Rogue can charm the pants off anyone, but can he catch a man who might as well be a ghost?

Eight seconds on a bull was never as scary as falling for a man who might disappear any second. I might have left the rodeo to work my brother’s ranch, but I never lost my taste for danger… and I’ve never met anyone more dangerous than Special Agent Ghost.

My overprotective brothers warned me away from him, but I’ve never been one to take good advice. When Ghost and I came together, it was explosive… and also healing.

We both have secrets, and neither of us ever thought we’d find comfort like we have in each other’s arms, but he doesn’t know how to stick around, and I’ve never learned how to let someone love me.

Unsure how long the fire between us will burn, we keep our relationship hidden until the day when an enemy’s bullet shatters the hidden world we’ve created. Now we’ll both have to make a choice: to keep hiding our true selves or put our cards on the table and fight for the future we want… together.

Paradise Ranch runs a successful breeding program, but it’s also a safe house, for outlaws.
In the first two books, we understand Grant and his two brothers Rhys and Rogue run a Ranch slash safehouse. The first book was about Grant and his lover Jacob, the second was about Rhys and TJ, and this one is about Rogue and Ghost.
Years back, when Grant and Rhys escaped their cruel father by joining the Marines, Rogue escaped and entered the world of bull riding. Now they are together again.

When Ghost, a former Marine, is on a mission and has to contact Grant, his eyes are on Rogue. The man is gorgeous.
Secretly, because Grant and Rhys can never know, they meet and have a super hot one-night. The bodily connection is already strong and now they are also emotionally getting stronger, they share things no one knows. Until a bullet from the enemy hits and Ghost does what he’s best at, vanishing like a ghost.

Rough, tough men, who at all costs protect the ones they love. Hot encounters, caveman attitude, and action are what you can expect. Emotions are mostly at bay until the heart gets involved. Rogue and Ghost are lovable, and of course, we meet the other overprotective brothers and their partners again. The installments are seamlessly connected and get more pleasurable because the characters are getting familiar. The writing is consistent throughout the whole series.
I enjoyed this one, it’s not too complicated, you can sit, read and enjoy the ride, without breaking your head or heart too much.

I just loved Ghost and Rogue. They were so swoony. I knew there would be some heat with these two based on interactions in the previous book, but dang, they were hot together.

Ghost was well on his way to burnout when he met Rogue. Forced to make choices he never wanted to in his life, he didn’t have much direction other than following orders. Rogue made him question everything in the very best way. Rogue was always looked at as the mess up, never really being seen for who he truly was. Ghost did that and more. Together they were so sincere and heartfelt. Ghost had a lot of demons to face and makes a decision I wanted to strangle him for. But after rectifying that mistake, he makes up for it in spades.

This book was delightful. I am really enjoying this series. We also get to met Blade, the reclusive and traumatized friend of Grant. I cannot wait for his story.

I’m really enjoying this series! The couples are all very unique and I love all the danger and intrigue. This is another compelling couple, I’ve been interested in Rogue’s story since book one and it was a fun read. One of my favorite aspects of the series is reliving certain events from the different characters perspective, it’s very cleverly done. Rogue and Ghost are super spicy together, I loved the instant attraction they had. The story and plot keeps you on your toes. I love having so many characters with a “fuzzy sense of morality” and tons of secrets because it makes this series so engaging and gripping. I especially appreciate how the mystery grows and changes book to book, it is very good story telling. I can’t wait for Blade’s story next!

The Texas Safehouse series continues to be enjoyable with a great combination of love and danger. In this book, we finally learn more about the Ghost, who was seen briefly in the previous book. Ghost has served in the Marines with some of the previous MCs. In this one, he is on a mission with the FBI to work on assignment with the Safehouse.

When he sees Rogue, one of the brothers and an ex-rodeo participant, the attraction between the two men is electric. Still, Ghost isn't planning to be in the area more than a few weeks and Rogue has a difficult time trusting. When they first hook-up, they realize that the chemistry between them is unlike anything they have experienced before. They engage in some primal play and light BDSM. They each privately wish for something more than a passing encounter, but obstacles occur and danger lurks. This book has action, excitement, camaraderie between friends and family, and a powerful love.

A man from his brothers’ past will be his future

I loved this book! It’s back to the ranch for Riley “Rogue”’s story. He will find his match in a man called Ghost, who served with his brothers Grant and Rhys. Now Ghost is working with the FBI and he’s in town working to take down the Russo family. Both men are haunted by things in their past but the chemistry between the two is off the charts from the moment they set eyes on each other. There is plenty of danger to go along with the steam, sass and love that happens on the ranch but in the end, Ghost will face his fears and find forever in Rogue’s arms.

I read an ARC copy of this book and am volunteering my honest review.

These two were really sweet underneath all the spice. I really enjoyed Rogue and Ghost as this story was happening at the same time as Rhys and TJ. I love how even though two stories are happening at once, the author is able to write it so you are not re-reading the same chapter from a previous book. You definitely need to read at least the book before this but this is best read in order.

This was cute. There were moments where the story took turns I didn't expect but what I loved about it was that no matter what happened, Rogue and Ghost never did the break up thing that authors do when they can't write good enough to make a breakup realistic.

I think I will forever read MM due to the maturity of the characters.

This is an excellent series with lots of SMUT

I’ve been eagerly looking forward to Ghost and Rogue’s story and it was so worth the wait.

These two were crazy hot together. At one point, I was biting my nails like crazy - talk about tense and stressful.

Absolutely fantastic!

The Rogue by Silvia Violet is the 3rd book in her Texas Safehouse series. You really need to read the previous books to understand the backstories of the characters as well as the continuing story line because they are an integral part of this book. Rogue is one of the owners of Paradise Ranch along with his brothers Grant and Rhys. He was part of the bull riding rodeo circuit and his brothers were marines when they joined together to buy the ranch. Their father was part of a Mafia group and Rogue had gotten involved in that to earn money to buy the ranch but then he wanted out. Unfortunately one of the members still contacted him when they needed something done. Ghost was serving with Grant and Rhys when the FBI wanted him and he disappeared, hence his name. The ranch was being used as a safehouse for some unscrupulous people so it was being watched. Ghost was on assignment and needed some information from Grant. That was how he and Rogue met and there was an instantaneous attraction between the two of them. The story continues as they get to know one another, each believing it could only be a one-time thing, but then finding they couldn’t stay away from each other. Meanwhile there was a lot going on with the investigation that included some Mob stake-outs, some shootings, and some hiding out. It also involved Rogue and Ghost figuring out a way that they could be together and have their happy ending. I have enjoyed all the books in this series. The characters are complex and each has a sad backstory that made them the men they are today. The side characters also added to the story, and if you read the previous books, you understand where they are coming from as they both help and hinder Rogue and Ghost. There was a lot of action involved in the plot, some of it quite graphically portrayed, that kept you on the edge of your seat wondering what would happen next and if they could make it out of the situations they were in. There were also many hot love scenes between them. I highly recommend this book, especially if you like a lot of action and some suspense, and I am looking forward to reading the next one in the series.

The Rogue is Silvia Violet’s third book in the Texas Safehouse series. This is a standalone book that could be read by itself but I highly recommend reading the first two books in the series. The Rogue is Riley’s or “Rogue’s” book. Rogue left his career as a professional bull rider to run a safe house and horse ranch with his brothers Grant and Rhys. Rogue is a prominent character in the other books in the series so I was thrilled that he got his own book.
The Rogue tells the story of Rogue and his relationship with FBI agent Ghost, who is also introduced previously in the series. Even though we are introduced to both of these characters in other books, you do not really know them at all until you read this book. I loved the depth of character and emotions that Rogue has in the story. His relationship with Ghost is filled with explosive chemistry but also a building of trust and nurturing between two strong characters.
I loved this book. I was happy to see some new characters introduced for future books. One thing I enjoyed a lot in this book was seeing different viewpoints on things that happened in previous books. It is interesting to see how the same meeting felt for four different people in three different books. Silvia Violet writes relationships so well. It doesn’t matter if they are families, friends, or lovers. Silvia writes dialogue and relationships so you know the characters care about each other and how they are feeling and what they are thinking. I have enjoyed every book in this series and I am looking forward to the next one.

Third book in the series, and I'm still hooked on it! Rogue is an ex rodeo star working with his brothers at Paradise Ranch which is both a working ranch and a safehouse for mafia and other criminals who need protection from a threat. Ghost is an FBI agent who used to be in the marines under Rogue's brother Grant's command. Ghost comes to the ranch to help out with a complicated situation, and he meets Rogue. The fireworks start immediately. Neither thinks they are whole enough to be in a relationship but figure a good time might be worth it. Even though both Grant and Rogue's twin Rhys warn Ghost to stay away from their youngest brother who they still view as immature and needing to be protected, it doesn't keep Rogue and Ghost apart from each other. It's new ground for both of them to care for someone and open up to another person. They also face a lot of dangerous situations and the two have to learn how to maneuver those and deal with their fear of losing each other or seeing the other person get hurt. If I had to choose, I would say what I loved most about this book was the main characters and their interactions and development as people throughout the story. There is something utterly romantic about two people opening up to each other and letting their insecurities show as they get to know each other and commit to each other.

This is the third book in the Texas Safehouse series and I was looking forward to it since I read the first book. Unfortunately I didn't yet read TJ and Rhys' book but even if I recommend to read them in order, it didn't take too much away.
Rogue, who previously was involved with the Mafia, lives with his brothers on their ranch to breed and train horses. He is mainly involved in the animal husbandry side of things while Grant and Rhys run the protection service for those unfortunate bad guys that need to hide for an unforeseeable time.
Right from the first book I got the vibe of insta-attraction between Rogue and Ghost, who has history with Grant. So when Ghost sticks around after book one and gets finally involved with Rogue in one of the hottest ways I have been reading about in a while I was turning the page as fast as I could to find out what happens next.
Of course, insta-attraction turns to more and both Rogue and Ghost aren't keen to televise their relationship, especially not to Rogue's brothers or Ghost's superiors. With all the secrecy they have miscommunications but they manage to acknowledge and communicate, so it is all really low angst.
I found myself cheering for those two and their HEA.
It is entertaining and I recommend it.

For Rogue eight seconds on the back of a bull was not as scary as falling for a man who might disappear any second and there is no one more dangerous than Special Agent Ghost. His brothers warned him away from him but when they came together it was explosive and strangely healing. Both men have secrets and never thought they could have the comfort that they find in each other's arms. Can Ghost learn to stick around and can Rogue learn how to let someone love him? They keep their relationship hidden until an enemy's bullet shatters their hidden world - they now have to choose to keep hinging their true selves or fight for the future they want together.

I really enjoyed this story with the man who could disappear into thin air and the man who hid behind a brash exterior but was actually quite quiet and sensitive. This was a story of passion, strength of feelings and determination. I was so pleased that Rogue was able to give Ghost the time to sort himself out in return he was the one to raise an alarm when there was trouble. There were a few deep discussions in this story as well as a lot of emotions discussed between the two men. This was easy feel, read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

This is the third book in the Texas Safehouse series. I think that you really need to read them in order to fully enjoy them and understand who is who. This is the story of Rogue and Ghost. Rogue works at the Paradise Ranch with his brothers Grant and Rhys and their significant others. He enjoys the work but sometimes gets tired of being the only unattached member of the group. Ghost is an ex marine that served with Grant and Rhys. He is now FBI and working undercover to break up a drug ring. He goes to Grant for help and lays on the most beautiful man he has ever seen - Rogue. Grant of course doesn't want Ghost, who is known for fading away and not staying anywhere, anywhere near his brother. But the chemistry between Rogue and Ghost is off the charts. Nothing is going to get in their way of being together except themselves. This is their story. It is very well written and easy to read. And for those looking for heat, there is lots of it here. A great read. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

This is the 3rd book in this Texas Safehouse series and it's just as intense as the 1st two. Ghost has lived up to his name in both the Marines and when being pulled reluctantly into the FBI ranks. Now he must infiltrate the Safehouse realm to snoop on 3rd brother Rogue. Little did he count on Rogue's magnetism. Ghost is inexorably drawn to Rogue as much as Rogue is to Ghost. Each has familial tragedies that have weighed heavy on their souls but, at least, Rogue had his brothers Grant and Rhys, for emotional support BUT Ghost had only himself. Their draw to each other is intensely erotic, their mob problems are as intense though on a more realistic playing level of death. "X" is always present; throwing in his expertise; as always in all of these stories. An interesting secondary character who is introduced towards the last chapters is another Marine survivor named Blade who Ms. Violet hints at Blade's story to come in the near future. A very satisfying read for me and a 3rd with these two getting a much-deserved HEA. This is my voluntary review.

This is book 3 of the Texas Safe House Series and this one follows Rogue, Rhys twin, who left his rising career as a rodeo star to work a ranch with his brothers after their discharge from the Marines. FBI Agent Ghost is someone from Grant and Rhys past, who they warn Rogue not to get mixed up with, that he has a knack for disappearing. What they don’t know is the secrets behind his disappearances. These two are drawn together since they first meet. You gets some spicy scenes in some very farmish spaces 🔥 but one shot changes everything and someone does what they do best and disappears.

Favorite things:
🌈I’ve love the twin connection Rhy and Rogue have, I have since the beginning.
🌈How assertive and take charge Jacob has become since book one.
🌈Cowboys & Marines

We get the whole family in this one Grant and Jacob and Rhys and TJ always being the over protective big brothers that they are. And finally we get to meet the mystery man moving into the cabin on the property, Blade a POW, that is still recovering and we learn a little bit about the man and it sets us up for book 4.

The Rogue is the third book in the Texas Safehouse series. This is Riley/Rogue and Ghost’s story. Riley is a twin with Rhys, Rhys can read Rogue’s mind to the point he knows when his brother is going to do something stupid. Rogue’s brothers treat him like a child at times, they don’t act like he’s a grown man and that kind of makes him reckless. He’s a champion bull rider and has made mistakes that come back to bite him. Ghost is FBI and was once one of Grant and Rhys’s teammates in the military. He makes an appearance in The Reaper and has immediate and instant connection and chemistry with Rogue. Ghost is tired of taking orders. He helps rogue clean up some of his past but still has one more item that he needs to take care of. These two were fire together! I love this whole series, sooo freakin good. Overall, a fantastic read!! Well written with pacing that is addicting and kept me flipping the pages!

Rogue and Ghost were fantastic together

I am loving this series. I really adore the way Silvia manages to write such complicated and endearing characters. Rogue and Ghost were explosive from the start. When they first met I knew there was something there and I’m so glad that they managed to find their HEA together. There’s a lot going on in this book - we get plenty of action as well as getting to see Ghost and Rogue fall for each other. I love when the action really gets you excited and wondering what will happen next and that definitely was the case here. There were a few moments I wanted to shake Ghost but I think that really adds to the story. When your into a book enough to want to really give the characters a shake you know your hooked. Plus I love when characters aren’t perfect; people screw up or make bad decisions or try and get it wrong. The important part is when they work to fix it. All in all an excellent addition!

This new series is on a horse ranch & it's a safe house. It's interlocked with 3 other series (The Marchesi Family,Vigilance & The Theriot Family). I found it easier to read in order, and characters & stories are all woven together. 📚
Rogue & Ghost, Rogue is Rhyss twin & younger brothers to Grant. The story continues on the ranch & we learn more of Ghost loads of action, love & spice! 🤠❤️🌶️

Choices

I believe Rogue is my favorite of the brothers and it’s because he is so selfless and thoughtful with all his actions. It breaks my heart how hardly anyone knows the extent of what he’s done. Well, not anymore as now he has Ghost in his life, and I’m cheering because this man is gonna make sure Rogue takes care of himself.

“I’d never had anyone I could really count on. I’d never even felt like anything—much less anyone—was truly mine, but this man… I needed him like I needed air.”

Heart eyes, these two. I enjoyed how spicy they are together but I loved watching them lower their walls and trust each other. Even when inner turmoil reared its nasty nature, Rogue and Ghost fought in their own ways for their love. I’m loving this family and can’t wait for the next adventure at Paradise Ranch.

4.5 Stars!

I devoured this book. Rogue is a favorite of mine in this series. He may come off as irresponsible, but he puts everyone one else first. His family is only beginning to see the man that he has become, but Ghost sees him clearly. The connection between Ghost and Rogue was strong from the beginning, but getting these two to admit it took some work. With their pasts, trusting someone else that deeply would be difficult at best. There were some great action scenes in this story, and I'm glad that both Ghost and Rogue were able to deal with some of their pasts and move forward. I liked that Grant and Rhys were there for Rogue when he needed them and eventually accepted Ghost and Rogue's relationship. I loved seeing Jacob and TJ again and seeing them put their two cents into situations. I am seriously intrigued by Blade, and I can't wait for his book.

The heat between Rogue and Ghost was utterly scorching! Nothing of a surprise there from Silvia Violet. Her books always pack the heat, bring out all the feels, and show brilliant character development - the main characters, and the supporting characters from the previous books. I loved this book so much. In fact, it might be my favorite in this series. I'm not sure why I thought this was the final book in the Texas Safehouse series, but I am so excited that it's not. In the previous books, I already had a soft spot for Rogue. I just knew he had layers. And Ghost, it was hard to imagine him being comfortable expressing more tender feelings, but with Rogue, they seemed to come easy. Their story was beautiful and exciting. A 5 star read for me. Now, I can't wait for the audiobook!

I received an ARC for an honest review. I highly recommend this book, along with the entire series.

It a must read, the different scenes, the action pack, and the heated scenes!!! OMG!!🥵If you haven’t read the installments, go back and start with book one !! You have to catch up!! 4.5 Stars rounded up to 5

I have been waiting for Rogue’s story since we first met him, and I was not disappointed. Rogue is so strong but so sweet. He hides his true self from everyone, but he can’t hide anything from Ghost.

Ghost is known for disappearing but he can’t disappear from Rogue’s life. The first time he saw Rogue he knew he needed him in his bed asap. Once their together they don’t know how to be apart. They have incredible chemistry and are so good together.

Their story is steamy, sweet, with some good angst thrown in. We get to learn more about their individual history and that adds so much to the story. I will definitely be reading this book again.

I did receive a free ARC of this book but that did not influence my review.

This was another terrific story set on Paradise Ranch and I loved Rogue and Ghost together. Ghost was forced to work for the FBI after leaving the military and had a habit of leaving. Rogue became a bull rider and disappointed his twin Rhys and older brother Grant. He earned the money to help them and also did work the Carlottis though he hated it. Ghost does not think he could stay at the ranch and it was amusing how he was afraid of the horses and I loved how Rogue taught him to ride which certainly came in handy later when they needed to get away and Ghost was able to jump and get on the horse behind Rogue just like the movies. Ghost was hurt getting away from thugs and badly hurt his foot and Rogue took care of him. When Rogue was later shot Ghost felt terrible and left but did come back. Looking forward to more stories.

Not a Ghost of a chance

We are back on Paradise Ranch where Grant, Rhys, and Rogue are working hard to take care of criminals who are brought there to hide out.

Rogue has just met a FBI agent by the name of Ghost who he finds very intriguing. Ghost feels the same way about him. They start a no strings attached affair, one that Rogue's brothers can't find out about or Ghost may not live. Ghost used to be in the marines with Grant and Rhys until he disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

They are both scared of what they feel for each other and it causes some miscommunications.

The story is full of intrigue and romance and will they or won't they. Will Ghost settle down with Rogue or will he disappear again?

Out of this series Rogue and Ghost are my favorite . A twin brother to Rhys ,Rogue has always tried to keep his feelings close but because he’s a twin his brother can sense something. Ghost a formal Marine and now FBI agent made it no secret that Rogue is who he wants and will not stop at nothing to make him his . This fast paced MM drama takes place on Paradise Island a range in Texas serving as a safe house for those the police will not protect. Rogue and Ghost are falling fast for one another and Rogue is scared that the man he is falling for will leave because he that what he does . Chaos and Danger is headed their way. Looking forward to the next installment as Grant and team has a new person on the ranch Blade the Recluse ……

Rogue and Ghost are two very different men with a lot going on! Rogue is home from the rodeo helping to run the Safehouse when Ghost arrives on the scene! These two are instant fire, you can just feel it. Rogue is the kind of man who always puts his family, especially his brothers first. Ghost is about to change that up. Ghost pretty much just has himself and a lot of secrets. Loved reading about these two burning up the pages, but actually learning to trust and fight for what they really want in the process. Tons and I mean tons of family, secrets and action going on the entire time as well!
