He was there when Oliver was arrested for pick-pocketing, taken before a judge and saved from prison by the old gentleman, Mr Brownlow. He was there when Oliver was snatched back by Fagin's accomplice Bill Sikes before he could tell the police about the gang of thieves. And there to hear that Oliver had been shot while breaking into a posh house with Sikes. In the end, Oliver was reunited with Mr Brownlow who turned out to be his grandfather. Fagin’s gang was broken up by the law. Fagin was hanged Bill Sikes was dead after murdering his girlfriend, Nancy. But where was the Artful Dodger? His story starts here.....
