailey's faith in each other never wavered. After facing so many hardships together, they were more in love than ever, and that made this a tremendously satisfying ending to their story.
I highly recommend the entire trilogy for all contemporary romance fans and look forward to more books set in this world. Bailey's aunt Billie Rose and Axel's friend and former teammate Joel have been driving each other crazy for quite some time now, and I have a feeling their upcoming enemies-to-lovers romance is going to be a GREAT one!
*Review copy provided by the author. All opinions expressed are my own.
So much suspense, heartache, pain, and healing. My heart was beating rapidly during the first part of the story. Then it just piled on. I could not put this book down, as I had to know what happened next. I couldn't help it. I'm obsessed, and I needed answers!
So Pucking Over It was a fabulous read. Bailey and Axel FINALLY get their happily ever after. The journey to that HEA though was a rollercoaster ride. As though these two hadn't been through enough! Elise Faber just kept adding to it. This book was a bit emotional at times, and I loved every minute of it.
Loved getting to hang with the Gold team, and the way they were a part of this story. Brit and Stefan hold a special spot in my reader heart. Love those two.
Veronica was a great addition to the story, and I am hopeful that she'll get her story told with a certain Rush player.
I am also hopeful that we'll get to see more of Bailey and Axel in future Gold Hockey stories.
4.5 stars The third installment, and conclusion, to Axel and Bailey’s story was a fantastic ending. The first few chapters had me holding my breath until I found out what happened. While I wish the story would have been one book, I do understand why it was written the way it was. The maturity that Axel went through was vast and I appreciated that he did have one slip up but realized it and corrected his behavior. Bailey is one strong woman and she goes through the gamut of horrific experiences in this book. Not only did she have to escape a fire, or at least try to, but a multitude of other issues. Who set the fire and why was it set? She also knows that Axel is keeping something from her and pulling away so she needs to figure it out.
His hockey family proves that DNA does not make up a family, being there and supporting each other means more. I loved this conclusion and can’t wait to see what happens in the next installment of the hockey team. I received an ARC and this is my honest, voluntary review.

This is book three in the Rush Hockey series with Bailey and Axel must be read in order so you understand all theyve had to go threw facing so much from manipulative people interfering family phyco ex 's and stalkers not to mention learning to not live your life in the past and a need to start anew with a family not given by birth and circumstance but the one you make in life when you let go and let others in and Axel is so close to everything he ever wanted his Hockey dreams of the Gold and he never thought he would have anyone to love but Bailey is it for him there's just one final thing to get past the last of his secrets and a raging fire headed toward Bailey's beloved ranch but were is Bailey she's in the fight of her life.
I have enjoyed reading ever one of the Rush Hockey books and can't wait to see what happens to Billie Rose town mayor or town match maker after all she's responsible for her niece Bailey's rather unorthodox love connection I mean it had to be said Axel was naked lol.
I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book and this is my honest review.
This is the conclusion of the Rush Hockey Trilogy and it again picks up where the previous book left off. Axel is searching for Bailey after the tragic events that hit River's Bend and his devotion is unwavering. I feel that Axel shows an amazing growth in his maturity and his care and attention both to Bailey and those around him, becomes a wonderful thing and the knowledge that others feel the same way about him, warms not only his heart, but ours too. As with the first two books, this is a different style of writing for Ms. Faber and I can't say I'm completely sold. The staccato sentences, the repetitiveness of the sentences and key words felt like it was a bit of a filler at times, but don't let that detract from what is otherwise a great story. There is a lot of players in this book, with many subplots, so concentration is required and that flow isn't always there. Still worth reading!!

The conclusion to their love story was fitting, emotional and made for an entertaining read.
So Pucking Over It is the third book in the Rush Hockey series, and the third book in Bailey and Axel’s trilogy. You should definitely read the first three books in order. Just as things are looking solid and good for Bailey and Axel, life doesn’t stop throwing punches. Will complete destruction, health issues, and total betrayal tear this couple apart, or only make them and their love stronger?
Oh. My. Goodness! I was not prepared for the emotional rollercoaster that this book took me on. I just devoured this book, because I HAD to know what happened next to Bailey and Axel! It was a really powerful book, there were so many highs and lows, and I honestly cried a lot because I just feel so invested in this couple! Bailey and Axel were pure perfection in this book, full of love and caring and passion! I loved that they both had to realize what family truly meant, and what that would look like for the both of them, together and individually. I loved her strength and determination and I adored his protectiveness and his selfless actions. This book was just soooo good! I would give this whole series and their full connection way more than five stars if I could! Do you ever feel like some trilogies could be condensed down to one or two books? This is not that trilogy. There was so much that happened in these books, so many moments of trial and triumph and it really shows that love is the most important, that your family is who you make, and if you have a good support system, you can get through anything! I loved this book, love this series, and am already excited for what is going to come next!
So Pucking Over It, book three in the Rush Hockey Trilogy continues the story of Bailey Donovan and Axel Finnegan, these books should be read in order since this one picks up from the end of book two. After Axel learned about the fire that was raging in town, and no one knew where Bailey was, he struggled to find her. When they finally make their way back to each other just as things are beginning to settle down, another obstacle gets in their way. With Bailey by his side, and his new teammates to help him, Axel manages to put his past behind him and move forward to the beginning of something so much more with Bailey by his side. Another great trilogy by this author, and a great introduction to other new characters in River’s Bend that will be in the next book, or trilogy, of their own. I can’t wait to see what else happens in the world of Rush Hockey.
This is the third and conclusion of this amazing trilogy, and this series needs to be read in order. Axel has the career of his dreams, and a wonderful team, but it all means nothing to him when Bailey is hurting. The journey that these two are on is rocky, and I was questioning if they would ever get their HEA. This is the perfect conclusion to this epic trilogy and is everything I hoped for and so much more. This author has done an outstanding job in weaving this storyline. This is a beautifully written story which is an emotional roller coaster, with challenges, suspense, heartbreak, healing, intrigue, friendships, and love, which leads to an entertaining and compelling page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Finally we get the HEA for Axel and Bailey! But not without drama. We had quite the cliffhanger in Filthy Puckboy that made some us angsty on how this would end. I am not a real fan of duets and trilogies but this series was so well done I can’t help but give it 5 ⭐️. It only seems like a short time ago we were introduced to Axel, buck naked, handcuffed to the porch railing of Bailey’s farm. We learned that Bailey was everything Star Trek, not Star Wars, so her ending up with two horses named Han and Chewy shows how much things can change. Such a great series and how Elise wove this storyline into her Breakers series was the icing on the cake. And Bailey’s meddling Aunt is up next. Oh yea!
I loved reading So Pucking Over It: Rush Hockey Trilogy Book 3!!!! All about Bailey Donovan a rancher that loves Axel Finnegan the hockey player who stole her heart. Read about Bailey & Axel as they navigate life and have each others back thru thick & thin. Lots of emotion and some toe curling does occur. Life has many curve balls, and this series goes thru many, and after each book something major happens, leaving you hanging, ensuring that you will purchase the next to find out what happens. Each story has three books, be prepared. Trust me you are going to want to read all three!!! The author has a way of telling the story, that you will crave to keep reading!!! I loved Bailey & Axel, hopefully you will as well!!! Definite Read!!!
The last of the trilogy, thank goodness! We needed to know the ending.
Axel arrives at River Bend, or what's left of it after the fire, which is still burning, looking for Bailey. Bur the sheriff won't let him through, and says there's nothing left, the fire started at her ranch. He spends days looking for her, convinced she's still alive. Bailey has managed to save her animals but is hurt, dehydrated and burnt. Can she hang on? Axel gets her to hospital where she insists on getting an early discharge so Axel can play for the Cup. What's the score? Does he play? How are Veronica and Alex involved? Was the fire arson or an accident?
As the last story in the Axel and Bailey trilogy, we expect to have some loose ends resolved. But…this story is way more than that.
The tragedy that opens the final story is immense…the terror Axel feels is very real, especially nowadays. But the strength Bailey shows, as well as Axel, shines through. Whatever they’re facing, and they have A LOT thrown at them, they face together. Just when you think their story is going to “settle down”, another situation presents itself (being vague to avoid spoilers!).
But not all of it is hard. There are many bright moments and, in the end, a very satisfying conclusion to their story!
In order to understand storyline.it is necessary to have read 1 & 2 in series. This story starts right after the forest fire that took out most of tow and tried to take Bailey down with it. Climax starts at beginning- with Axel running around trying to find he; her horses, cows, dogs- anything that might lead him to where his woman is. After having horses trample on her, a fire chase her and the terrain under her fingernails she fights her way up the hill to find a frantic Axel. After surviving that mess, Axel dumps on her that he’s got a 5 yr old son who he never knew about. And the hits just keep on coming. Check out this has-it-all installment of a hockey series.
This is the conclusion to Axel and Bailey's story. Axel has it all, his hockey career, great teammates and of course Bailey, she is his everything. Their journey is emotional, and not one that's easy by any means. You are grabbed at the beginning and aren't totally sure what will happen. Just don't get too comfy there are some twists and turns you don't see coming that just adds to their journey.
The books should be read in order so that you understand the storyline. 4 1/2 stars
I could hardly wait until Nov. 1 to get my hands on this book. This book is the conclusion to Axel & Baileys story. Despite the crappy childhood both of them had growing up, the final book shows the perseverance it takes to see through your demons to live your best life. I fell in love with these two characters in book one. Elise Fabre has a way of developing a characters that keep you engaged, and want more! This is great series, start with Book 1, you will not be disappointed.
