I'm not sure what to say about this book other than that it has quickly become one of my favorites so far. There was not a single aspect of this novel that I did not utterly adore. I was interested, fascinated, and riveted throughout the entire book. I couldn't put it down. And to my family's dismay, I even finished reading the narrative in one sitting without having my dinner on time. I don’t know but it seems like my hands are on a spell from flipping over the pages. There are no regrets upon reading this, the only mistake I have made was waiting so long to start this, and I'm not sure why.

I won't go into extreme detail about the plot, the characters, or the writing because spoilers are no fun. I will say though that Brad Newby’s “Dancing Bare” contains so many varied parts that you will be having a hard time keeping your feelings in. In a matter of a few pages, you'll experience a spectrum of emotions, from happiness to sadness to annoyance to rage. All these emotions are flowing wild as they gamble their lives on the line. The verdict is… I LOVED IT. Not only are the main characters well-rounded but the antagonists are also downright evil it gets to your nerves. The author outdid himself on this one.

Everything makes sense about this book. From the cover to the title, the story per se, the cast of characters, and its denouement. I didn't expect to love this nearly as much as I did. The fact that I read it again and paid attention to entirely new factors is what I believe stuck out to me the most. I was focused on assessing the personalities of each character. The person who I believed ruled this book is Sandy. She’s strong. She’s not your typical damsel in distress who needs to be saved. Rather, you’ll see that she's more than capable to handle the dangers of her job on her own.

All the while I appreciated the intrigue of the case they were investigating, but that wasn't the best part for me. Being part of their love story felt a lot wonderful. I enjoyed watching how these two fall for each other more than ever through upside down, how they protect one another and become each other’s peace of mind. In fact, at that point, I didn't particularly care how the crime ring was busted. I just wanted to see more of these couple's love stories.

Mr. Newby is at the top of his game. This book knocked it out of the park two times in a row.

Unknowingly, there would be this one book that you didn’t ask for and yet completely knock you off your feet. And I could vouch that this masterpiece is that and all. All-encompassing. All-engrossing. Just every single thing you could want. It’s simply magnificent.

The drug war in Columbia is the subject of the narrative, and every aspect of it is examined as we see it through the eyes of various characters—one who has become a go-go dancer and the other as a regular at the bar for their espionage. These two gave names to the numerous catastrophes and atrocities committed within "The Night Room."

Author Brad spares no single detail and looks at the story from every angle. Truth is, there is something special about his words that one may need in his/her lifetime and I’m so grateful that it’s out there. The way he paints this make-believe universe and portrays the innumerable emotions of his actors, nothing is ever typical with him. They are extremely deep, comparable to a well or an old ocean! His words carry you out into the untamed sea, dragging you down with them!

Oh my good heavens, I have no idea where, to begin with, this book! It was one of those tales that take you completely by surprise and leaves you hazy about what to expect before charming you so thoroughly that you find it impossible to put it down. And if this seems like I've fallen in love, you're right—I have! I am at a loss for words.

Leaping into a world of undercover action, espionage, and just a hint of romance from a writer I had never heard of before. The mischievous writing style of Brad Newby was captivating enough to lull the reader through a fast-moving storyline. If you enjoy reading books with plenty of explosions and breathtaking suspense, this is the ideal book you might want to take a risk on. Without a doubt, this book was a worthwhile read overall.

This was the perfect story I didn't know I wanted! Beautiful, fluid language made it simple to keep reading without wanting to put the book down.

Dancing Bare has a knack for intriguing readers by having characters play into their clandestine selves. And I must say, it was a novel that rattled me from page one. The action scenes were immaculately done, while the fast-paced narrative moved along the dexterously penned sequence.

With a tough personality and a guarded heart, the male protagonist certainly doesn't make things look easy. While his female partner is strong in every sense of the word. Joining hands, Sandy Lewis and Mark Matthews worked as a team on an investigation that is seeing a Colombian drug cartel on its downfall. While working on the case, they encounter some odd persons who must be investigated as potential suspects. And some they feign ignorance about. I enjoyed how the narrative was thought up and carried out because it created suspense that had everyone on the edge of their seats. Determined to crack the case no matter the cost or risk, the two had me swooning over the pages.

Thrown in a conundrum where time is running out, the body count is mounting, and drugs keep piling up. The road ahead is a long, arduous, and challenging journey. Will they ever find the end of it?

See it for yourself.

This was my first from Brad Newby, so, I wasn't sure what to expect but where could he possibly go wrong with an undercover agent with psychic powers?

Sandy Lewis and Mark Matthews are a couple tasked to infiltrate a narcotics organization. Don Raul Medina who frequents a bar in Cocoa Beach, Florida, is their key operative. To get closer to the Don, Sandy needs to fit in with the girls onstage; this includes pole dancing, lap dancing, and being seductive while wearing barely anything. Thus, she is the one who is most at risk in this situation, in addition to putting her neck on the line. She is the one that the cartel could come after and that is the plan after all.

What I loved about this is this book's ability to pose questions, it’s something I truly enjoyed. Problem after another, can they survive the adversities they face? Will everything end happily ever after or will it all come crashing down like a body in the scorching desert? It's battle, and if you back down you lose everything.

The book follows the two protagonists as they try to outwit the crime ring. Only one faction can come out of the war alive. Who will prevail, or even who is the knight and the villain, is not at all known. However, if you don't mind having your world rocked, you'll find this to be an enticing glimpse into the top-secret mission of the century. Two undercover agents on an operation, their fervor does not only put their lives in danger but also endangers a young couple’s hearts.

I was engrossed from beginning to end. Every time I thought I had grasped things; I would be proven wrong. Brad Newby strikes you with a card just when you think you know what's happening. However, everything makes sense once the facts are revealed and the cards are laid on the table. For that, the storyline was worthy enough of being made into a film. There were moments in between that had me convinced I was seeing a work of art being produced on the big screen.

Highly recommended!

This author had me at the book cover without even reading the synopsis. Hook. Line. Sinker. But then I read the synopsis and was intrigued to find out more. The kind that instantly draws you in and leaves you feeling connected with the characters from the beginning.

At heart, this is a story of a married young couple. However, endowed with extraordinary abilities, they are the urge to put the wicked in their right place. Hence, they came together as a team to defend the country and save lives. Now that they’re in the game, they should be one step closer to solving the crime. The shocking news is, this is no longer about battling drug cartels, rather, it is a terrorist attack hidden from another unlawful practice.

On the whole, even though I was expecting a bit more at the finale, this came off as a nice book to read. I'm eager to see how far this author goes once the world gets to know his works, and I'll be watching for it with anticipation.

Whatever your path in life is, there is a small part of us all that gets caught up in work, love, and life and forgets to genuinely live. That's how Sandy and Mark made me feel. Two souls close at hand are now at a loss as they work through Columbia’s biggest problem– drugs. Numerous things might be meant by undercover. However, for the pair, it entails using their psychic abilities to help solve the syndicate crime. But what if there’s more to just a drug cartel? Perhaps a plan of a terrorist attack? How are things going to unfold? Well, get yourself in for a rollercoaster ride.

Of course, the writing style. Brad’s sense is without a doubt exquisite. Each gesture, each passing second, each word—everything has a significance, and if you're observant enough, you can read between the lines. I just enjoyed his storytelling– poignant, heartfelt, and well-conceived. All of this came together in verse. Furthermore, the cast is portrayed well. Each of them holds its spotlight, they are all so palpable and genuine! I had the impression that these people, their problems, and their ideas were all part of my own experience. It resonates from within.

Disclaimer: You will want to start this when nothing could disturb you anymore, because you won’t even consider setting aside a second to yawn.

A must-read!

Dancing Bare was a surprise for me, I went into thinking it would be a “Step Up: All In” pole dancing edition because of the cover and the title per se. I didn't expect it to be interconnected with a Colombian drug cartel, international terrorism, psychic powers, and undercover agents. As the plot develops, several twists and turns are certainly a feast for our eyes. Bit by bit the mystery gripped me and drew me into a tale where surviving becomes crucial. It dives quite deeply into the emotional underpinnings and keeps its consistency all the way through. It gets going with a boom and never stops. I had high hopes for this book. And it did not let me down. I can't express sufficient praise for writer Brad’s use of language. I like that something about it causes you to pause and think. I adore the suspense interlaced in it because it gives the narrative more heart and authenticity.

This was one of those rare books that got the blend of ideas and story perfect. It made you think but also engaged and entertained.

Brad Newby is an amazing writer. He has given us a book to fully invest in reading, being attentive to all the little details in each chapter, and making sure we never miss any single one. It plays with our minds and imagination, trying to predict what comes next and what is to unravel in the next chapters.

I find this book very exciting to read and experience. It captures readers' attention and interest even though some are not even really inclined or even interested in this kind of genre.

Truly magnificent, this deserves to be read by a lot of readers!

This could be an award-winning novel of remarkable intensity and suspense.

Throughout, I would like to say that Brad Newby is an author that I am certain a lot of people would love to learn from. The way he sets the mood of the story, unfolding the characters slowly, he ties everything together for an eventual climax that will leave everyone at the edge of their seat. Once you start reading, you’ll never be able to put it down because of how invested you can be in the story itself. This is one of the many reasons that I perceive this book will be loved by a lot of readers. Newby knows how to interact with the readers, at the same time, surprises us with its twists and turns that are truly unexpected.

Highly recommended!

Literary works that provide you with unique ideas and surprising storytelling are rare nowadays. There are many books in the market with cliché plots, and I’m glad that this book is not one of those. This can be compared to your warm cup of coffee in the morning – it gives off happiness and warmth by how good it is.

Brad Newby is undeniably a brilliant writer. This book is a testament to that claim. The small details that can be found in this book add up to the overall impact. Little things indeed matter. It makes you work on your imagination and think of things from a different perspective.

I find this book thrilling and suspenseful. This fully captured my attention and gave me an exemplary reading experience. A wonderful literary piece like this deserves to be read by many.

When you can't put a book down and feel like you'll miss out on something if you choose to do so, you know it's a good one. That is exactly how I felt after reading this book. I never backed away from what I didn't want. And in this case, I didn’t want to wait until my next free time to finish Dancing Bare. It had to be that exact moment from when I started reading.

The novel was written precisely. The characters were believable, nuanced, and appealing. The plot was intense and intriguing. The story's build-up was fantastic.

See how enticing this book is for you. You may be fascinated by it and end up in the same position as me.

This is an absolute must-read!

This review would not justify the love I have for this book. It encompasses everything I am looking for in an action novel!

It is averagely paced and offers a unique perspective on heavy themes of good vs. evil and patriotism. This book not only provides a good story to read but also increases awareness that could greatly improve our society. I love how the author was courageous enough to discuss these sensitive issues, for it is something that people need to hear and be educated with. Brad Newby raised the bar high for this one. I empathize with it by heart.

I am looking forward to more of his works because this book has been nothing but promising to me. Recommended to read.
