*Re-release*
Enigmatic restaurateur Lucky Knight is a force to be reckoned with. He keeps his hand in many pots amongst the ATLien elites. He has it all until he lays eyes on Erin Niles, a top event planner to the Atlanta socialite scene with no desire to return to dating any time soon.

When Lucky walks into the coffee shop she’s taken refuge in, Erin can’t help the intoxicating effect he has on her. Intent on fighting her attraction, Erin flees the shop to curb his advances. After several chance run-ins with Lucky, she eventually agrees to go on a date with him.

After a night filled with violence, the couple find themselves pushed together when they form a bond based on their shared trauma.

Lucky is ready to risk it all to protect the love he’s found in Erin, but she’s not so certain. Will their relationship withstand the trial of healing and moving forward on solid ground or is it merely a foundation built upon pain?

A good start

The title was good for this story. The parts that made the story click also were the parts that caused a slightly edgy side to the tale. Lucky meeting Erin felt like one dramatic event after another. The drama nearly overpowered the story. A closer content review was needed to clarify and rectify the editing issues. Overall, the story was a good 3.0 story.
