This book was just lovely! I love books based around bookish things (in this case the core group of friends have an amazing book club). This book had sweet main characters, as well as a fun charity event plot!
I also love when later in life single people find a happiness.
If you need a fun, happy romance, this is the perfect book!

Delightful story about a widow of 10 years who suddenly is thrust into the world of a doctor she never knew. Natalie was married to her dream man who died in the war and so she has not been able to move on. They had a beautiful young daughter and so Natalie threw herself into raising her the way she knew her husband would have wanted. She hasn't done much outside of the home working at a company she created but mostly being there when she was needed. Her daughter is now going through a rebellious state and Natalie is so worried about what will become of her. She is hanging with the wrong crowd and destined to get into trouble.
So the morning starts with them being late and her daughter wanting to skip school but mom knows best and pushes her to hurry so they can get to school on time. Unfortunately, after dropping off her daughter and hurrying to get home for a conference call she is involved in a major accident. Luckily there is a doctor from the hospital jogging by and he jumps into action. Wait, as Natalie wakes up she feels a strong pull toward this man. How can that be?
Molly takes us through the first part of a serial story and shows us how through normal life two people can meet who had no reason to be together and start a life that holds a lot of promise. On to book 2

Natalie is trying her best to provide for her teenage daughter and sometime it is hard. One day after dropping her daughter off at school she has an accident. The first person she sees after the accident is Dr. Finn Wilder. He rides to the hospital with her and treats her injuries. Over the next couple of weeks the see each other in connection to an upcoming auction to raise money for the childrens ward at the hospital. At the end of the auction, Jasmine, one of Natalies friends puts Finn up for auction and he quietly asks Natalie to buy him. Could this be the start of something between the two

I really liked this story and especially Natalie and Finn. This was a very quick read for me, but the author put a lot of story in this first book which is book one of three. We get to see how our hero and heroine meet and we also get to meet her daughter and book club friends and her policeman brother, and we get to meet his friends from the hospital as well. I enjoyed the story and while I love all of her book club friends, Jasmine is definitely my favorite of all of them and at the end with her ‘surprise’ (a little bit of matchmaking for Natalie) made my day, but it also left me wanting more of the story and to see what happens next. I’m glad the next book isn’t too far off. A lot of things to look forward to in book 2 - - what comes next especially with the way book one ended and also, I think there’s more going on with her daughter Summer and I’m interested in where that might go. Excited for the next book.

Great start to a new series. Natalie has been a widow for a while, but after dropping her daughter off at school, she is involved in a car accident. Finn just happened to be running that morning and heard the crash. He turned around and run back to the car. Being a doctor he knew what to do. Natalie has an instant attraction to Dr. Finn, but feels she can't go there, as she would betraying her deceased husband. Finn gets a spark too.

This book is part one of the Second Chances at Castle Beach story. In this installment, we find that Natalie has a car accident after rushing to get her daughter, Summer, to school. However, she has the good luck of a doctor witnessing the scene. Finn instantly feels a connection with Natalie and he not only insists he personally tend to Natalie's wounds but also looks to find ways to spend more time with her in general...

I thoroughly enjoyed this story and can't wait to see what happens with these characters in part two!

It was exactly what she needed, because there was an apartment ab0ve it. When she arrived there, the landlord, Sebastian, was out back replacing a window. Short book about a women who gets in a car crash after dropping off her daughter and finds herself having feelings for one of the doctors. She feels guilty having the feels even though she is a widow whose her husband had passed away 10 years early and she deserves to have a life. It was a fun read of a little romance later in life. It was also nice since the book also had friends who belonged to a book club. I look forward to more in the series.

Oh my gosh! I absolutely love this series! This is the first time I've read a book by Molly Summers, but it won't be the last! I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know more about Natalie and Finn and the people and town of Castle Beach. I'm so glad I received an ARC because I read all three books in this series in one afternoon! I couldn't wait to learn more about Castle Beach! If you are looking for an entertaining read, this is the series for you! It's a light romantic comedy! You'll laugh out loud many times!

Loved this book! Great characters, fantastic story line and there's no greater setting than a beach! Natalie is thinking about getting into a relationship again after being widowed for 10 years. Little did she know that she'd meet a handsome doctor. Maybe she'll have a second chance at love.
