Rashid Dossett is an anthropologist, latin americanist, europeanist, sociologist, and novelist from Curaçao. He studied at Leiden University and Erasmus University Rotterdam. He conducted fieldwork in Guatemala in 2019 for his Masters Degree in Latin American Studies. He also resided in Seoul, Korea in 2020 and early 2021 conducting volunteer work. He publishes historical fiction based on research into colonial empires (especially the Spanish Empire). From time to time, he also publishes non-fiction (anthropological and/or sociological work).
