I wish this book had more pictures so I could see exactly how each cookie should be shaped, but this is a good introduction to the Italian cookie tray.
It's clear that Maria, Sweet as she is, can't be bothered to pick up a camera. There are NO pictures of her wares. The authority is there...just not the visuals. All recipes here seem "time honored." This is what saves the book from getting a lower rating.
