Interchange is a unique collaboration whose interrelated contents deftly illume and affect. Designed for readers who appreciate the haiku form, the volume also serves as an excellent resource for literature and creative writing teachers as well as a source of understanding and inspiration for students.

"In January 2022, the Mann Daily Haiku published 31 poems by Michael Dudley. These outstanding haiku, each accompanied by the author's backstory of the poem and a brilliant black-and-white photograph by Tom Clausen, form Interchange. . . . The rich tapestry of poems, prose, and photos make this a stunning and unforgettable collection."

—Nina Kovačić

" Interchange is a special offering to the haiku world, a homage to the form and masters of the form. . . . truly a gorgeous book that reminds us that it is in everyday ordinariness that we must find and cherish the roots of our humanity."

If you love wabi-sabi, enjoy the tone, aesthetic, sensibilities of journals like Black and White Haiga, Wales Haiku Journal, Shadow Pond, this is a hybrid collaboration you won't want to miss. Stunning photography (haunting, ethereal, oozing with Twin Peaksian charms) powerful words, a fine team up in a critically underutilized approach and communicative form, by two massive talents of our day!!

A valuable opportunity to gain comprehensive insight into intentions and process of an exceptional author, indeed quite a rarity now that I think of it, of much scholarly interest and potential practical use for students honing and improving their own personal craft... ✨
