I'm a writer, a pagan, and a witch, and consequently love all things magical. I write fictional books about witchcraft and the paranormal, and they are jam-packed with fabulous characters, colourful settings, plenty of action, and lots of humour.
I was born in England, in the Black Country, but moved to New Zealand in 2006. I lived near Wellington with my partner Jase, and my cats Sacha and Leia. However, in April 2022 we moved again! Yes, I like making my life complicated… I’m now living in the Algarve in Portugal, and loving the fabulous weather and people. When I’m not busy writing I read lots, indulge in gardening and shopping, and I love yoga.
Confession time! I’m a Star Trek geek – old and new – and love urban fantasy and detective shows. Secret passion – Columbo! Favourite Star Trek film is the Wrath of Khan, the original! Other top films – Predator, the original, and Aliens.
In a previous life I was a singer in a band, and used to do some acting with a theatre company. For more on me, check out a couple of my blog posts. I have also written a blog about how I finally became comfortable about calling myself a witch. It's called Leaning into my Witch.
Visions, scrying, haunted house, murder! These are some of the few things to look forward to in this fast paced, exciting book! So, magical death or not? Well, that's the question, no one can find anything remotely magical about the deaths, yet something doesn't quite add up. With Alex's visions becoming more violent, the Coven tries to make sense of them, if they are related to the deaths, and if so, how. I enjoyed the "ordinary" human life mixed with the supernatural, it adds drama to the mystery and this all takes place in the middle of a heatwave, so well depicted, I almost felt myself wilting from the heat! The book got more and more interesting the more I read! Meeting witches, seers, a Nephilim and then a banshee is a treat not often given in one book. Loved the easy, comfortable, caring of the characters. Their affection for one another is obvious and their concern for one another is heartening. And they have cause to be concerned! Not only do they have to deal with the murders and the visions, they have paranormal hunters descend on them, putting them all at risk. I really enjoyed Tamsyn, I felt there was more to her than what was presented at face value and I loved how it unfolded! As for Blair, I felt equal amounts of sympathy and joy for her predicament, love how that turned out! Yeah, yeah, I know, I'm talking in riddles but how can I not without giving vital information away? You'll have to read it yourself to find out more
These books just keep getting ever more thrilling the more we read and this, book 10 is terrific. Our witches coven is in great danger as a deadly new supernatural creature rises and people report hearing terrible screams and wailing, and others are found dead the next day, people start dying like flies and our coven needs to resolve this problem. Furthermore as yet another celebration is approaching and the GOP's interview on the news attracts more tourists to White Haven the danger is very real. Apart from the tourists though hunters are appearing on the scene too and they prove to be a threat to our friends too. Stormcrossed Manor is a very creepy massive estate where an elderly lady lived alone up to a few months back, now her grand daughter and children came to stay and Beth the young child is a seer and what she sees sets all our friends into a panic. Can they as usual save the day without losing any of our beloved group of witches? I was so enthralled by this very scary episode in our coven's life that I could not put the book down. This is one of the most dark tales by far to date but as I said this series just keeps getting stronger with every book! If T.J. Green keeps them coming I, for one will surely keep on reading!
Hands down or up this is such a phenomenal addition to the White Haven Witch series and finally Briar gets a look into her family and the past. This one was so diverse and full on action and drama that the pages literally turned themselves! Personally, since the introduction of the Nephilim in an earlier book, (if you’ve not read the series, backtrack and catch up.) it feels perfectly rounded out when they are involved. The plot has thickened, so to speak as this one sets the stage for more to come in future books! Yay and Happy Dancing!
I’m an avid reader but am also blessed to be an arc reader for Ms. TJ Green and I was beyond thrilled to get this advance copy in my email in exchange for an honest review.
Book 10 of the White Haven Witches series and it truly doesn’t disappoint!!
White Haven, a quaint town in Cornwall is getting ready to celebrate Lughnasadh; the White Haven Coven of witches are all looking forward to the celebrations and to have some fun. However, the Supernatural world has other plans for them.
Another adventure begins and this time most of the whole gang are involved. The Witches, Newton (the Detective) an his colleagues, Shadow, the Fey, the Nephilim (Fallen Angels) and the Ghost OPS. join together to get to the bottom of who or what is behind the deaths of two visitors to White Haven. For the first time "Hunters" come to Cornwall which concerns the witches. What are their motives? Can they be trusted?
From page 1 to the end, I was immersed into the fantasy world of The White Haven Witches, every page was leading me to more intrigue and excitement, (so much so I had great difficulty putting it down.) My imagination melted into the plot and I became a watcher looking down on everything that was happening and I enjoyed every moment of every page I joined. Danger, Magic and the Supernatural comes together to create an exciting read.
T J Green has an amazing imagination and the ability to create words, plots and storylines which grab you and take you into another realm and you stay there until the end.
I have read all of this series 3 times over and from the first book to this one they are all packed with drama, magic and supernatural activities and they are all different, no repeat plots in this series. I feel this book series would make a brilliant series for TV
I highly recommend this series of books and if I could give it 10 stars I would.
As the wheel turns, Lughnasadh heralds more than just the dark days of winter. White Haven is full of visitors making the most of the summer holidays, but when two die in inexplicable circumstances, fear descends on the town. The witches are trying to return to normality after the events of the solstice, and Newton is dealing with his own problems, but they must put these issues aside to find answers. It’s not easy, and they struggle with what little evidence they have —until Ghost OPS stumble across a clue. Suspicions multiply, and whispers of screams across the moor spread quickly through the town. Wow the stories just get better. We find out more about the past so what will happen in the future. This series is up there with the best.
This book is packed with magic and intrigues . It's non stop and gets more and interesting as the story develops.
The White Haven Witches have their work cut out in this 10th installment. They are fighting against time and an unusual entity. It's intriguing and has so many twists that it urges you to keep turning the next page.
In this installment there are Hunters. Some benevolent ones and some dodgy ones. The witches, the Nephillims as well as those portrayed in previous books are included alongside some newcomers.
It's very well portrayed. Especially with so many players involved. They all play important roles and there isn't a boring moment. It's fast and action packed. A delightful addition to the series.
I am Loving White Haven Witches, I have 11,12 and 13 waiting to be read. This series has thoroughly captured my attention and once I start I can't put them down, in fact I have to read another book in between to make them last. The characters are delightful, in Stormcrossed Magic I loved the old dilapidated Manor and the reason it was like that, the coven coming together to stop the killings with the aid of other entities and friends was great, the evil at the manor was compelling and add to that mix the hunters and it made for a very entertaining read with a satisfactory conclusion. It was a gripping read and I can thoroughly recommend the whole series, each book has captured my mind with such wonderful stories combined with my favourite people, love them.
The White Haven Series continues with Avery Hamilton and her boyfriend Alex Bonneville sharing her apartment above her book and occult object shop. As the Lughnasadh holiday approaches (fall/harvest festival) approaches something is causing very evil magic. Alex has been having horrible visions and nightmares. Then random people in the village begin to hear horrific screams in the night and several people who seem unrelated and not associated with the witches have suddenly died while hearing the screams. Detective Inspector Newton is at wit's end trying to solve the mystery. He is getting help from the coven and their magical friends.
Wow, what a brilliant story. When you decide to read this book, free up your day and hide out in a comfortable spot. Hell if you have a nurse who can fit a catheter for you so you don't need to stop to pee do it 😂 With two exciting plots unfolding at the same time, I was hooked and spent five hours reading it in one sitting. I think this has been my favourite book so far. With T.J. Green's books I have to remind myself that I haven't just watched a movie, the stories are always so well written I see the characters, places and the story unfold in my mind so clearly, what an amazing writer!
This is the 10th book about the Whitehaven Witches from Tj Green and it is the best one of the series! Every book gets better, long may she continue! Strange deaths happen and dreadful screams are heard over the moor. A decrepit mansion seems to be the centre of the problems. The witches and their friends try everything in their considerable power to resolve the situation they are faced with. Fast paced and lots of magic and twists and turns. Highly recommend even if the previous books haven’t been read first!
Brilliant! TJ Green is an incredibly imaginative author. Her world of fantasy infuses so well with reality that her stories are quite believable. The small town of White Haven and the surrounding area that is quietly nestled close to Cornwall feels as real as Cornwall itself. The descriptions are so vivid, the characters are so real, it would be easy to envision this world as truly existing. The adventures are fast-paced and breathtaking, leaving the reader feeling like they have just gotten off the wildest ride ever upon completion of each story. Another cracker! Well done!
Ok. I’ve just finished StormX. Here is my honest review. X
Before you read ‘StormCrossed ‘ 1: Make an appointment with your manicurist. You’ll have none of your own left!💅 2: Make sure you have a good strong tipple to hand.🥃 3: Thank the Goddess that we have in our midst , in the 21st Century, one of the best authors I’ve ever had the privilege to read. 🧹🥇👏🥂💐
This book, will have you on the edge of your seat, under the duvet, sobbing your heart out, and then some! Brilliant just brilliant!
I loved the tension, the edge of the seat drama. There new characters with some twists and changes to some known and loved ones. I highly recommend this book and series to those with a love or experience of the esoteric, fantasy, old legends and myths and a deep love of Cornwall. This series is well written, rich in storylines and characters. I can see this translating very well to the screen in a British/Cornish series. Try it, even if you don't, you won't be disappointed.
Once again a wonderful read! This book follows on from the previous books with ease and familiarity. The story is based around a coven of witches from Whitehaven in Cornwall. I won’t give away the plot but this book (like the others) is written with genuine love for the characters and hope for all they do. I always enjoy these stories and feel a little bereft when I’ve finished them. For a short while, I am also a member of that coven and can’t wait to be again.
Book 10 in a brilliant series and this one certainty didn't disappoint. Had me hooked from the very start. I just couldn’t put it down. With a new supernatural threat to defeat, the coven and friends have their hands full. I really enjoy the different characters point of view and it was great to see more of Ben, Cassie and Dylan. (GOP) TJ Green is a brilliant writer drawing you in with her characters, who just love and her descriptive writing, setting the scene.
This book is an exciting continuation to the series. The books just keep getting better and better. It is a brilliant story delving into the background of one of the witches with two exciting plots unfolding at the same time. You easily get lost in all the characters and places that have been involved in the earlier books. TJ Green is a wonderful writer and I can’t wait for the next book in this series and the White Haven Hunters series.
Have been a fan of TJGreen and read all her books. This book is continuing the saga of the White Haven Witches and their adventures. The story draws you in, the plot is well written and has quite a few new characters as well as the usual ones. Overall it was a book I could not put down until I had finished and really enjoyed reading. Would recommend if you like Witch stories, covens and the paranormal.
Waited anxiously for this book! I have read all the others and again, I could not put it down for long. This author does exceptionally well in researching her back grounds. The characters come to life and you want to join them in their adventures, explore the town, shop in their stores and drink in the pub. A wonderful book to get lost in! T.J. Green has become of my all time favorite authors. I highly recommend this and any of her books!
I have been a fan of the Whitehaven Witches series from the beginning and I have to say that Storm crossed Magic is my favourite instalment so far. Everything you would expect, TJ has delivered in spades. Magic, excitement and plot twists galore. If you are already a fan of the series you will love this book. If you are a fan of witchy fantasy and haven't yet discovered TJ's books I would recommend starting with Buried Magic and binging your way all the way to this book!
This is a wonderful addition to this thrilling series! Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story. Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read more of these. Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
This series gets better and better. Witchy book with touch of crime, legends and myths serf in beautiful Cornwall. Full of amazing characters old and new, ever changing plot. It is funny and keeps you wanting more and more. I couldn’t put it down and as soon as I’ve finished it I have started again. This is a must read if you like stories about witchcraft but also about friendship and legends. Highly recommended.
Storm Crossed Magic is the 10th book in the White Haven Witches series. As with all the other books in this series it did not disappoint. There are screams heard on the moors followed by unexplained deaths. Ancient magic is afoot. The witches together with their friends try to discover the cause before more deaths occur. We are introduced to new characters who are related to one of the witches and who I hope we will hear more about in future books. This is a book that is so difficult to put down. It can be read as a stand alone but why deprive yourself, the whole series is amazing, exciting and filled with characters you come to care about.
This is so good! The witches have their time with this one. Alex has strange visions. With both good and bad hunters in the area, severe storms and bloodcurdling, horrific screaming everyone is edgy. The number of dead added to the mix doesn't help in the least. All in all this is a very good story. I received this as an ARC for review.
Fantastic continuation of the series. New characters are introduced, and old ones come into the story. Some of the new ones are not nice at all. Fast paced and lots of action. The coven has suffered recently and this continues. Some surprises for our hero’s and their mettle will be sorely tested. I’m not sure where the author comes up with the plot lines, please don’t stop.
TJ Green has done it again. This is the 10th book in her series of Haven witches and it doesn't disappoint. Still leaves you wanting more. The action grips you from the start and you don't want to put it down. I get very antisocial when I am reading these books and then very sad when I am finished. Roll on the next one in the series 🥰
Storm Crossed Magic is another brilliant tale by T.J. Green in the town of White Haven.
The witches are warned of impending danger when Alex's visions come back with a yell! Then a number of bodies start turning up. Before they know it there are Paranormal Hunters in town, some not so nice.
This latest edition of White Haven Witches is an excellent read. The characters are so well formed and believable that reading Stormcrossed Magic is like welcoming friends back into your life. The storyline is fast paced and well written, this book is hard to put down. Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys ghost, supernatural or crime stories.
This book is one of the best in the White Haven Witches series. If you enjoyed the other books then you will really love this one. A plot with many twists and turns, the story really draws you in, and you really can't put the book down. I really love the smaller characters enjoying more involvement in the plot too. I read this book quickly then had to start again in case I'd missed anything.
