An ok book. Most of the 3 stars is for the artwork which is great. This is straight after the Agent Red Human Target. The story is a pretty basic spy, search and destroy story.

Red and Avril have been in hiding since the explosive ending of Human Target. Now to clear thir names and get back into the game they are sent after the elusive genius Dr Moreau and her experiments.

The story is ok. My main problem with this is Red and Avril get captured a lot and are usually the ones who need saving. Also with all the bad guys here I would have liked a lot more fighting with Red using more of her wolf side. The book finishes with a cover gallery of full page A, B, C, and D covers of all five issues.

Island of misfit hybrids.

I'm just getting into Zenescope comics and Red Agent makes me want to dive even deeper. The story sucked me in to the point I didn't even make notes on what to write in this review, all I have is that it's well paced lol.

But I suppose that is all that's needed; a story that is well written and paced perfectly, art that is on point, an overall engaging story, and characters that are relatable and unique. All causing the reader to forget their life's troubles and lose themselves in the story.

Red (a.k.a Britney) and Avril's story is a mystery in this comic, yet enough is known to understand how they gotten to the predicament they're in, with them being on the run. Will they catch Dr. Moreau to clear their names? With that being the premise of this book, I can't wait to see how the story of Dr. Moreau and her despicable ways turns out, since not quite everything was tied up in a neat little bow by the end of this book.

I want to know more of Brit and Avril's story and am looking up other Red Agent comics right after I finish this review. I'd definitely recommend this to magna fans and all actions lovers alike.
