Evolving

After publishing my first poetry/flash fiction book, I decided to read this book as sort of a “rest” while wearing my marketing hat. Instead I found that the things I was learning in this book were not only helping me in being a faithful writer but applicable to life in general. It’s a blessing when you can grow, not only as a writer but as a believer.

Very Inspiring!

This book gave me a lot of inspiration to keep going as a Kingdom writer even/especially when the going gets tough. I love the biblical examples and verses in every chapter. I can see myself referring to parts of this book again when the enemy tries to stop me from doing God's work. Thank you CJ and Shelley Hitz!

Fast and uplifting read for writers. It has many Bible verses that come in handy and are very meaningful in the author’s journey.

This book focuses on outlining writers. So I think the tips in them are especially useful for them.

For pantsing (or intuitive) writers, like myself, I would say: read all the encouragement and ask God how to fill in the tips that are given in this book.

Instructive and encouraging

I enjoyed this book so much. I'm recommending it to our local writers group for our summer reading club. It has lots of instruction and insights as well as Christian encouragement.

A decently good devotional. Nothing earth-shattering, but it was encouraging. It could have used a better edit, as there were lots of errors in punctuation, in particular.

Loved the thoughtfulness of each entry. Love the spirit behind the authors. I found strong encouragement and highly recommend this small but potent book.

Great devotional for authors!

I love this devotional. There are lots of Christian devotionals out there but not many for writers. This is the first I’ve seen. It addresses many of the issues writers and authors face and provides the encouragement we need. Love it!
