I almost gave up on this book, Mr. Bentley! There is so much about soccer that I don't know, and there were pages and pages of detailed moves during games. However, I persevered because I knew that the overall story would be exciting. It is about match-rigging in soccer/football games. Good story.

Loved this! Mind you, I like most of this guy's books. I enjoy his style. This one featured the English football captain and gave an insight into the world of professional football that seemed pretty realistic to a female who knows nothing about it. Lots of witty one-liners, a good, solid plot featuring match fixing and a satisfying ending.

Hope we see more of the same.
