With funding problems a nagging issue and completely overshadowing his stay at Hathaway House, Timothy finds it hard to do anything but drive himself forward as fast and as hard as he can—even against doctor’s orders. But he wants to make the most of his time here, and knowing his stay could be rescinded at any moment is an added stress he doesn’t need.
Savannah became a doctor to help people. Her parents were delighted, until she decided that Hathaway House suited her perfectly. Her parents felt she’d shortchanged herself, had taken an easy career instead of a prestigious one—that she wasn’t driven enough to make a success of her life. Maybe they were right, but she was happy, and surely that should count for something.
Seeing Timothy push himself to the extreme, as she gently tries to help him destress, brings up fears on both sides and also a need to help each other find that so-necessary balance in life—and maybe, with luck, find each other.

This series really should be on Hallmark Channel's radar because it's perfect for them. Hathaway House is a place where military vets can go to get the medical treatment and rehab they need, full of kind, caring professionals who are more family than colleagues.
Timothy is an interesting hero, because he’s one who tries too hard and then worries he’s not trying enough. With his funding not allowing for the necessary time to fully heal his leg, that's understandable. But his biggest lesson in his recovery is to pace himself, trust his body, and let progress happen at its ideal pace and not his own. With the help of the director, Dani, the physical therapist, Shane, and the medical doctor, Savannah, Timothy not only works on improving his body but figuring out where to go next with his life.
Savannah may not understand everything her patients are going through, but her kind, compassionate heart and her ability to be patient serve her well. She finds herself intrigued by Timothy and encourages him to focus on the works he can do in the time he has. And if it means they spend some extra time together, well, that's not a bad thing.
This is a quick, entertaining read that I finished in one evening. Captivating and heartfelt, but not too heavy on angst, it's the perfect uplifting, satisfying read for your next romantic reading escape.
Timothy is a severely injured Navy man who is recovering in Hathaway House. Timothy has just started his rehab at this state-of-the-art rehab center. However, when he discovers that his scholarship is only good for four months, he panics. Timothy’s obsessive-compulsive personality cannot accept that he may not be able to finish rehab.
Unfortunately, Timothy’s realization that he may not have enough time to completely heal causes so much stress and terror that it interferes with his exercises and his emotional health. All he does is worry about his fear that he will not heal in time. What will he do then? Will he be able to find a good work? Will anyone want to marry him? These are just a few of the questions that haunt him all day.
Savannah is a doctor who works and lives in Hathaway House. Her personality is the opposite of Timothy. She likes her calm life and has no ambition to deal with the stress of working in a hospital or in private practice. She just likes to help people.
Savannah and Timothy constantly gravitate toward each other. They unknowingly offer each other what they seem to need most. Savannah works hard to calm Timothy down and to help de-stress, Timothy is drawn to Savannah’s gentleness, kindness and her generosity toward everybody.
In the end, Savannah and Timothy help each overcome their fears, their insecurities and their problems.
Another heartwarming story in Dale Mayer's "Hathaway House" series. Timothy Watkins had dallied too long with his application for transfer to Hathaway House Rehabilitation Centre, his best friend Spencer had beaten him too it. When Timothy saw how well Spencer was doing he knew that he needed to join him there Hathaway House is a rehabilitation centre holistically treating military personnel with life changing injuries, their reputation is so good that places are limited. After being accepted Timothy learned that his funding had been cut short, he was only going to have half the time there that he needed. Although this distressed him greatly Timothy was driven, he would have to push himself twice as hard. This scenario worried the staff at Hathaway House, if Timothy pushed himself too hard it would send him backwards, Dani was trying her best to secure further funding but would her best be enough ? Dr Savannah Porter was on Timothy's team, she also had a gruelling work ethic, she had disappointed her father by leaving main stream medicine to work in rehabilitation. Savannah saw a kindred spirit in Timothy and this story follows them both on their journey to life after Hathaway House, of their easy companionship, of their insecurities, of their shared goals to reach their HEA.

This is a story about a Navy Vet.fighting hard to be able to stand, walk and start living his life. When Timothy arrived at Hathaway house he was so happy to be there to do his rehab .He had heard so many success story's that he knew it was where he wanted to be but just as he's about to settle in the paper pushers decide that he shouldn't be there its really messing with his head. The Dani pulls off a miracle an gets him four months they know he needs six months at least but she tells Timothy she will be working on getting him the rest of the time he needs.Dr.Savannah is worried about Timothy because he's pushing himself harder than he should.Savannah and his physical therapist are afraid he will injure himself and it will set him back .Dr Savannah tries to talk to him about it and Sean tries to talk to him also vanities but he's determined to leave as good as four months will allow. Then if Dani can't get him more time at least he will have worked as hard as he could to be better with the time he has.there are sparks between Savannah and Timothy but will they find love? Will Timothy get the extra two months? There are so many twists an turns to this story you will be riveted til the very last page. I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.
Timothy's funding problems are overshadowing his stay at Hathaway House as he concentrates on driving his way forward as hard and fast as he can (even when he is told not to by the doctor). Savannah became a doctor to help people which doesn't delight her parents who feel she shortchanged herself. As Savannah tries to gently help him to destress it brings up fears and so they help each other and find a balance, and maybe each other,
I enjoyed this story with his drive for results from Timothy which could have proved dangerous for his overall health if Savannah hadn't tried to help him relax. They had a great relationship with all of their deep discussions around their feelings and motivations. I did find the ending a little sudden as there was very little conversation about their future that would have led to anything like marriage - I guess I expected a little more intimacy like hand-holding or the occasional kiss. Easy to read, feel and understand.

After much angst and paperwork, Timothy finally gets approval for four months at Hathaway House. They would have preferred six but four is at least a good start.
Now Timothy has to work just a bit harder but instead he pushes just a little too much. Shane calls him out on it and then Dr. Savannah does too.
Dr. Savannah finds herself spending quite a bit of time with Timothy, even though she isn't his primary doctor here. She enjoys his company and they have some pretty deep conversations as he works through his physical and mental issues.
They also have many meals together during which the conversations are more personal.
Getting an extension on his stay at Hathaway House is still foremost in Timothy's mind. He really could use that extra time to become more proficient.
There also seems to be something brewing between him and Savannah.
I love this series so much. Each book details the problems that while on the surface may seem the same, they are as different as the individual with them.
Love, Laughter, Courage and More on every page of this book.
Despite funding issues Timothy actually works really hard on all aspects of his treatment both physically and mentally, it was hard with a shorter deadline hanging over him but I admired how he tried to work with what he had. I liked Savannah she was upbeat and friendly, listened and talked. They were quite a sounding board for each other and gave support when needed. Inspirational as always in this series, the injuries have lasting concerns and the regimes they learn with therapy are to help set them up for maintaining a good lifestyle. Interesting with plenty going on, much of the focus in this is the couple themselves but we get a few animals and other characters like Dani, Shane, Dennis and Spencer from the last book. There were some very deep discussions and some teasing along with banter to balance it all out. Wonderful addition to one of my favourite series, it's so different from anything else.
When Timothy is given the opportunity to try and heal from his injuries at Hathaway House, he is determined to make the most of it. His primary concern is that he will have to leave before he is ready which takes a toll beyond his recovery. While there he meets Savannah and she not only supports him professionally but personally as well.
Savannah became a doctor because it was her calling and not for financial success or prestige. This is why working at Hathaway House is a perfect fit in every way as the residents there are deserving of any help that she can give. Her feelings for Timothy run deeper than the physical and she wants to help thrive not only while he is there but for the rest of their lives.
This is a heartwarming story about love, healing and new beginnings. Timothy and Savannah have always been there to help everyone who needs it and I enjoyed seeing them find the happiness they deserve.
The title doesn't lie. This series is heart warming. Its also based on our vets and the help they truly need in an ideal world. The first book in this series has you wondering why America can't do that, although realistically you know funding can be an issue and that is brought out here in Timothy's book. I appreciate this one had a doctor - patient and I was curious how that would play. I think it was handled well. I always enjoy when all the team members of the the Hathaway House are present and sharing their insight. This is a romance in the GGG rated :) the emotional aspects, building and learning. Thank you for the arc, for another enjoyable read and the thoughts it always provokes! I freely volunteer my thoughts and opinions. #Timothy:AHathawyHouseHeartWarmingRomance #dalemayer #valleypublishingltd #booksprout
I really enjoyed reading Timothy . This is book 20 in the Hathaway House series . Timothy Watkins finally made it to Hathaway House for his rehabilitation . He quickly finds the VA may not let him stay more than the four months they agreed to . The added stress and worry really doesn't help his recovery and pushing himself harder against his medical teams plan could cause a set back . Doctor Savannah Porter Works at Hathaway House she worries about Timothy she spends time with him both trying to destress . Sharing meals and thoughts soon they develope feelings for each other . They work together for their future together . This is a beautiful romance . The characters are fantastic . I highly recommend taking the time to read .

Timothy by Dale Mayer Hathaway House Series Book Twenty Timothy Watkins wasn’t sure he’d be allowed to stay at Hathaway House. Issues with getting his stay passed through. It was, but by now, he’s all stressed out. He feared he’d have to leave, waiting for the word that it was over. So he worked hard. Too hard. Hurting himself rather than helping. Thankfully the staff wasn’t giving up on him. Dr. Savannah Porter had been at Hathaway House for a while. Watching as many of her coworkers found love. She hadn’t. Yet. Something about Timothy pulled on her heartstrings, though. Another heartwarming story from Hathaway House. Where healing begins and ends in love. Not to mention the beautiful animals housed in the clinic connected to it. https://justjudysjumbles.blogspot.com...
Having the run of bad luck, see Timothy fighting to stay at Hathaway. Seeing his mate get in first, seeing the improvement of his mate than getting here himself but nearly kicked out. Working with the administrators, Timothy gets yo stay but on a shorter timeframe which is better than nothing but brings more challenges makes Timothy push himself but blinds him in other areas. Just begore his time is up, Timothy see just how far he has vome and sees him tryinb to workout how to continue when he leaves but someone's else bad luck becomes Timothy's goid luck. The extra time sees Timothy working on his future career and finopens his eyes to see the best thing right in front of him. A chance with a new life partner. A lovely story.
This is a book about the people who need care and the people who care. It is so special to see the response of the Hathaway House's staff to the varied needs of the wounded. Timothy is a fairly new arrival whose funding was temporarily in jeopardy. When the funding is restored to 4 months, he is determined to use this time wisely. Dr Savannah has been helping him. Watching their relationship grow despite challenges is enjoyable. Overcoming odds is addressed repeatedly and much needed in the world today. From the kitchens excellent food to the veterinarian area with recovering animals, this book covers a lot to help us all be better people.

'You can't plan your tomorrow's based on yesterday'
Timothy has had more than a few problems and setbacks, but the biggest problem is the pressure he puts on himself with his own expectations. He allows his insecurities and fears to drive his rehab and hinders rather than helps his progress, forced to reassess he takes a long, hard look at his attitude, his expectations, his future and his feelings. Timothy takes a deep and eye opening journey to self discovery and a number of his realisations will probably hit a little close to home for a lot of readers, fortunately he has Savanna to keep him grounded, focused and to use as a sounding board. A heart wrenching but rewarding journey to recovery and HEA I love this series as it makes us stop and reflect, but also gives hope too.
Timothy has a long way to go before he is considered healed and ready for his new life. I felt encouraged by his determination to get the most out of each rehab session.
I enjoyed Timothy & Savannah’s slow start to a loving relationship, both being aware of each other’s place at Hathaway House and their eventual goals. Savannah recognized Timothy’s need to stay focused on his own health as she keeps tabs on his healing progress.
A sweet and heartfelt story of true grit and determination as well as appreciation of those around you. Great story.
Hathaway House is for severely injured military veterans. A place of caring and extra special healing. Timothy is their latest patient, a guy who wants to walk again, find happiness and love. His stress levels are high due to budgets and the possibility of leaving before he's ready. Dr Savannah is his saviour, she's there to listen and hold his hand. This is a lovely series, all heart felt and no horrible drama. The day to day lives of the staff and patients....and animals in this healing centre.
It's Timothy's turn at Hathaway House but things aren't looking good when his funding is pulled. Savannah is by his side in the hopes that he doesn't push himself to far if his troubles work themselves out. I wasn't keen on Timothy's self doubt and negative views all the time and I know some people are like that but it tools its toll on my. Both characters were really good (despite Timothy's self negative thoughts) and the storyline was great. It shows how something so huge can have a real impact on people. Loved the book overall and can't wait for the next one.
This is number 20 in the Hathaway House series, and each novel is filled with hope, perseverance, and romance. Poor Timothy is stressed out about losing his space at Hathaway House, and it's affecting his recovery. Savannah is one of his doctors, and the two become friends and eventually the friendship moves forward to a romantic relationship. Loved this novel.. every novel in this series has all the feels. Outstanding read!.

I feel for Timothy, he is finally at Hathaway House however his time is limited so the stress and pressure he feels to make the most of the time really impacts him. I also liked how Savannah actually had an idea of what the people at Hathaway House go through due to her past and why she and Timothy build a connection and for them together work together on Timothy's recovery and their future.

Timothy seemed to be a better patient than some they have gotten in, I mean he's determined to get better with the chance he's been given and not bemoaning his circumstances. His only problem is saying what he means and how he wants to say to Dr. Savannah. HEA. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a sweet charming romance with a HEA. Timothy and Savannah were interesting strong characters drawn together. The involvement of the past characters is absolutely 💯 percent on point in each book. Definitely recommend.

Timothy is at Hathaway House but isn't sure how long he will get to stay due to insurance. He throws himself into his recovery. Dr. Savannah tries to slow him down. Their a great match and the book shows how perseverance can win out in the end. Another great installment in the series. I volunteered to read this book via booksprout.
Hathaway House, a place of rehabilitation and a chance at love, based on men and women injured in the line of duty and focusing on their recovery. The recurring background characters are special people too. I am waiting for the story of Dennis to be told, as he is one of my favourite characters in the series.
This is another well written story from one of my favorite authors. The story is interesting and will keep your interest to the very last page. The characters are captivating and well developed. I enjoyed reading and look forward to the next book in this enjoyable series.

Timothy Book 20 of Hathaway House by Dale Mayer. Another truly great book set in this healing / rehab environment. Timothy was hardest on himself whilst trying to beat his reduced funding dilemma. A lesson for all of us in there I’m sure but definitely didn’t take from this delightful story.
Healing is complicated with time running out. Relationship potentials derailed by doubts. Stress is the the complicator for both vet and doctor. The magic of Hathaway House is challenged in this book.

This is the twentieth book in the Hathaway House series and I just loved getting to reenter this amazing world. This book was just a really fun read. I just lost myself in this great story and I didn’t want to put it down. I can’t wait to see what's next from this author.
