One mistaken kiss with my brother’s best friend, and all I can think about is kissing him again.
Nothing would make Leann happier than finding the love of her life. She knows what she wants in a man, but it doesn’t seem to exist in the small town she calls home.
She doesn’t risk her heart easily, either. Especially not after her last serious boyfriend left her when her dad unexpectedly died.
But when she mistakenly enters the wrong blind kissing booth and kisses the wrong man, everything she thought she knew about that man changes.
A blind kissing booth isn’t exactly something Sam would normally do. But when his best friend begs him to take his place, Sam reluctantly agrees.
She shouldn’t have entered Sam’s booth. Leann is his best friend’s sister, which means she’s off-limits. When he realizes who she is, he should have stopped her.
But he doesn’t.
And it’s the best kiss of his life.
Now faced with an unexpected attraction, Sam and Leann struggle to accept their growing feelings for each other. Sam could lose everything if things don’t work out between them—his best friend, his job, and his ability to care for his family. Can Leann prove to him that she’s worth the risk?
Laughing Hearts is a steamy full-length STANDALONE romance filled with lots of sexy times in the bedroom (or next to a campfire), profanity, and love with a HEA ending!

This is a Small Town Cowboy Romance, and this is the fourth book in the Hearts of Watercress Falls series. I have read and reviewed the first three books in this series before I picked up this book, but I do feel you can read this book as a standalone if you wanted to. This is a romance story of Sam and Leann, and Leann's brothers romance stories is the other books in this series. I have to say I love characters in this book, and I really love Sam and Leann. This book shows the love of family, and there is a lot of horses in this book which I loved. I loved that I could feel how much the two main characters love each other. I really cannot wait for the next book in this series because it is going to be the romance of Leann's best friend. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Misadventure Press) or author (Aria Bliss) via Booksirens, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.
OMG I just loved this one!! I love the entire series of this loveable family.
It starts with a kissing booth mistake that ends up being the best decision ever. You’ll love the horses, mountain trails, lake, and camping scene. I can’t imagine anything more beautiful, of course besides the Ocean.
Two hearts that protect themselves from heartache. Can a simple mistake lead to something beyond their wildest most passionate dreams?
Aria Bliss, tells stories of hope, family and romantic love you only find once in a lifetime. Her writing is so easy to escape into because of her scenic views and realistic characters.
Laughing Hearts: A Best Friend's Sister Small Town Romance ~ Hearts of Watercress Falls, #4 by Aria Bliss. Wow-what a start to a new year and the start of this year's challenge:) I have been following this series from the very beginning and am totally in love with it. Just when you think the last book you read was the best to date, along comes Laughing Hearts. I have only read this series of Aria's and am enjoying reading her work, her characters are so true to life you cannot help but fall in love with them. Laughing Hearts is written brilliantly, it's entertaining and I am encouraged by her amazingly real characters facing real-life kinds of struggles. There's depth to Aria's books and I always feel hope when I finish the story. I loved this book and you will too! Highly recommend! Thank you, Aria, this book is amazing and I am looking forward to the next in the series:)
Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review. I love this story, Sam is such a sweetheart! The flow and pace of the story is just well done, and the plot is straight forward, uncomplicated, low angst and believable. It's basically friends to lovers mixed with falling for brother's best friend romance. Both Leann and Sam are likeable characters and are great together. As this standalone is part of a series, you get to see earlier characters in the story too.
A really wonderful and easy to read romance with all the feels and heat. Can't wait to read about Gracie and Parker...think it's going to be hot!

Laughing Hearts is book 4 in the Hearts of Watercress Falls by Aria Bliss. Sam has known Leann for years. She is the sister of his best friend. Entering a blind kissing booth, Leann and Sam share an earthshaking kiss. It changes the way they look at each other.
I like the story and the romance. The book read quickly and does end happily. The plot has no real heavy, dark stuff. It is a romantic, $exy read. Perfect for the Holidays.
Leann makes a mistake and goes into the wrong “blind kissing booth”. She kisses the wrong man because Sam’s best friend begs him to take his place there for the school fundraiser, and Sam agrees.
Leann is Sam’s best friend’s sister. By definition, that makes her off-limits. But he didn’t stop her kiss and it turns out to be the best kiss he ever had. Will they take things further and enter into a relationship? Or will they blindly follow the off-limits rules so they don’t upset anyone (except themselves)?
✔Contemporary romance ✔Small town romance ✔Best friend's sister ✔Secret dating ✔A kind, funny cowboy who will do anything for his family ✔A hopeless romantic heroine who’s a little terrified of falling in love ✔Enough steam, feels and emotional baggage to fill the room ✔Fun cast of supporting – secondary characters that add to the story and development
Kissing You is the forth book in Hearts of Watercress Falls. The writing is powerful, riveting, engaging and invigorating. The storyline is brilliant, well-paced, well-written. Kissing You is a dual POV steamy STANDALONE romance filled with lots of sexy times, laughing, crying, swooning, an unexpected attraction, unable to accept growing feelings and love with a HEA ending. This is Leann and Sam’s story. This one has all the feels and enough emotional baggage. Sam is such a sweetheart, a kind and funny cowboy who will do anything for the people he loves and his family. He is loyal and protective. Sam enjoys his job on the Langdon’s ranch. Leann has withdrawn from relationships since her boyfriend left her during the time she needed him the most, yet, she is a hopeless romantic who’s a little terrified of falling in love. She works with the horses (therapy) on her family’s ranch. It starts with a kissing booth mistake that ends up being the best decision both of them ever made. The flow and pace of the story added to their romance, which is uncomplicated with low angst and believable. Sam and Leann are passionate, swoony and intense and their connection and chemistry sizzling. There were funny scenes as well as touching ones.
If you love a brother’s best friend, secret dating, best friend’s sister, boss’s sister romance about two unsuspecting people finding love where they least expected, then this book is for you.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
This is a great addition to this series. While it a part of a series, you don't really have to read the prior ones to fully enjoy and understand it. Reading the prior ones would be a definite plus though.
Sam and Leann have known each other for a couple of years now. Sam is the foreman on her family's ranch, plus he is best friends with one of her brothers.
It isn't until Leann is coerced into taking part of a blind kissing booth that the two finally take notice. She doesn't want to partake as kissing a stranger, even on the cheek, grosses her out, but one of her BFFs gives her a ticket. A guy she went out with once or twice says he will be in a certain booth so she wouldn't be kissing a random strange after all plus the money goes to a good cause. Leann reluctantly agrees. Sam is coerced into being a part of the blind kissing booth as his BFF's wife would object.
There were some really funny scenes here as well as some really touching ones. Also a word of caution as there are so sexy ones as well. They are not too overly graphic in nature.
I loved have the dual POV format. It really helps me to connect to the characters so much better. I adored Sam and the way he generally deals with a situation. He is a wonderful male protagonist. I just adored him. This is more of a HFN ending and not the HEA that I generally love so I hope to see some weddings here in the future.
Kissing You is a sweet and spicy, emotional romance set in the small town of Watercress Falls and is part of the series about the Langdon family. This book centers around Leann Langdon, a horse trainer at the family ranch, and Sam Clark, the foreman at the ranch. Sam is also the best friend of Leann’s brother, Joseph. Both Leann and Sam get pressured into participating in the kissing booth fundraiser. Joseph convinces Sam to take his place as a kisser. Gracie, Leann’s best friend, talks her into being kissed, and she happens to go into the booth that Sam is working. That kiss is the catalyst for the story. It ignites a passion in Sam and Leann that surprises them, and the rest of the story is about the impact of that kiss and what they do about it.
This was a great story! It was my first book from Aria Bliss, and it definitely will not be my last. This book was number four in the series and can be read as a standalone. It was so good that now I want to read the rest of the series. The book had great world and character building. Both Leann and Sam are complex characters, and Ms. Bliss delves into those layers. The story is so well written that readers can feel the emotions dripping off the characters. I enjoyed the engaging plot, and it kept me interested until the end. There was just enough spice that you may need to get a glass of cold water to cool down. I definitely recommend this book!
Sam and Leann have worked together for a couple years ever since he took over as foreman on her family's ranch. All it takes is one incendiary kiss in a blind kissing booth to force both of them to take a second look at each other. I loved that it only took one simple moment in time to open their eyes to the truth that's staring them in the face.
Sam's life is hectic, with his injured father, overworked mother, and three sisters who still need every kind of support. Leann's been hurt before and doesn't want to risk another heartbreak, but there's something different about Sam and soon she finds she's willing to take the chance.
I loved the way these two work together, and how cautious they were with their blossoming romance. I appreciated that the "misunderstanding" late in the book wasn't drawn out, but resolved reasonably quickly with solid communication. I especially loved the scene where she "introduces" him to her mother - that was a beautifully written payoff for a lovely relationship between Sam and Rosie.
This is another easy-to-love romance in this marvelous series from an author who is quickly becoming one of my top ten favorites. Highly recommended. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Leann isn’t really interested in dating right now. She is very focused on getting her summer camp up and running. When her friends guilt her into buying a ticket to a kissing booth its supposed to be Korbin on the booth who she dated a few times but has not chemistry with, but it turns out to be her brothers’s best friend and ranch hand, Sam, and their kiss is like nothing either has ever experienced before. Even though Sam is now seeing Leann in a new light, he is the main breadwinner in his family since his father was injured and he doesn’t want anything that might risk his job, and having a failed relationship with is boss and best friends little sister seems like a bad idea. Even after trying to avoid each other, they ultimate decide to secretly see where their attraction might lead. But secrets never stay secrets
This was a wonderful book in the series. I was excited to keep reading just to see how they would navigate revealing to the entire town and Leann’s family about their relationship. I enjoyed reading Leann and Sam’s love story and I loved the ending. It was slightly unexpected and that made the HEA all the more satisfying.

I really enjoyed this friends to lovers small town romance. It's the fourth book in the series but the first one I have read, and you don't need to have read the others to read this book.
Sam works with Joseph and Joseph is Leann's big brother. They all run a horse ranch and Leann and Sam have never considered each other as more than friends. But then Memorial Day comes along, there's a kissing booth and they kiss. (BTW - Kissing Booths. Happy to see COVID hasn't killed this romantic trope like it has in real life!) . Fireworks that have nothing to do with Memorial Day happen and they both can't forget it.
There's plenty of steam interspersed with some really sweet moments and a bit of drama (but not too much) so it's an enjoyable light read. The only thing I'll say is that I found Leann's friend Grace a little grating, so I feel some trepidation about reading the next book, which looks like it will be about her. However, the Bonus Scene at the end of this book helped me to like her a bit more, and the author's writing style is good, so I will stick with the series.
This is the fourth book in the watercress falls series. It can be read as a stand alone.
I've read the previous books in the series, and enjoyed them.
True love can be right in front of you, but you won't see it till the right time. Leanne & Sam are great, I love them as a couple, and they story is enjoyable.
After being roped into a blind kissing booth by her best friend Gracie, leanne ends up kissing a guy she believes she knows, they both really enjoy the kiss and get a little carried away. Leanne is shocked to see the guy she thought she was kissing walking into the booth as she walks out, but she's even more shocked when she finds out who she kissed.
They both have their own issues to deal with and overcome, and it's enjoyable reading how they do that and their love story blossoms and unfolds. Cowboys / girls, horses, ranches, small town love, beautiful scenery. Can't wait to read the next book.

Is it truly possible that I've already finished book four in the Watercress Falls series by Aria Bliss? I’m happy to say, I am!
Sam and Leann’s story was lower key, but I enjoyed it… the ending especially. All these brothers and sisters and family members falling in love! I’m happy to have read this advance review copy.
Leann has a reputation as a kiss ‘em and leave ‘em type of girl, But she’s been hurt in the past and I do admire her philosophy of ‘why bother if there’s no spark?’. It’s something we as women should all adhere to. Trying to make yourself fall in love with someone is most often not very rewarding.
Sam is a man who doesn’t trifle with women. He only dates women whom he feels there is a chance. So, in that regard they are alike.
The book is not filled with the same kind of fire and emotion the other three have had, but the confusion and drama at the end makes up for it in spades.
One more book to read in this series (so far)... Book five could be a hot one. And hello, single daddy!
Kissing booths? Who needs them? Leann gets talked into going into the kissing booth. She thinks it’s just going to be a peck on the cheek with an ex boyfriend. But the kiss she receives scorches her her fingers and sets her heart racing. When she runs from the booth smack into the ex outside, who was she just kissing!?! Sam? Sam our foreman of two years that I’ve worked next daily and my brothers best friend! What do we do now? I would like to explore this thing but will Sam? Sam got talked into filling in at the kissing booth and boy is he glad he did. Wow that was some kiss. I can’t believe I’ve overlooked the girl I’ve worked next to for the few years. I’m definitely seeing her now. How can I pursue this electricity between us and not potentially lose my best friend and my job? I have to figure this out because living without Leann next to me is not an option. I really enjoyed Sam and Leann’s chapter of the Langdon bunch. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Timing is everything but you have to be ready to accept what’s offered. Sam is a huge romantic and a totally sweet guy but he’s used to just putting his head down and working because he feels great responsibility for caring for his parents and sisters and they are very important to him. Leann had been deeply hurt years ago but kept it to herself and instead had gotten the reputation of being flighty and “love ‘em and leave ‘em” because she only dates a guy a few times, when in reality she WANTS to find love but is horribly afraid of putting her heart out there and getting hurt again. Sam offers his heart so bravely and it takes a long time for Leann to truly give her heart in return. I thought her brother Joe was kind of horrible to her when he finds out - especially for someone who had kept a HUGE secret of his own for years! Lots of angst and steam and all the feels (and a few tears). Good story.

Book Sirens sent me an advance review copy of “Laughing Hearts” by Aria Bliss, the fourth installment in a small town romance series called Hearts of Watercress Falls, in return for an honest review. I enjoyed the first books in this series and was looking forward to reading another sequel.
Laughing Hearts is a small town romance. It is well written and the characters are true to life, dealing with things every one of us could be dealing with. The story is reasonably fast-paced and has a well-defined plot. It's really a friends to lovers story, where the girls falls in love with her brother's best friend. She has an overbearing mother who thinks she might be left on the shelf (as if being single means not having a fulfilling life) and he is struggling with family responsibilities.
I really like Bliss’ writing style and storytelling. I would have given the book 3.5 stars, but because I think this was just a little slip and 3.5 stars is not possible, I opted for 4 stars.
Leann and Sam work at the ranch her family runs and he is a best friend of her brother Joe. Ever since the kissing booth event they have been secretly getting to know each other. Things are going very well and they are about to tell the family about them dating, when he does not show up for her birthday party. Very upset, she and her friends go to their house and get drunk. Sam did not show because he found her horse caught in barbed wire and badly injured, got the horse to her brother Matt, a vet, and then stayed all night. The characters are wonderful, and the locale is picturesque. The storyline had drama, surprises, miscommunications, romance, secrets, and much more. Loved their fun situations and chemistry as well as her clueless mothers reaction to who her boyfriend was. The ending was perfect.

Kissing You by Aria Bliss is a small-town romance. It’s the fourth book from the Hearts of Watercress Falls series.
This is about Leann Langdon and Sam Clark. The story is very romantic and captivating. It has a mix of a few tropes, best friend’s sister, work together, boss/employ. Even though the characters have known each other for a while after a kiss there was an undeniable attraction between them. Their relationship progressed at a quite fast pace but not without a little bit of drama. I liked how realistic everything was with their everyday problems and commitment issues. I loved the family vibe and how close the friends were. My favorite parts were their first trip and when they announced their relationship.
My only issue was with how Leann was treated by her brothers, I mean I get their reasoning but I still didn’t like it.
I enjoyed reading this book and I highly recommend it.
What a sweet and romantic story! Sam is the foreman at Leann’s family farm and was convinced to cover a blind kissing booth at a local fair for Leeann's brother. Leann, thinking that it was manned by a friend of hers, decided to go to his booth. What a surprise when she was given the most amazing kiss of her life by Sam. When she left the booth, she turned around and saw Sam standing outside. They'd known one another for two years and neither one noticed the other until that moment.
They eventually act on their attraction and start seeing each other secretly because he doesn't want to risk his job and his friendship with Leeann's older brother. Leeann is hesitant in the beginning because she was hurt in a prior relationship but Sam's dedication to her is consistent. He is every woman's dream. Aria Bliss' description of Sam is swoon worthy!

Laughing Hearts was my favorite story so far in the Hearts of Watercress Falls series. This entire series has been written as read alone stories, but is even better when you are able to follow the characters through. This particular story was spot on for me, as I married my brother's friend.
Sam and Leann have been friends for years and important in each other lives since they work together. But a by-chance meeting in a kissing booth changes their lives forever. Who would have thought volunteering or supporting your local school fundraiser could have such a drastic change in your life. We watch Sam and Leann deal with finding new love, family concerns, and how to balance old hurts. In the end, life works out for their happily ever after and the ride is worth every turn.
I received an ARC copy of this book and am leaving an honest review.
Thank you to Author Aria Bliss and BookSirens for providing me with an ARC for not only this book, but the first 5 in the Watercress Falls series. All opinions shared are my own.
I was SO excited for FMC Leann Langdon to get her chance at love! As the final Langdon sibling to find love in the series, we've gotten to know her character quite well in past books and I love the way that the timeline for some books has a slight overlap. It's fun to see the same event from the point of view of a different character.
Sam was the perfect MMC and I love that he's already considered part of the Langdon family as Joe's best friend and the ranch's main employee. He's a real salt of the earth, man of integrity and his steady reliability was the perfect match for Leann's wild side. Their first 'sparks fly' moment was a fun concept and I loved that it was their little secret. As always, brilliant 🔥 scenes and I read the book SO quickly!
Kissing You is ook 4 of the Watercress Falls series by Aria Bliss. Leann is the sister of Adam, Matt and Joseph. She was abandoned by her first boyfriend when she needed him the most, right after her Dad passed away. So she doesn't trust men. Sam is the foreman of the ranch and best friend of Joseph. Leann and Sam have worked together for over 2 years and never noticed each other romantically. That is until he takes over for Joseph in the kissing booth at the festival. Leann enters the booth and kisses Sam. They both feel the instant attraction but don't really know what to do with it. Sam and Leann keep their relationship a secret from everyone until they know that they are meant to be together. I highly recommend this book to all romance readers.

A page turning read involving secrets and love in plain sight. Our heroine Leann has had her heart broken by her first love and the death of her father. She has a great family, but she has an overbearing mother who worries that she is getting older and hasn't found love yet. Our hero Sam is dealing with lots of family responsibilities. Leann and Sam have worked together for several years, but a chance secret kiss bring them together in ways unexpected.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. The author suggested reading the first book in the series prior to reading this book. I agree with this suggestion as it provided a better understanding of the family dynamics.
I can imagine every woman wants a Sam of their own: good looking, responsible, likes cuddling… But Sam can´t risk losing his job after his father´s health decline he is the one supporting the family. Leann has a record of relationships gone bad, why should she think things would work out fine with Sam? Isn´t it safer to leave things the way they are instead of ruining a good coworker and brother´s best friend relationship? Taking risks is never anything we look forward to, but if the prize is spending the rest of your life with the person you are destined to be with giving it a try should be a no brainer. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This is the fourth book in the Rush Creek Ranch series. It can be read as a standalone but you will come across previous characters and will have some spoilers to books 1-3. Its fast paced, steamy, entertaining and I believe it a great addition to the series. Leann and Sam's story is a little bumpy. Sam has a full plate taking care of his family, he needs the job working for Leann's family ranch and to top it all off Leann is his best friend/boss’s younger sister. Leann has a long-standing past of running from commitment. She never dates the same guy for more than a few dates before she dumps them but things between her and Sam feel different.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Leann is the last of her siblings to be single. Sam works on his best friend's ranch, who is also Leann's brother. They work together and have for a couple of years. They have a good working relationship but neither have thought of the other in a romantic way. Neither really date either. But then they kiss in a blind kissing booth fundraiser. Everything changes between them. They were so wonderful together, I couldn't help but fall in love with them also. Such a sweet story with two people that deserve to finally find love. They have their struggles, but it only makes them stronger in the end.
*I am leaving an honest and voluntary review after receiving this book as an ARC.
I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the final book in the Hearts Of Watercress Falls series. Sam and Leann have known each other, been friends and worked together for a while. His best friend is also her brother, which complicates things. The kissing both set into motion a connection that surprises them both. The story has its share of drama, doubts and family but really is about their growing relationship. These two were perfect for each other and had a lot of chemistry. I thought it was well written and I really liked the characters.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is such a feel-good romance. I loved how Sam and Leann got together. They have been working side by side at her family ranch where he is the foreman and has become her brother’s best friend during the two years he's worked there, but one kiss in the Memorial Day blind kissing booth, sparks fly and everything changes. Things suddenly become awkward, until they acknowledge the chemistry between them, and let what's smoldering burn hot! There's some tension as they settle into their new relationship, some smoking hot sex scenes, and one drama filled night, all adding to an interesting, heartwarming story about these two finding each other. Enjoyable read.
