William In the elite world, the only way to cope with the monsters is to give yourself over to the darkness. My impenetrable exterior offers me protection from the pain while keeping everyone around me at a distance. Until the tragic accident that put her directly in my path.
Everleigh Morrison is different from any woman I’ve ever met. She possesses a darkness that rivals my own. She’s terrified of the demon that haunts her, convinced they will end us if they catch up to her.
And then one day, my world comes to a halt when Everleigh vanishes. But I refuse to give up on my dark angel. She is the only woman I’ve ever loved, and I’ll do anything to find her.
Everleigh Life changes so rapidly. I went from a happy childhood to my world crashing down around me. To make matters worse, a villain has infiltrated my life and is determined to ruin me. Continuously on the run, I never stay in any place for too long.
Born from tragedy, a flame sparks, and I leap into an inferno named William Anderson. I’ve never experienced the feelings that flow through me every time I’m around him.
When my past catches up with me and the villain returns, threatening to kill the man I love, I flee, broken-hearted. But vengeance beckons me, urging me to seek revenge for all she has taken.
Can we defeat the secrets of the past before they destroy us? Or will we be left with nothing but darkness and the scars within as company?
This book is a spin of of the Fractured Series, while it can be read without reading that series I highly recommend reading that three book series first.
Just as blone away by thjs book as I was with the Fractured Series and the amazing writing of the author, Jennifer has done it again with Will and Everleigh's book. The book will start out at present day and take you back to the day Will and Everleigh first met, to fully understand the depths and connection they have from their first meeting, through their relationship, to the day Everleigh disappeared and back again to present day.
It is just amazingly written and you feel the depth of each character, their emotions and how hard it has been to be with out their sole mates. You will want to jump up in cheer when they come back together. But is Will able to forgive Everleigh for running, and the serch he has been on for the last few years? As well as Everleigh still has the same problem of her step mother hunting her down to kill her. Add in the fact that she promised to stay away from Will as long as her step mother promised to leave him alone and not hurt him. So just because she found him doesn't mean that they can safly be together? So can they be together?
There is so many twists and turns and with a dramatic cliffhanger you are anxiously awaiting what will happen in the next book. I highly recommend this book you absolutely will not be disappointed.
