Life is for the living, and Leah McKnight has discovered there’s more to living than just staying alive. However, the dead have just as much of an impact on Leah’s life.
Only Leah knows the truth about Shelly, and as far as the police are concerned, no body means no crime. Ricky has moved on after getting away with murder. What happened to Shelly might be clear to Leah, but unless Leah can find Shelly’s body, he could have a new victim.
The fate of Chrissie’s ex is still unknown. Chrissie and Lilly are in more danger than ever. Despite the concern of Leah’s reaper, Leah won’t abandon her friend in need. Leah doesn’t know how to help, though. She only knows she has to try, even if that puts her life at risk.
All choices have repercussions, and Leah’s actions are no different. There will be consequences. Leah heard the words and accepted their implication—she just thought she’d have more time. No matter how damning or whether she’s ready, it’s time for Leah McKnight to reap the consequences of her actions.
Trigger Death and Dying, Domestic Abuse, Homophobia, Mental Illness, Murder, Pet Loss, Self Harm, and Suicide Attempts.
Reaping Consequences also contains the importance of friendship, recognizing and accepting help when offered, protecting your family—related by blood or not—the furry ones that make our houses homes, prickly reapers, learning to be tenacious when needed, and romantic intrigue.
Reaping Consequences is the seventh and final book in the Reaping Covetous series. The books should be read in order, starting with Reap What You Sow.
I've been a veterinarian for almost twenty years and have recently added published author to my resume. I've been writing for over fifteen years, most of those stories languishing on my computer. A couple of years ago my fear of never trying to publish my stories overcame my fear of failure. The result is my first book, "Sow What You Reap". It is the first in the Reaping Covetous series. The next book, "Dead Women Tell Tales" should be out by the end of October 2021.
I love supernatural, urban fantasy, paranormal, and mystery genres. I write both M/F and M/M oriented stories.
Please don't hesitate to ask me a question or two.
Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy my stories. I know I love telling them.
Maybe it's just me, but I didn't love this ending. There were aspects of the book I liked, but it felt like too much was left unsaid, and then the twist at the end just left me frustrated. It came out of left field, and the epilogue made me roll my eyes a bit. It feels like there's more coming, but I felt a bit cheated.

I’m crying here. The ending what definitely not what I expected and yet, completely in tune with the series themes. Leah and Andy continues, albeit differently. I loved to see how her chosen family grew and stay together. The love and care for each other is evident and Leah is able to heal from her mental wounds. Kudos to the author for the sensibility when discussing so many heavy themes.
A captivating narrative that masterfully weaves together emotional depth, suspenseful intrigue, personal challenges, lighthearted moments, heartfelt connections, and unwavering resilience into an extraordinary storytelling experience.
