Gabrielle Carlington has only ever known wealth and privilege, her world so small and cossetted – until a tall, ruggedly handsome man literally arrives on her doorstep. With his arrival, Gabrielle’s bubble is about to burst.
Dylan O’Reilly has had a tough run and lived a life of hard knocks and hard lessons. He is hard-working, determined, dependable and refreshingly honest. However, there are secrets in his past he would rather keep hidden.
Despite her father’s warnings that she stay away from Dylan, and his desire to see her partnered with an up-and-coming politician, Gabi finds herself very drawn to the quiet confidence and dependability that Dylan seems to provide. What she doesn’t know is that her father has secrets of his own he’s been keeping from her and their impact will be life-changing.
As time goes on, shocking revelations from Dylan’s past come to light and Gabi’s easy life will take a dramatic turn. She must now take control and begin making decisions for herself, well aware that all their worlds are colliding, the stakes have risen exponentially, and the wrong decision could cost her everything.

This was the first time I read a book by Jennifer Jansen but what a great writer.
I thought the story was very realistic. A 21-year-old woman from a wealthy family who decides what is right for her instead of letting het parents decide this. He, a young man who has taken care of the family since the death of his father. Taken under the wing of a man who taught him everything about landscapes and creating and making gardens. When he comes to work for her father, she discovers her feelings for him and realizes that there is more than her family wants for her. However, the road to happiness is not easy.
Gabrielle chooses herself, leaving her, in the eyes of others, perfect life behind. She chooses Dylan, a boy born on the wrong side of the track. But one who knows life as it is and without judging anyone by their position, whether it is the homeless man or the rich of the earth. Dylan who makes her think about the values that her parents give her. Someone who shows how snobbish she was raised. Someone who challenges her to step outside of her box. Someone who makes her happy. Then the choice is quickly made. As long as Dylan understands and sees that he is worth it. Because of his past, he doesn't believe he can offer her what she's used to. Beautiful, realistic.

Gabrielle is a wealthy young woman living in her own little word and really doesn't want much out of life in general. Dylan is the guy from the other side of tracks and he has a heart of gold. Dylan and Gabi bring out the best in each other and the love that they have for each other is amazing. , and Dylan, from the other side of the tracks but with a heart of gold. This book is about two people finding love and fighting for what they both want out of life. This was a great read and I loved reading there story.
Absolutely loved this story about Gabi and Dylan. They are from two different worlds but bring out the best in each other. Would recommend anyone to give this a go, a classic tale of family duty vs following your heart. I'm glad Gabi listened to herself rather than the people around her telling her who to be.
Loved 'Colliding Hearts'! I think it's one of my favourite Jennifer Jansen books, so far. A fantastic read, if you love romance, drama & a HEA 💖 this ones for you.
I really enjoyed reading this tale that could have come straight out of someone's life story.
Gabi is a wealthy young woman who has never wanted for anything. She's also never had to think much about anything. Until Dylan walks into her life. Tall, hunky, dependable Dylan. From the poorer side of town but with street smarts and a heart of gold.
Suddenly, everything looks different and Gabi must begin to emotionally mature - and fast. But her family doesn't like the direction she's taking and neither does the sleazy man her family want her to end up with. He will begin making some big waves and Gabi must now make her own decisions, which could eventually cost her everything.
This is a well-written and thoughtful story about Gabrielle, a wealthy young woman living in her own little bubble, and Dylan, from the other side of the tracks but with a heart of gold. Suddenly, the world begins to look very different as Gabi begins to question everything she's ever been taught. I loved this tale of two young people fighting the old in order to make way for the new. Sweet and steamy, this book was fabulous.
If you like overly naive love story it’s for you. For me that was painful to read as . Gabrielle is just a shelter girl who came from a really narrow minded family and until she got a crush never questioned anything. Dylan is just a big stereotype of bad boy with the heart of gold. The all thing is just overly cliché and way to sweet

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. This author has a way of drawing the reader into her heronine’s life and allowing you to be swept away with her. Have read several of Jansen’s books and looking forward to more!
