Cathy is a tiktok/social media booktoker who has a problem she has a stalker who is obessed with her so her father hires a bodyguard for her. Lennox who is alpha and 💦💦💦💦 in his own way like lord!!! He already knows Cathy is going to be trouble and she is when they already have there first fight at the bookstore. He teaches her a small lesson.
The sexual tension is hot between the two and they want more so this Halloween party they are giving into eachother let the game begin!! Lennox with his dirty mouth and how he treated Cathy 🥵🥵🥵 he was super dom and teased her plenty. And we got a ending well a shock ending with the bad guy.
I'm alittle upset cuz I didn't know we would leave on a Cliffhanger!?! Like wtf? No one said it was a duetish? It would be a hire rating book If I knew this.

I actually really like it. I thought it was well done for having not so many pages. It’s ott, Insta love-insta lust. He is older (not a lot) and it’s 6’9. It all happens in two days. And it has a huge cliffhanger. Neither virgin. What I didn’t like what’s that (obv) her ex bf didn’t give her an o in all 6 years of relationship. He was vanilla but she wanted to try all the kinky things that happens in all her books.
I fell like if you are in the bookstagram/booktok community you might like all the references that h gives.
They give pretty close names to real popular books.
If you like all of this, you should give it a try. A Halloween spicy Novella.

Next up on my spicy Halloween novella binge was Halloween Games, and it was a really great read! It had everything you’d want for a quick, fun Halloween escape: a brooding, bossy, and mysterious MMC bodyguard, a stalker subplot, a glamorous Halloween ball, some fantastic spice, and an entertaining story.
This is the perfect quick read if you’re looking for Halloween vibes and spice without a lot of plot, character development, or world-building. It’s just pure, fun escapism. I will say I expected a little more focus on the stalker storyline (it only got a couple of pages), but even so, I still enjoyed it! If you’re in the mood for a steamy, spooky good time, this one’s definitely worth a read!

The perfect book boyfriend
Being a part of the booktok community, I really felt that this book really said for YOU, to me. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Let me tell you, I'd happily have a stalker, if it meant I got Lennox to uhm... guard my body. I can't wait for the next book. It's a cliffhanger but I sorts expected that. I really hate when people take off stars or hate on a book because it has a cliffhanger. Traditionally published authors do it all the time and hardly get any hate over it. But indie authors get dragged. Such crap imo. Take a chance on this quick, spicy read. You definitely won't regret it

Cathy ist in kurzer Zeit eine kleine Berühmtheit geworden. Durch ihre Faszination für Bücher konnte sie sich schnell eine Reichweite aufbauen. Doch mit dem Erfolg kommen auch Schattenseiten in Form von Richard, ihr Stalker.
In seiner Sorge um Cathy organisiert ihr Vater einen privaten Bodyguard, der rund um die Uhr ein Auge auf sie haben soll. Doch sehr schnell ist nicht nur sein Auge auf ihr!!!

Solid 3.5 stars on this one. The writing was decent, if not a little clumsy on this one. I like that it’s instant attraction instead of instant love and the more they get to know each other, the more they want an actual relationship.
The spice was A++. It’s exactly up my alley let me tell you.
And it was short. About 100 pages and a comprehensive story. I didn’t feel like things were rushed or weird or anything.
The plot seemed to take a convenient back see until the end. Not gonna lie; I like Lennox but he’s not a particularly great bodyguard. 🤣

It wasn't amazing but also not bad. It was a nice short read. However, I felt like it was rushed and there wasn't really an end because it just stopped after their time together.
Cathy is a influencer/booktoker, who is being stalked by Richard. When she told her father, he immediately hired a bodyguard. This Bodyguard ended up being Lennox. He is tall and very alpha and knew from the beginning that Cathy was going to be trouble for him. And so it was.

There was actual plot. Which is great. I’m upset that the second book isn’t on KU so I would have to buy it to see what happened. And since I don’t know how it ends I feel from this point in the story. This could have been an excellent book like not novella what this is. Just more details for of a slow burn or a real enemies to lovers.

Reading this book broke my heart because this can happen to anyone. Stalkers are no joke scary and it can happen to anyone but falling for her bodyguard is another thing and I can't wait to read the rest

It was an okay novella, I just didn’t connect with these characters. I know it’s only a Novella but I’ve read a few of them and found it easy to connect with them. It felt a little bit too rushed. Nothing really stood out, I can’t remember the characters names. This is just my opinion and it just wasn’t for me.
