Holy hell this was good. This is a new author for me, and I wasn’t disappointed. This story is fun, sexy, and emotional all in one. I laughed at Sam, and I cried at Sam. I want myself a Sam.

S.A.M. was an absolute delight. Best combo of spicy and plot. With a bit of D/s thrown in. I can't wait to read more from this author.

S.A.M. was hilarious to read!
Due to mistaken identities, assumptions, and a lot of trial and error... shenanigans happen, and we wait and see if it will all work out in the end!

Love this story so much!!!
Emma an executive of a marketing company is a hard as nails ball to the wall type of woman and demands submission at work , but feels like she's missing something in her sexual life. She decides to get a sex bot from Weston Inc. that will satisfy her every needs without question. While waiting for Caleb one of the CEO's of Weston Inc. she see what she thinks is a brochure and a man (bot) catches her eye and when Caleb arrives she won't take no for answer because she needs this bot. Once the contract is signed and finalized Caleb has come to realization that he just put the company and everything that Sam has built in jeopardy. Now Sam a real man has to fake being a sex bot or see everything come crashing down. The charade has unforeseen consequences for everyone involved.
The way Emma fought her own sexual awakening because she didn't understand how her past was invading her present and sometimes its okay to let the control go. That sex was more than missionary, blow jobs, and his pleasure... Sam the geeky man turned into Alpha DOM DADDY yummmmy! was alphalicious and sizzling hot...Both Sam and Emma being humbled by their heart was so sweet. Let's not forget Caleb who was hoot and Celeste was a flipping horndog, but absolutely funny. I enjoyed reading.

This jumped up in my ranking of favorites to the top 5! I loved the whole thing. It had great humor, banter, SPICE, romance, all the feels! It was such a pleasure to read. I laughed so hard, especially in the beginning. Emma is relatable badass woman that likes to be in control, and seeing her dynamic flip was enamoring. Sam is just a hunk of a man who knows what he’s doing in all aspects. I love it!

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
I loved this book! It has all the emotions covered. You will laugh, cry, and cheer on the main characters. There is plenty of spice and angst. I will definitely be reading other books from this author. This is one of my favorite reads of the year!!

This book was so good that at first your like is he really a sexbot or is he a man and then you’re like I knew it!!! You feel everything from the way he looks at her to the way she want to believe he’s real and eventually she gives into that notion. This is the first book I’ve read by Darah and I think I’m gonna have to check out more. The spice is everything and more! That’s all I’m gonna say because you must read it!!

So good! Sexy and spicy and a plot to match. Really makes you wonder if this is something that you could do, but makes it intriguing. Explores D/s dynamics and actual relationships that develop out of it. Loved it!!

SAM has short circuited my system!
I am overheating from reading S.A.M. by Darah Lace which is a well written, clever and fantastical story. I went through all the emotions and the beginning was hysterical!
S.A.M. is brimming with betrayal, trust, desire, self discovery, passion, forgiveness and supportive friends. There is a he falls first and she is in denial of her feelings theme and an exploration of a D/s relationship.
The main characters Emma and Sam are strong, determined, very likable and playful. I also loved some of the secondary characters here, Sam’s cousin Caleb should also have a yummy story and of course Derek the man-bot could have an awfully sizzling story of his own! I recommend and I want more!

How to distinguish between a sxxbot and a man
Pretty sure the sxxbot wouldn't be programmed to lie. But other than that 'little' thing - and it was a stinker - Sam did a really, really good job of mimicking the robot. And Emma believed it.
A perfect balance of humor, professional heroine and hero with demanding jobs, and sxxcapades, this was a fantastic read!
Perhaps we'll get Caleb's story soon...?

I picked this book up as a lark. The premise seemed ridiculous. It ended up being a great book! I highly recommend it.
Emma is a marketing CEO who wants some sex in her life. She goes to order a sexbot and sees a picture of Sam who is not a sexbot, but the developer. Sam is convinced to pretend to be a sexbot for Emma to garner more data to make his sexbots more successful.
Obviously, we all know that she should realize he isn't a robot, but whenever she broaches questions, he has a scientific explanation for the answer.
This was a fun book and a fast well written read. It kept me engaged the entire time. The characters were well developed and you really wanted them to get their HEA. The consistent amount of steamy encounters didn't hurt either!

Emma is a driven woman. Top of her game, head of her company, she works non-stop. But her toys aren't enough, so when Weston want her to run their campaign, she wants to try their product, a sex-bot. The problem is, she chooses one that doesn't exist.
The obvious issues encountered in this story begin being humorous, then sad, then moving. Emma learns about her sexual tastes from the title character, but he learns a lot too. BDSM romance with very hot scenes and lots of emotion.
A wonderful story.
