DNF - this was just not for me

Accidental Daddy is the second book in the Rocking Horse Ranch series by Amarra Skye. This book is about Everett, Micah and Zane. Micah and Zane are a couple, Zane is also Micah'd dom. But when Micah explains he needs a Daddy and Zane admits he can't be one they start the search for a Daddy for them both.

I liked their story. It was sweet, sexy and full of feels.

A Little Removed

I felt like I was reading someone retelling someone else’s version of a Daddy relationship. There was no emotional attachment to the story and very high level observations. Weird.

Accidental Daddy by Amarra Skye is the second book in their Rocking Horse Ranch series. It is the story of Zane, Micah, and Everett. Zane and Micah have been in a D/s relationship for several years. Then Micah realizes he needs a Daddy which is a position Zane is unable to fulfill. They decide to look for one and when an opportunity comes up for them to visit the Rocking Horse Ranch for a Littles’ Week they jump on it hoping to find a Daddy to play with them there. Everett had a Little Girl but she left him so he decides to go to the Littles’ Week at the ranch also, not realizing that it is for men. He is also good friends with Zane and Micah and is surprised to see them there. They ask him if he could be their Daddy for the week and he decides to try it out, even though he has never been a Daddy to boys before. The story continues from there as they explore not only Little play but what a relationship between the three of them would be like and they all decide they like it a lot and will continue it after they return home. I enjoyed this book as Daddy/Boy stories are my favorites and this one had a little different take on them as there were 2 boys who were already together in a D/s relationship but they were both Littles. Then you have a Daddy who hasn’t been with Boys and is learning the ropes and hoping that this could turn into something that will last. The Boys also had horrible childhoods that affected their actions and Everett wasn’t kind to Zane when they were growing up, but he had changed. They all had to learn to trust one another. The love scenes were also extremely hot and included a kind of play you don’t often read about in books. If you like Daddy/Boy stories that are a little different then this short story is one you will enjoy.

This book set at The Rocking Horse Ranch is Amarra Skye's latest and it's beautiful. I've read a few stories set at this ranch and it is great meeting the plethora of characters who visit and treat us with their back stories.
This time we meet workmates Micah, Zane and Everett. There's old history between these three that has left deep psychological scars. So when Micah tells his life-love he wants a Daddy for the two of them it opens possibilities that are looked into, then discarded. They don't want casual and they don't want distance. They want and need local and someone they know so they're comfortable. Enter Everett.
The emotion and deep thinking that has gone into this story is nothing short of amazing, and Amarra has captured the silent as well as the vocal issues facing not just Micah and Zane but Everett as well.
There are some elements that could trigger some people, but for those who know the 'bedroom actions' of gay men will find this story not only emotionally accurate, but physically accurate as well. This was an amazing read and one I will be reading again.

Okay. So the blurb doesn’t match the book. At all. Zane is Micah’s Dom. Micah wants to be a Little but Zane cannot be a Daddy. Everett is a Daddy and has a history of bullying Zane when they were high school. Zane and Micah go to a Littles weekend at a ranch looking for a Daddy. Everett is there not knowing this is a gay event. Zane asks Everett to be their Daddy and this story is them trying to figure out that dynamic.

This moves at a very fast pace here. All of them have some serious issues with the past in terms of the bullying and how Zane and Micah were raised. Each of them spend time feeling unwanted and left out. I did like how they talked often to sort these issues out.

Overall, an okay read but it was really light on any details. I wish we had a better glimpse into their past and how they’ve actually moved forward. I feel like a second book featuring these guys wouldn’t be unwarranted, as we are left with some questions that remain unanswered.

Accidental Daddy is the second book in the Rocking Horse Ranch series and follows the story of Everett, Micah, and Zane. The book overall had a good premise and story but did lack some details. It feels like there is an entire back story between the characters that is missing. The story is also really fast-paced with a lack of character growth and additional details. The kink is well portrayed and some of the scenes are sweet. Overall an ok read, but could use some help to make it great. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Loved it!!

OMG!! This book was just adorable. It was M/M/M, Kinky, Daddy..well, I'm not going to ruin it for you. It had Littles, lots of them!! An old enemy to one of the men and a friend to the other signs up for an event because he's looking for a Little. He doesn't realize that it's at Rocking Horse Ranch and it's not as straight as he was when he walked in. That's all you get from me. It was cute, Littles & Daddies, and love in the air!!!!

Accidental Daddy is a MMM, enemies to lovers, age play, Daddy Dom with a bit of insta love. Micah and Zane are already an established couple. Micah wants to explore becoming a little but Zane struggles with him due to his abusive father. Everett always thought he was straight but when Zane asks him to be Micha’s Daddy, he rethinks what he’s always thought. The story is sweet and steamy, really good! Overall, a great read! Well written with pacing that flows.

Micah, Zane and Everett

These three men really touched my heart. I loved how Amanda Skye wrote each character and their feelings. Although Everett was straight, he apparently wasn't as straight as he thought he was. Micah and Zane were already a couple but were friends with Everett so having him become more in their lives wasn't too much of a stretch. I look forward to reading more stories involving these three men.

Ignoring the blurb (which I never read) this story is a great improvement on previous books. However, it still lacks a quality of writing to make up for any weaknesses elsewhere. Typos, name erros, and word errors are hard to keep accepting this far into a writers library.

The story is readable, although short and somewhat lacking. I did enjoy it but you should read it and make up your own mind.

I thought that this was a pretty good book. I enjoyed Everett, Micah and Zane together. These three have a bit of stuff to work through with past and current issues but these three do get a sweet HEA.

This was so good.

I loved watching these three figure things out. While Micah is a sweetie and Everett is a great Daddy, it’s Zane I adore the most. I especially like how fluid they are in their different headspaces. The only thing I would change is the ending. There was so much more that needed to be seen.

I liked how this story flowed. There were a few sentence errors where there were extra words or sentences that just didn't work well but overall it was good. Zane, Micah, and Everett had their own issues to work through. I liked how they were all vulnerable in their own way as well. The dear reader section of the ARC was for Love Struck and says check back in with us in July to see if....

WOW!! So Good!!

Well written story and well developed characters! Micha and Zane have been partners for years. Zane is the Dom and Micha is the Sub. Micha is also a Little but Zane can't be his Daddy. It just isn't something that he can make himself do! So they start to look for a Daddy for Micha!

Another great book,,,,,The abuse some people go through when the were young can have all kinds of effects on someone in this book it shows two people who suffered and when they were old enough but they are adults and they know what they want and plus they resolve old issues

This second book in the 'Rocking horse ranch' series is all about Micah, Zane and Everett who all know eachother. They all have have bagage from their youth We get to gwt glimpses in all their past, but I would have loved to get more insight in them all.
I just loved Zane who was so caring for Micah, but was finally able to explore his true self. Micah who sees hinself as a little but really is caring for others even when he is in a scene. Everett was a bully of Zane, but has been building bridges/ a relationship with both.

Things are kinky and the relationships develop very quickly. A quick sweet read with spice and kink.

Great little novella
