He's a planner
For six months he's been waiting, planning, dreaming about making Layla his, but has he waited too long?
Layla is frustrated, sexually frustrated, Fixer is steamy hot but he moves at a snail's pace. Just as she plans to walk away she finds herself in danger and there is only one person she would ever call to rescue her!

Shorty, sexy, and Good
I love all your stories, I felt this was getting good then it ended. It was good short story I guess I wish it was longer. I love 💕 lingering over your books and just savoring them. That’s the mark of a good writer, you win hands down to me anyway.
Layla should have did a Madea and hit David with a skillet or made him some hot grits. But I’m happy Ray step in and handled it, then her. I would have been doing more then footsies on that couch. I loved 🥰 it.
I love all your stories, I felt this was getting good then it ended. It was good short story I guess I wish it was longer. I love 💕 lingering over your books and just savoring them. That’s the mark of a good writer, you win hands down to me anyway.

WOW what happened to the rest of the story?!?Really Deserves 2⭐️⭐️
I read this through KU so I didn’t waste my money. It was for .99 so wasn’t that much but I am glad I didn’t buy it first. It is extremely short and completely anticlimactic. They finally start to get together and they do some heavy quick foreplay in the kitchen and he tells her what their future will bring in a paragraph and it ends. It actually ends with NO actual smex they do not finish the deed well it is not written you just have to imagine they did. NO epilogue and in fact the author hadn’t even wrote an epilogue yet, says she will in the future and you can get it through her newsletter in the future when she writes the epilogue.🙄😳 I gave 3 stars because I was enjoying it until the anticlimactic end. This is only a teaser, it really is not a book. It is only some chapters and have to use your imagination that they have hot smexy times when they go to her bedroom.🙄 If this was an author I never read from before it would have been 2 stars and I would never read anything from this author again, but I have read more from this author and I have liked some of her books and bought a few but this was a real turnoff.😒😔😖

Finally claiming your desire😘😊☺️
Merrick and Layla both needed to step up and make a move already😜. Not sure that I could have held out for all those month by the sexy Fixer.
It seemed to be clear they were both attracted to each other yet they didn’t make a move😬. Six months is a long time of pent up sexual energy and it was bound to be electric when they finally did get together🥵🔥🥵. I thought it funny that Merrick didn’t mind the little changes that Layla was making to his home during her visits. He certainly wanted it to be comfortable for when he made her his🥰. Layla did put herself out there short of telling him her feelings. Good thing that as Layla was ready to give him a piece of her mind and quit that Merrick got to her to stake his claim😘.
As with all of Ms. Imani Jay’s book it was hot and steamy. I just wished that the scene didn’t end abruptly and didn’t get to read how they finally got to enjoy being in each other’s arms🥰❤️.

A cute little story about a lawyer/biker named Fixer and the woman he loves but has yet to claim, his cleaner Layla.
These two have been dancing around each other for six months since she started working for him. They are both in love with the other but have not made a move to progress their relationship.
Not being able to stand it anymore, Layla is planning to quit her position with Fixer today but before she can, she has a run in with her ex who she dumped two years ago. Their confrontation starts escalating quickly and Layla is afraid because her ex is much bigger than her. Luckily she alerts Fixer who comes to intervene and keep her safe. He might be a lawyer but at his core, he is a badass biker and he handles her ex accordingly.
The story starts to heat up once they confess their feelings and they move their smexy times to the bedroom but the book ends abruptly before anything can happen and there is no epilogue either, it was a little disappointing to be honest.

Both of them, it was sweet being romanced, getting to know each other, but at the same time they were both lusting after each other. Until an unexpected ex showed up, forcing Fixer to stand up and fight for them. For their relationship. For Layla. For love.
I loved how he explained that he had been planning this for six months, how he was going to make her his. She had already earned wife status. Not just an old lady. He was planning on their kids and their forever. He was already being a good man to her. For her. Her protector. Her savior. Her man.
Loved Fixer.

Ray Fixer Merrick and Layla have been dancing around each other for six months. Right when he has decided that he is going to claim his woman her ex comes back on the scene. Layla can't believe that her ex has the nerve to enter her home and give her ultimatums about what is going to happen between them. Will the Fixer get there in time to liberate his woman and will he finally claim her as his old lady? this story had me in their corner cheering them on!

A good addition to the Dirty Sinners MC. With no movement between Merrick and Layla for the last six months both decide to stop pussy footing around and take action. But just as the decision has been made, an ex rolls into town and decides to take back what was once theirs. A wrong decision on their part, who dares to come between Fixer and Layla? A good read.

Short and Spicy!🌶
Author Imani Jay possesses the distinct ability to connect reader to character, instantly. I normally disdain and discard novellas because I just don’t care about the characters (some long novels too). Enjoyed Layla and Merrick’s story which was swoony satisfying due to Ms. Jay’s skills!

HOTTTTTTTTTT. So I know Imani. And I know her work and this book was 🔥🔥 I couldn't get enough of these two. The story was there, it didn't feel like it was short, and the degradation was just right. It didn't even feel like degradation. I can't wait for the bonus epilogue Imani. You owe me!!

Decent Story but...
This could have been a great read, if it was a bit longer with a lot more detail. This author is known for hot, steamy scenes but this one was lacking. The storyline was good but, as in the previous books in this series, didn't include some of the other MC brothers. This could have easily been a great read if more effort and details would have been presented.

Loved it . Fixer a member of dirty sinners and a lawyer has a house keeper been in love with for 6 months . She needs help her ex came back threatening to hurt her she texts fixer and he shows up helping her showing how much he wants her as his old lady .

Another amazing read in the Dirty Sinners MC series. Fixer is obsessed with Layla but afraid she won't accept the darker part of his life. Imani always gives us the greatest characters and stories. This book was one of my faves in this series and I love every authors take on their story.

Degradation isn't sexy.
This novelette had the potential to become a 5 star story. However, calling your partner "slut" during sex is disgusting. Why authors write this is beyond me. It exhibits a lack of creative imagination. A good story becomes mediocre.

It was a cute story. They were very cute together. I will say I didn't like the way that she was going to go about ending their little relationship before it began. Overall well written and would recommend.
