Taking my sister’s best friend’s V card wasn’t part of my plan.
An accident almost cost me my life, and I was stuck at my parent’s house to recover. I miss the lights, the stage, and my Rock n Roll lifestyle. But being stuck at home has its perks. Like the girl next door.
Her curvy figure, dark hair, and witty banter drive me wild. She is all I can think about while I lay cooped up at home. Fourteen years younger, and my sister's best friend.
Beyond off-limits, but that only makes me want her more.
Okay, the situation isn’t ideal. But she’s everything I never knew I needed. I’ll do anything to win her heart. But that might tear our families apart…
Claimed By My Best Friend's Brother is an age gap, off-limits love story, with an alpha male, sassy heroine. No cheating, no cliffhangers, HEA guaranteed! It is a complete standalone and the third book in the series.
As you well know, I never say no to a well written rockstar romance. I know, they all sound the same, but in my mind they all have a difference and do merit being read and admired. This book was no different and it was so good overall that I could not stop reading it today.
This is a very cutesy romance. This is my first book read by Callie Stevens and I think she did a phenomenal job in the storyline. Jenna meets drummer boy, Chase, her best friend’s brother, who has been injured after a car accident and who happens to be next door neighbors no less.
Sparks immediately fly when they see each other and it is your typical boy meets girls falls in love with the rockstar dreamy drummer boy. I loved that it was a quick read with a HEA!!
Jenna has a crush on her best friend's brother. He's home for a short time, recuperating from an injury. She spends a lot of time with him-- taking care of him, talking with him, being there for him. Her crush is mutual because he develops feelings for her too.
There's a 13 year age difference between them which I LOVED! I just thought this book was very... tame. Low on angst and drama, low on sexual chemistry, and low on romance.
safety: virgin heroine age gap no OM/OW no cheating/sharing HEA with epilogue ♡

A solid three star read. This book was very middle of the road. I struggled to get into it in the beginning, but it eventually hit its stride. There were moments where I wished it was cut down more. Then the book takes a sharp 180 and suddenly we're going at 100 mph. It becomes super rushed, almost like Jenna and Chase are recapping what happens in their lives once they fall in lone. Which would be fine, if it was an epilogue, not the last 25% of the book. It felt like I was reading an essay where the conclusion paragraph goes on for way too long. You've been wrapping it up for three chapters now, when is it going to end? Ironically, those were the parts of the story I want more of. This is one of the romance books where the characters falling in love is the ending, because the plot wasn't developed enough to go deeper than that. This may sound harsh, but I did actually enjoy the book despite the criticisms I have. Maybe a finer tooth comb in the edit would be nice, but overall, not too bad.

Chase is by far my favorite of the guys. How he handles himself after the accident and how he acts around Jenna is so freaking cute. He may be older, but he gets so nervous about anything when it comes to her. Its so sweet. Jenna is snappy and can give him a run for his money. Absolutely loved this one!!
Chase MacAllister is spending two months at his parents’ house as he recuperates from a serious car accident where his leg was badly broken. When his sister, Rachel, asks her next-door neighbor best friend, Jenna O'Donnell, to drop in and keep him company since she doesn’t have a job over the summer, Chase isn’t very comfortable with the situation. Actually both Chase and Jenna are aware of their strong attraction to each other. As their friendship was established while she became his companion, stronger feelings continued to develop between them.
When they could no longer hold their feelings back, they became secret lovers. But when Rachel walks in on them right after they had “done the deed”, Chase not wearing clothes, it all blows up on them. With Rachel screaming at them, making it all about her, Jenna avoids Chase and can’t even look at him, now claiming they were selfish and knew they shouldn’t be doing what they were doing. Will Chase take steps to let Jenna and everyone else how he truly feels about her? Will she come back to him? Will Rachel get over what is none of her business anyway? And if they do reconcile, what happens when Chase goes back with the band and has to leave?
Chase is home visiting family just before he takes a break from his bands tour, but he ends up in an accident where he is lucky to only end up with a broken leg. This means his planned summer is now out the window and he ends up staying with his parents and younger siblings until he is better. Jenna lives next door to Chase's family and is his sisters best friend. She ends up spending time with Chase to keep him company while he is stuck at home. Jenna and Chase are attracted to each other, they try to ignore it as there is a big age difference and they do not want to upset Chase's sister. But soon their attraction is too hard to deny and they end up in a secret relationship. However, its not long before their relationship develops into more and they decide they want to be together in the open. But what happens when everyone finds out, will they support their decision or feel betrayed by their secret and what happens after the summer when they go back to their normal lives. Will they be able to maintain a long distance relationship.
This is an age gap, best friends brother romance story. I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it.

Callie Stevens Soul Sounds Brothers is a wonderful series. Each band member finds their special someone when they least expect it. Claimed by My Best Friend’s Brother has the drummer of Soul Sounds finding his love while recovering at home.

This book was very cute. The way the main characters came to spend time together was pretty unrealistic… considering Chase was a grown man and didn’t need someone to babysit him. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the development of his relationship with Jenna. Jenna had a caring personality, and it was sweet to see her take care of Chase. I didn’t feel a tremendous amount of chemistry between them though.
The pace of the book was fine until the end. The final part of the story had massive time jumps and everything seemed rushed. As soon as the resolution to the conflict occurred, the book started going at lightning speed. However, I did enjoy the conclusion of the novel, and Chase did a great grovel/big gesture. I also liked that Jenna and Chase prioritized their relationship while still pursuing their dreams.
Overall, this was a cute book, but it wasn’t overly memorable or special. I would recommend it to those who really enjoy age-gap or best-friend’s-brother stories.
*I received an ARC of this novel. This is my complete and honest review.*
This is the 3rd story in the Soul Sounds Brothers series and in this story Chase is ready to enjoy his summer after their tour. While out one night another car hits him and ends up back at his parents place to recover from his injuries to ensure he heals properly. Chase has younger twin siblings and his sisters best friend, Jenna lives next door offers to help Chase during the day. Chase has an attraction towards Jenna and as they spend time together they become friends and secret lovers. Chase knows with 13 years between them their relationship may have some ups and downs by others but he knows what his heart wants and goes after it. When his sister finds out things get turned upside down and Chase finds that Jenna will not speak to him. When Chase explains the way his heart feels for Jenna to everyone they get behind him and they all help with his plan to have Jenna in his arms and life. This story has one beautiful ending that shows us age is just a number!! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Chase was just getting ready to start his two months of rest from his busy life. He’s a drummer for a famous band so finishing a tour he was looking forward to some alone time. Fate had other plans for him, now he’s staying at his parents home with a badly broken leg. The one upside is Jenna. She’s a college student, his parents neighbor and his younger sister’s best friend. Big red flags waving but he can’t seem to help the way this girl makes him feel. She has nothing to do because she didn’t get a summer job, so she stops by every day and gets him lunch. She’s also tried to engage him in hobbies so he’s not bored. The problem is he’s thirteen years her senior, there’s a perv factor I’m having a hard time with. Their chemistry is hot and when they get together it’s pure fire. The ending is sweet, sexy and I loved it. I’m giving this book five stars and recommend it.
Can a rockstar really find true love with his sister's best friend? Chase is down for the count for two months due to a car accident. He has to rely on his parents and siblings to help him get better, which is making him crazy to not be his independent self. But then Jenna is asked by his sister to check in on him and keep him company. Somewhere along the way, they both realize that they have strong feelings towards each other and let nature take its course. But the keep it a secret from both of their families and when Chase's sister catches them, there is hell to pay. Can Chase find a way to fix the divide that is now keeping them apart? If he truly wants Jenna, he has to be honest and make it right.
I loved this story, from start to finish. Well worth reading.

This super sweet story was so good. I sometimes lean away from age-gap stories as the male love interest can be to overwhelming or possessive IMO for the age of the FMC. However this story started strong and ended with a sweet HEA.
W/O giving to much of the story away, I loved that they became friends first and really tried to fight their attraction to each other. I felt this gave them a good base before jumping into the other part of their relationship. I also loved that Chase was supportive of Jenna's goals, and wants for her career. He didn't just want her to make him into her everything.
As in any good story they hit a small rough patch, but it all works out in the end. This is the first book in a long time that I have read that left me believing this story could be true. I enjoyed the believability, and it was a refreshing feeling to have upon finishing a book.
I enjoyed this book. It was sweet and I liked how it the characters came together. Chase gets hurt in a car accident and since he is going to be at his parent's house all day by himself his sister asks her best friend to keep him company. Her best friend who has been in love with him forever. It is a age-gap romance and Chase is hesitant because of this and being his little sister's best friend. As the relationship develops they decide to keep it private and both talk of an end date that neither wants to happen. Keeping things private never works out well and feelings are hurt and problems need to be solved.
I am glad that Jenna continued to follow her dreams and finish school and that Chase continued his rock start life that was a nice way to go. Cute sweet story.

This is an enjoyable story that was a pleasure to read. A famous rock star, Chase is now forced to stay at his parents' home to recover from a car accident that nearly killed him. When his sister asks her best friend Jenna to keep him company during the day, he isn't too happy about it at first until they grow closer and that they don't want to reveal to the outside world what they feel for each other, but it's hard to keep things private with all the problems and hurt feelings and sorrows involved. Will Jenna finish school and will Chase return to tour and continue his rock career? You will all get answers to these questions if you read their story and they still get a HEA together. In short, this is definitely a must read.

Ms. Stevens does it again with an amazing story about age gap love, a lovely romance with a beautiful storyline and characters that are so believable and vivid. This is a book I could not stop reading. The characters are so real and vivid, you drown in their story. Jenna is a young, but strong woman and I admire her. She felt something from the first and tried to stay away. Chase being a strong and supportive alpha figure tried to stay away too. Chase was concerned about the difference in age. But when their time spent together was found out he had enough confidence to ask permission from her parents. What will be the outcome because he knew he wanted Jenna in his forever life? Definitely a book worth getting and reading.

I loved the characters. Through most of it, it was a good story. The ending was fantastic (except the timeline issue...he was 35 when they met, they are together for a month before it all goes wrong and then right again, then we fly through until they have been together for a year...then the epilogue is 5 years later on his 40th birthday....ummm only 40 if it's 5 years from the start of the story, not from the last point we last read before the epilogue, which does seem like that's sometimes what's meant but I personally don't think that makes sense). It's a pretty delicious age gap romance between a drummer and his much younger sister's best friend.

This is the third book in the Soul Sounds Brothers, and it is a sweet age gap romance. Chase is staying with his parents for the summer to recuperate from a car accident. He hasn’t seen Jenna, his sister’s best friend, since she was a child, and he is instantly attracted to her. Jenna is secretly attracted to Chase, too. Jenna ends up helping Chase during his recuperation and they spend a lot of time together. Eventually there is a friendship, some trouble, and quite a bit of steam. It's great how all the characters come together for the MCs HEA. Recommended for those who are 18+ and enjoy steamy romances. I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for a voluntary, honest review.
Story about a rockstar that gets into an accident when he gets back to his parent's house to let his fractured leg heal his sister's best friend comes over to check on him, after a while the become friend even though both of them want more than friendship. After his leg heals and both families know how he feels about her, he asks her to be his girlfriend. He then after a while asks her to marry him and by the end they're perfectly living happily ever after. This story has a wonderful cast of characters with all the thrills of an incredibly romantically written story. This book I would recommend to everyone that loves a elegantly written romance.

Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review voluntarily. This was such a sweet, heartfelt and awesome story that I was drawn in and fell in love. Although there was an age-gap, it wasn't overly stressed or glaring. There was no unnecessary drama or angst and both characters were just likeable and perfect for each other. Loved the pacing and how their attraction and feelings develop. Couldn't stop myself from smiling at their banter and affection for each other and the epilogue was just the cherry on top!.

This is part of the Soul Sounds Brothers but can be read as a standalone. If you like age gap romances you'll enjoy this story. Despite the age difference Jenna and Chase are perfect for each other. She is feisty and he's met his match. She's his sister's best friend and next door neighbor. Since she's not working she offers to help Chase recuperate from his accident. Well one thing leads to another where chemistry is involved. A sweet romance with a little angst when their affair is exposed. But a nice HEA. An easy read that I read as a free arc via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it.
This is Chase’s story. I have been waiting to read about him and was soooo excited that this was his book! The story picks up from when Chase gets into a really bad accident and is housebound at his parents’ home for a period of time. He is re-introduced to his much younger sister’s best friend, Jenna.
The two become quick friends and then the sparks fly! They try to hide their love for one another and realize that this is more than just a fling. I love this series and love this book! As always, the steamy scenes made me get out a fan and I fell in love right along Chase and Jenna!
I enjoy the stories of rock guys who are more than just “sex, drugs and rock ‘n roll” and this one delivers. Chase is ready to find something stable, someONE to build a life with. He wasn’t looking for Jenna, but they are both struck and, despite the age difference, they can’t stay away from each other. Jenna, too, wants a stable, loving relationship which she doesn’t expect to find with a rocker, but she can’t ignore her chemistry with Chase. I loved how they were together, that they could tease but really SAW each other and they both wanted each other to realize their dreams. Sweet AND steamy!.

Claimed By My Best Friend's Brother by Callie Stevens
This is the story of Chase of the band Soul Sounds and his sister's friend Jenna. Chase is 35 years old and has twin siblings Rachel and Dan, who are 21 years old. When he sees Jenna who is also 21 he feels he's too old for her. Love can bring anyone together but there are always up and downs. This is a beautiful love story and a great read. Callie Stevens knows how to write a story that holds you to the end. This is a page-turner and a hard-to-put-down book. I truly enjoyed reading Chace and Jenna's story. I received an advance review copy for free and am leaving this review voluntarily.
I enjoyed Jenna and Chase’s age gap romance. It was fun, flirty and sexy. The storyline with Chase’s injury and Jenna’s unique “nursing” tendencies really added an unusual flare to their circumstances. These characters were in depth with interesting traits even though Jenna is quite young. Still, there are some flaws in the flow of this book. Toward the end of the book things became too fervent and the pace increased so much it felt like I was already reading an abbreviated epilogue. So that kind of ruined the ending for me. I really wanted to read all the details that were so rapidly passed over between them. That is the reason for only 3 stars.
I loved this story. It was well written, realistic, full of laughs, seriousness, vulnerability and love. You will fall in love with Chase and Jenna.
I loved that both Jenna and Chase tried to fight their feelings for each other for unselfish reasons. I love that Jenna didn’t fan-girl Chase the moment she really met him. I love that Chase staid humble and accepted her help when it was needed. I loved that both Chase and Jenna both didn’t expect the other to give up their dreams to make the relationship work and supported each other.
Although this book is part of a series, it can be read as a stand alone. I can’t wait to read more of Callie’s books.
Chase gets hurt in a car accident and ends up spending the time at his parents' place. His sister asks her friend if she would mind keeping him company so he wouldn't be alone, and she agrees. Chase is attracted to Jenna and tries to fight it but the more time they spend together the closer they get. Soon they are secretly seeing each other. Can this turn into something more between them? What will his sister do when she learns about them?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.
This booked hooked me right from the start and kept me going to entire time chase and Jenna’s characters were perfect, the chemistry the friendship it was all perfect. I could easily read more books about these same characters.
Good small town best friend romance indie rocker meets the shy girl from next door he’s already known his whole life. If you like a good story with great humor in it this if for you!

Callie Stevens has turned out another charming romance story for one of the Soul Sounds band members. This time, Chase, the drummer is in an accident after having dinner with his family. He goes to his family's home to recuperate. His younger sister asks her best friend Jenna to check on him daily. You need to read the book to find out whether romance blossoms even though there is a significant age gap and whether love can overcome all the challenges that Chase and Jenna might face.

I loved Claimed By My Best Friend's Brother by Callie Stevens. Chase and Jenna's relationship slowly evolved from friendship to love as Jenna began spending time with him after an accident left him with a broken leg. It may have began as a favor from her best friend, Rachel to check on her brother Chase but their chemistry became too strong to resist. Not only is he her best friend's brother and a rock star but he is also Jenna's crush. What happens when Chase's injury heals and he is back with his band? Will they go back to just being friends and neighbors?
