WANT TO IMPROVE YOUR JIU JITSU GAME EVERY TIME YOU TRAIN? ★NEW★ for 2022!! Start Designing and Playing YOUR Jiu Jitsu Game over the next 60 Days!

Like most students who train in BJJ, I was on the verge of calling it a day. After discussing my shortcomings with my coaches and professor, they gave me a new insight into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. With these new strategies and concepts under my belt, I became a second degree black belt under Roger Gracie.

Just like most techniques in Jiu Jitsu, the answers were simple, but counterintuitive. If we try to fix these problems by just muscling-through, then it takes a long time and takes a lot of the fun out of training.

Using some concepts and strategies in the Zen Jiu Jitsu books, you can speed up your progress and have fun doing it.

How the Top BJJ Players Fight and Remain Relentless in their Goals!

After the success of the Zen Jiu Jitsu series, the latest addition to the line up is now Zen Jiu Jitsu - Human Chess.

This particular volume explores some of the concepts, philosophies and ideas that have been gleaned over the last sixteen years, becoming a black belt and running my own academy.

It covers several topics

Stop buying expensive tutorials until you know how to use them properly. Concepts and strategies will take you much further than any technique.

If you have reached a plateau in your game and need a fresh perspective then Human Chess is for you. I’ve started it simple with reasons why BJJ is so hard to get to grips with and then moved onto more complex ideas on how you can use your time well, on and off the mat. These are just a couple of the strategies and concepts contained in Zen Jiu Jitsu Human Chess.

Well the author definitely has a formula…

Some sections are more useful than others, some rehashes and repeats from previous books in the series. I’ll likely continue to revisit for a skim from time to time.

I purposely had this as an occasional background read which is the reason for the long read time- it isn’t a comment on it being a long, difficult read!

extremely useful

So glad I grabbed this. I’m a major MMA fanatic and I practice with my daughter regularly. It’s interesting how practical this was considering it’s in a book instead of having a teacher direct me. Loved it.

I always enjoy these Staark bjj books in parts. I think theres random pieces here and theres i enjoy, but theres not a cohesiveness of strategic message i'm hoping for. Still useful.

Quite a bit of repetition of ideas presented in his earlier books, but the concepts are valuable to any serious BJJ practitioner

I enjoyed the book overall. There are some things with which I vehemently disagree, but it is a good supplement for your Bjj and enjoying the journey.
