Rate this book
THE 120-BOOK HOLY BIBLE AND APOCRYPHA IS THE LARGEST SCRIPTURE AND APOCRYPHAL COLLECTION EVER PUBLISHED, FEATURING ALL 54 BOOKS OF THE 2022 EDITION OF THE COMPLETE APOCRYPHA AND ALL 66 BOOKS OF THE HOLY BIBLE. IT'S THE NEW, LITERAL, EASY-TO-READ, DEFINITIVE COLLECTION OF CHRISTIAN AND JEWISH [NON-GNOSTIC] SCRIPTURES AND APOCRYPHAL BOOKS.

All 39 books of the Old Testament, 27 books of the New Testament, and 54 books of the Apocrypha, Pseudepigrapha, and Apostolic Fathers, all revised and retranslated into a clean, literal, and easy-to-read the complete LSV collection. This is the largest and most comprehensive collection of non-Gnostic Scriptures and apocryphal books ever produced (120 books in total). This substantially exceeds the Catholic Bible (73 books), Ethiopian Bible (81 books), and even the Cepher (87 books).
Featuring easy navigation with an inline table of contents in addition to Kindle's NCX view, as well as quick chapter jumps at the beginning of each book.
The 54 included apocryphal works contain approximately 90% as much material as the standard 66 books of The Holy Bible.
Includes the Catholic and Orthodox Deuterocanon material, all three of the books of Enoch, Jasher, Jubilees, the Aramaic Book of Giants, the testaments, apocalypses, pseudepigrapha, New Testament-era works, the Apostolic Fathers, and more.
Utilization of the transliterated Tetragrammaton in the Old Testament. All uppercase LORD is used in the New Testament and Apocrypha when a reference to YHWH is likely.
The Literal Standard Version (LSV) is a modern translation that stays true to the original manuscripts. The Kindle version features easy navigation with a built-in table of contents in addition to Kindle's NCX view. Use the NCX view, inline table of contents, or quick chapter links in each book to jump between any of the 2,655 chapters.

Instead of rating this work, I'll just let you know about some of my confusion around it. Essentially, the collected almost the entirety of the Old Testament Apocrypha and Pseudepigrapha, but the only New Testament ones included were those in the running for canonization, so we don't get any of the bonkers or highly interesting stuff from that second era. BUT we get practically every writing you could want tied to the Hebrew Bible that isn't Midrash, also there was at least one Misnah included. In regards to the Old Testament stuff, the order was very confusing. I am not sure why they chose the order they did, especially since Enoch is referenced a butt ton before you actually get to it. That being said, this is a great and affordable collection that will keep you very busy for a long time. If you are looking for EVERY apocryphal and pseudepigraphal work, this will heavily disappoint you, especially in the New Testament department. If you are looking for a large collection to get you started on extrabiblical writings, this is an excellent and affordable start (dang academic paywall).

I continue with my study of this unique Bible; this will take me over a year and I was not studying through spring and summer much. I am committing myself to 5 days a week and being consistent. Through prayer I seek guidance of what apocryphal books to read with the Holy Bible. Interesting too, I was lead to study 2 Enoch 2, before 2 Enoch 1 and this parallels lessons from the Holy Bible. I found the book of Wisdom, a spiritually necessary book to read. Perhaps I might finish by Spring 2027. Quite an endeavor.

This collection is designed to provide readers with a wide range of biblical texts, including those considered canonical by various Christian denominations as well as the Apocrypha, which includes additional biblical writings not found in all versions of the Bible.
