In the heat of the moment, you can either dig in your spurs or ride off into the sunset.
Casey Lane
I’m all alone in this world. Well, except for my best friend Megan and the animals I save with the non-profit I created. But no one needs to shed a tear for me. My past makes me strong, independent, and driven. I know what I want, and I don’t need anyone’s help.
That is until I meet rugged cowboy, McCoy Knox.
When a fire rips through my apartment, destroying everything, I have nowhere to go. McCoy offers me a room—right next to his—and a job as a nanny to his daughter.
I don’t want to want him, but I can’t control the blaze that tears through me at a single glance. My fight against my growing desire is holding me hostage…
Will his touch be the spark that sets me free?
McCoy Knox
I’m a small-town cowboy with a broken heart and a bad attitude. It’s who I am, and I have no plans to change.
When Casey stumbles into my path, I can’t ignore the heat in my blood at the mere sight of her. She excites me. Makes me feel things I haven’t felt in years. She’s also stubborn, opinionated, and sexy. A combination I can’t seem to resist.
Fate intervenes, and she’s working as my daughter’s live-in nanny. This unforgettable woman is sleeping in a bed fifteen feet from me!
Casey has slipped right under my defenses, and I’m not sure if I should push her back or draw her in closer. I’m not even sure if that’s my decision to make, anymore.
The heart wants what the heart wants, and mine wants her.
Patched Hearts is a heart-pounding, pulse-shattering series with rugged cowboys and strong, independent women who know what they want. Enjoy!

Prints of Fate: Book 6 of Patched Hearts brings the series to a happy ending for McCoy and Casey after many ups and downs and it did not disappoint. McCoy comes through surgery and gets home from the hospital so they can finally share all their good news with family and friends. Most of this book focuses on their upcoming wedding at the ranch while they are remodeling the house to be ready for their new addition. If you don’t love cliffhangers this series would not suit you, but the author leaves you with excitement for the next book. I loved all the characters and their love and support for one another. I do hope to get Tyler and Megan’s story in the future. I would recommend the book and this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Ella Cooper has written a 5-star book. This is the final story of Cassey and McCoy. To know the full back story of Cassey and McCoy you will have needed to read the first five books. Cassey is waiting for McCoy to come out of surgery. They had found a blockage and needed to take care of it. Cassey calls Megan to let her know what is going on so that she can tell everyone at the ranch. Megan tells her that she would be there in a little while to stay with her. Alice, McCoy's nurse takes Cassey back to his room so that she can wait his surgery out. Alice sits with Cassey until Megan gets to the hospital. As soon as Cassey sees Megan, she breaks down. Alice calls Cassey and wants to know if she wanted to be notified of news on McCoy's surgery. Cassey tells her yes. Alice calls her a little later and tells her that McCoy is out of surgery and headed to recovery and that the doctor would be in to talk to her in a few minutes. The doctor comes to talk to Cassey and tells her what happened and then takes her to McCoy in recovery. She sits with him until he wakes up. The doctor comes in and talks with McCoy and tells him that he is going to be in the hospital for a few weeks doing physical therapy and after he goes home he will still have to do the therapy. Cassey and McCoy discuss when they are going to tell everyone that they have gotten married and about Cassey being pregnant. They decide to let everyone know at the same time. McCoy wants to get married again with all his family and friends around and Cassey agrees. This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Part Six the final chapter focuses mostly on tying up loose ends. Finalizing or giving some fairly strong hints (hoping possibly future stories) in regards to the supporting characters. A good majority of this final chapter focuses on their upcoming wedding at the ranch where they will be renewing their vows in front of family and friends since they quickly got married in the hospital by the chaplain. All throughout each chapter/parts of the story builds up to the wonderful endings and HEA’s that Ms. Cooper gives with her stories. All of the characters were like family, you the reader actually felt all the feels right along with them the ups and the downs. This is an excellent book, you must read all six parts. Trust me when I say you absolutely will not regret it as with all of Ms Cooper’s books. Wonderful stories. I am so ready for the next set of books. I received an Advance Reader's Copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest thoughts and opinions.
So we now have the last in the series and we find out what is going to happen to Casey and McCoy. We know that Casey is pregnant and that they got married in the hospital but they want to do another wedding if McCoy lives through this new bought of medical problems. Will he be there for the Fourth of July celebration, will Abby accept Casey as a mother and be a sister to her new brother or sister? Will McCoy and Casey get the house rebuilt, will McCoy even make it home ever. All these and many more questions are answered and I love the way that Ella just ties everything up in a nice pink bow for Casey. Also, who will the next couple of couples be?.

Book Six of the Patched Hearts Series, must be read as part of the series. Time to go back to chatting on the deck this time instead of the front porch. After everything that Casey and McCoy have been through, things are finally in place for them to move forward with their life together. This book is filled with many reason to celebrate for this favorite couple. Life, weddings, babies and all of the other things that life can offer. All of the characters in this book show what family and friends really are. After all of the angst a reader can be thrilled about what is to come. Wonderful ending to the series. I received an advanced copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Prints of Fate: Book 6 of Patched Hearts did not disappoint. After everything that Casey and McCoy have been through will they finally get their happy ever after? I have loved every step of this story, I don’t love cliffhangers but the excitement I feel for each book can’t be measured. I loved every character and hope to get to read Tyler and Megan’s story. The End of the Prints of Fate has come this is the 6th and final book. Luck finally smiles on McCoy and Casey, they've been through it all and now that he's recovering at home after his surgery, they can finally start planning the wedding they'd like to hold at the ranch. McCoy and Casey's story was perfectly written and kept you glued to your book from start to finish, despite the cliffhangers, you were always anxiously waiting for the next part. Ms Cooper is the queen of cliffhangers. This series is well worth reading and I can't wait to see what news it has in store for us.
I received a Advance Reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC copy of this. What a lovely conclusion to the story. The whole series was like a soap opera, each section ending with a cliffhanger leaving the reader begging for the next instalment. Casey and Mckoy certainly went through some drama before finding their HEA.
It’s the first time I’ve read a series in this way and I loved it. Short reads with incredible cliffhangers, twists and turns. Well written, with believable characters that the reader becomes invested in
Fabulous, thank you Ella Cooper, a stunning series
What a perfect ending this book was Mccoy and Casey have been through so much and this book brought closure to so many situations that had been happening to them. Their wedding was perfect and when Abby asked to call Casey Mommy it made your heart melt and a few tears fell. It was a beautiful moment for the three of them. I absolutely loved the Epilogue and how we got to see what some of the other characters had been up to as well it was just what we needed to bring this series to the perfect ending, I was given this book as an ARC for my honest review.
A fitting conclusion to this series... This has been my favourite series to date by Ella Cooper who has mastered the art of getting you hooked from the get go & counting the days until the next in series is due. Loved the main characters & their supportive friends, the hero's mother & his daughter & the bond with his employees. Also felt happy that although already married the couple decided to have a proper wedding ceremony for their friends & family. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
Prints of Fate is the sixth and final part/book in the Patched Hearts series and concludes the story of Casey and McCoy "Mac" Knox. This book is a wowsa, and all in the best ways. I have loved reading Casey and Mac's road to finding their HEA, and all the twists and turns the emotional roller-coaster has taken. You just keep hoping, cheering and shedding a few tears along the way with them. But in the final moments it is all worth it as they have their perfect HEA. I really loved this series.
I received an Advanced Reader Copy for an honest and voluntary review
This was a fantastic conclusion to McCoy and Casey’s story ♥️ I really enjoyed it!! It was about putting the past away and trying to move on to a better future. McCoy has to learn that, after his surgery. As much as he misses his ex wife, he’s got his daughter and new family additions, waiting for him. I feel like each character had an awakening. Watching this family finally coming together was beautiful 🥰 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES 💙
This a satisfying end to this series. Casey an McCoy are fantastic characters and a loving couple. This book is the culmination of this series. I throughly enjoyed this series. Casey is such a sweetheart who was hard working. McCoy is an upstanding man with a big heart, kind, and a loving father. Their love developed slowly. The development of their relationship was a joy to read.
I received this book as an ARC from Bookfunnel for my honest review.
This is the final installment of a six part series. It was a bittersweet ending. I could go on and on with these two and their close friends!
I loved all the love, support and hard work that McCoy and Casey put into their relationship, friends and family. I loved that they came out on top when there were many times I was sure that they wouldn’t.
I would love to see how Meghan and Tyler’s, and Cory and Tracy’s relationships evolved, I would also love to see if Matt ended up with anyone!
This is Part 6 of this series. Yes, read all of the ones before you read this one and know that each of them is short, but they all end with a cliffhanger except this one. The story of McCoy and Casey continues here. This is the final installment and I don’t want to spoil too much but to let you know that there are weddings and babies. This one is just really sweet after all the angst of the previous parts. This is the payoff for dealing with all that 😊
McCoy finally gets the report where he can go home with restrictions. Physical Therapy at home with reporting to the doctor every month. They finally tell the family and friends the secrets they have been keeping. Fireworks is a real celebration this year with family and friends. This series is the best, very easy to read and enjoy.
I read an early review copy of this book for an honest review.
McCoy is getting better by the day, but still, it takes him some time to recover totally. Once he is on the ranch again, he just realizes how fortunate he is of having so many people who love him and take care of him. A perfect ending for a beautiful series. I think this one is the best one I have read by Ella Cooper so far. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The saga drew to a happy ending for McCoy and Casey after many struggles. They save the good news to share with their family and friends until McCoy gets home from the hospital so they can all celebrate with them. The whole series makes a wonderful story.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
McCoy and Casey are dealing with a lot in this book. You can feel the emotions they are going through every step of the way. Luckily they have great support from their small army of friends and focus on healing. Great addition to the series.

Casey and McCoy have been through so much in their short time together but finally everything has come together and they get their happily ever after along with a new baby and another on the way.

This is the final book in the series and what a perfect ending. I absolutely loved how Casey and McCoy were together but with his latest surgery will they get to spend the rest of their lifes together and build their beautiful family. So much drama and plenty of emotion but a brilliant ending. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
McCoy and Casey have been through so much and now they want to have a happily ever after! They get what they want but will they get answers about all of the obstacles thrown there way? This was a wonderful storyline and the characters were great especially the epilogue at the end! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
McCoy is rushed into emergency surgery and Casey is freaking out.
Will McCoy be okay? When will they tell everyone they got married in the hospital? When will they share their other exciting news? Will Megan and Tyler come clean about their relationship?
I loved the way everything was wrapped up in this series.
Thank you Ella for an incredible series and for allowing me to read this book. I’m so glad Ella didn’t disappoint as we received our HEA. The couple certainly needed their happy ending after all they went through. Love, loved all the secondary characters too! I wish we had more…I never want the stories to end. I received an ARC and I’m leaving my honest and voluntary review.
Just got my ARC copy yesterday and I had to find out how the story ends. I really enjoyed this series. The characters were very well written. I was entranced from beginning to end. This is my voluntary review.
We end this series on all high notes. This last installment of the patched hearts series is exactly what id expect from a multi-part series like this by tying up all loose ends. I enjoyed the series. Lots of ups and downs. I’m happy to see everything worked out for casey and McCoy.
I enjoyed reading this series. It has got to be one of the best. Casey, McCoy and Abby got their happily ever after even though there were a few mishaps along the way
I loved this series! As Ella’s note at the end said, it reignited passion in my marriage and reminded me why I fell in love with my husband in the first place. -Erica <3
A great ending to the series. This was a great story but you want to start at the beginning. Lots of ups and downs but they stick together. I can't wait to read more from this author. I was given an advanced reader copy from booksprout and I voluntarily leave this review.
