It was the most beautiful ship Adrianne Chrisander had ever seen and it was brand new! How could she resist buying The Wayward Wind?
And how could she resist sending the ship around the world?
She hoped it would be a trouble-free cruise, but alas, every leg of the journey was fraught with problems and all of them were man-made!
There were threats, attempted murder and a man with a gun, and that was before The Wayward Wind got as far as San Francisco.
By the time the lovely ship reached South Africa there was a body in the swimming pool and then one of Adrianne's old rivals managed to sneak on board and the mayhem became a problem!
Come cruising around the globe in Cosmos Cruise Line's newest and most luxurious ship and share the adventures!
I was very disappointed to discover that this book is not new, but a confusing compilation of the other Wayward Wind books in the series. Why was this done?
Ms. Josephine has once more proved that every Cosmos Cruise Line book is better than the one preceding it! Join Adrianne and Keith on their newest luxury cruise ship as it travels around the world with a host of lovable characters and more than a few shady characters to keep your mind twirling with the latest whodunit trying to get not only Adrianne's host but her boat as well! A fun and entertaining read. If you haven't read the series, be sure to start with book 1 and work your way through the series before reading this one! You'll be glad you did!
A well-written story, but a few too many twists and turns for me. Too many sub-plots to keep track of. There's a lot of detail, especially about the comings and goings of all the many characters. One problem for me was that I wasn't able to sit down and keep reading the book nonstop. I had many periods of time where a day or more would go by without reading any of it. Anyway, Lizzie Josephson is one of my favorite authors!
Names of certain characters would suddenly change halfway through the book, especially surnames and in one instance, a first name. Editing issues, not edited properly. Several grammatical errors littered throughout, repetition of phrases even on the same page, and lastly, a combination of previous stories under a different title. I wish readers were informed beforehand that it was a book of repeated stories.
If you think you've got problems wait until you see what Adrianne has to deal with. Behind the scenes skulduggery and madness. Entertaining, devious, easy-to-read, and intense. Highly Recommended.
