Great read
I love a great paranormal book with all the feels and emotions! Treasure and Logan's love is amazing! Then you have crazy Roger and Candace.... this book is a combination of everything I love to read! Great job for a first time book dabbing in paranormal!!!! I definitely can't wait to continue reading about Treasure and Logan and Crazy Roger!!!!

Treasure is greatly defined in the Oxford dictionary as “a quantity of precious metals, gems, or other valuable objects.” But in the context of Leah Mayfield-Nash’s story, treasure is anything but precious or should I say delicate.
Whether you know of one, read about it in a book somewhere or seen it on a TV show, we have all experienced a love triangle. I might even go as far to say that we have even known of a love square. Someone is always at the heart of it, and can’t seem to find their way out. But trust me when I say that there is certainly nothing compared to the one in ‘Finding Treasure’, especially since not everyone survives to the end.
What I like about what Leah does within her novel is the playlist that she creates for the reader. This playlist includes songs from artists like Megan Thee Stallion, J. Cole, Janet Jackson and even Eminem. Who knew that these artists could even be on a similar playing field.
Now I know exactly what you’re thinking. One, why am I so interested in this playlist and two, what is the purpose of it. Well because the playlist is not only meant to give the reader a better understanding of the changes in mood within the storyline itself, but it also adds an extra element of creativity that we really don’t see most authors doing nowadays. I, personally, feel both closer to the author and the characters because of the playlist, but that’s just my opinion on it.
Within the actual context of this novel, there are a lot of twists and turns that will definitely keep you on your toes, especially when it comes to defining the creatures that show face once in a while. My personal favorite is the Lycubus, a new species of both Lycan and Incubus creatures. One can only imagine how well it works together in the end.
If you haven’t figured it out by now, I would surely recommend this book to those who not only like the Paranormal genre, but to all readers. Of course, I realize that it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but you never know if you don’t pick it up and explore what it means to find treasure.

Love a paranormal book!!
After reading the synopsis I knew I had to read this book. But I had NO IDEA this book was gonna suck me in the way it did!!
This book took me on a roller-coaster ride of emotions that kept me glued to my wheelchair until I finished the last page. I love love a great paranormal book. And this is a must read! Logan's love for Treasure will force him to do things that will shake up their lives. And Treasures ex and his new wanna be Harlee Quinn are determined to get revenge against Treasure. I'm not one too spoil a great story. So I won't start now. You'll just have to read the book book. Trust me it's so worth it. This author is new to me. But I DEFINITELY will be checking out more of her work. And I can't wait for part 2 of this story!! I highly recommend this author and this book.

Looks can be deceiving
Unique words, LLC recommended the first book by redscorpio to us. Treasure was a wounded bird dealing with a traumatic situation from her past with her ex boyfriend who she thought was the one but evil in him was exposed and there was no going back. Treasure has moved on and built a life for herself with the support of her parents but somethings you don't forget. When Logan came in the picture she had her guard up but little by little he got closer to Treasure holding onto secrets that as you read this story will be revealed as well as Roger the evil from her past causing havoc in her present life. I can't wait for book 2 and 3 to come out

Pretty Good
Logan and Treasure have been having dreams about unknown strangers for years. When they finally meet it’s love at first sight, but Logan has a secret he’s keeping.
This was a pretty good book especially as it’s this authors first published book. I liked both main characters a lot although I was so mad at Treasure in the end, like come on girl just get with the program haha. That Roger was the worst, and Candace too!
I’m interested to see where this goes, and hope in the next book (which hopefully doesn’t take forever to come out) that Treasure gets it together sooner rather than later.
My only complaint is some grammatical issues and sometimes it will be in one person’s POV and then switch with no warning.
Overall a pretty good read, give it a try.

Roller coaster
I enjoyed Treasure and Logan’s story. Logan was unique and combined two different exceptionalities. He has dreamed of a faceless woman for years….his mate. Once he has her will he be able keep her once she knows WHAT he is? I hope in the next story we find out Logan’s origins.

Okay
This book was recommended by Unique Words LLC. This is my first book by this author the story was good and I love the main two characters. My only complaint is they has a lot of grammar issues. Then I was confused on who was talking at times. I can't wait for the next book hope its not a long wait.

This was interesting book for sure, I don’t see why Treasure was upset with Logan he was only protecting her. I am looking forward to book 2 to see what is next for Logan, Treasure and Roger who I hope karma comes back and bites him.

I tried
I tried but I was unable to finish this book. By page 36 I had checked out. I cannot leave a complete review bc I was unable to finish this book. I live paranormal and bwwm romance but this fell flat.

Logan & Treasure: I Needed to See More of Them!
When I found out that this book contained two of my favorite romance genres, I was hyped! A paranormal, interracial romance is hard to come by. I'd struck gold. As a woman in an interracial marriage, it's very difficult for me to find a book containing an interracial love story that isn't a satirical, clichéd misrepresentation of what some people perceive to be the makings of an interracial coupling. In reality, we are no different than any other couple of the same race. So, the fact that this wasn't presented in this book, is a definite plus.
The reader is introduced to Treasure a young woman who is finding her way in the world after putting awful events from her past behind her. Enter: Logan, a hybrid Lycan/Incubus shifter who seeks the woman who has haunted his dreams and thoughts, his fated mate, Treasure. They meet and fall in love, but trouble lurks behind the scenes as there is someone from Treasure's past plotting to destroy her and anyone who gets in his path, including Logan.
The writing style of the book was amazing. The author does an excellent job of pulling you into the world of Treasure and Logan. I'll admit, I was not a fan of Logan at first. He came off as very brutal and a darker shade of morally grey I prefer. He walked a very thin line. However, the more I got into the story, I began to understand his behavior. The fact is, Logan is a predator. Period, end of story. He was ruthless and acted within his nature unapologetically. However, I do believe that he did love his mate and would protect her with his life, which is what sold me on him.
Unfortunately, I grew a little frustrated about the influx of characters introduced in this book. The story veered off into the happenings of the side characters and took precious time away from Logan and Treasure's story. Furthermore, the story is told from multiple points of view, which is very difficult so kudos to the author but, this added to the confusion and there were so many characters that I got confused as who speaking and would have to backtrack pages to stay on course with the story.
The story was very compelling and an interesting take on the behavior and true predatory nature of a paranormal Hero and human Heroine. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.

Enjoyable
I love paranormal books that have unique supernatural elements to their characters.
I really enjoyed Treasure and Logan. I hope they're able to work things out before Roger creates chaos.
There's a huge cliffhanger at the end of this book, but luckily for me book 2 is available. 😉
I would recommend this book and read more from this author.

Absolutely FANTASTIC!
I started reading this book this morning and could not stop reading! The story is amazing! Kept my attention from the every first sentence! There’s action, suspense, a little humor, romance and plenty of SPICE!! I’ll be looking for more books from L. Mayfield!

Love It
I enjoyed this book. I just wished the author would have Dug a little more into Logan's supernatural side. Or maybe told Treasure sooner. Overall I definitely enjoyed reading can't wait for part 2..

Hidden Gem
I have read tons of paranormal and can usually guess the plot before finishing the 1st chapter but not with this one. Let's just say this one is different in a GOOD way. Some parts are a little slow with lots of fillers but its worth it.
