I have so many positive things to say about this book. Alek and Carina are both amazing characters. The prologue alone will hook you. If you want a heated read, with a touch of action and suspense, this is for you. I am addicted to all PNR. However, vampires will always be my first love. (I even read and watch the bad ones, there are plenty) So here is a story where two people have an instant chemistry. But a future worth having, needs to be worked for. It will take trust, acceptance and love. I do not give spoilers. I will tell you, like all great reads, they will find their HEA. The writing is superb and the back story rocks. Thank you once again for an awesome read Ms. Gorri.

Carina and Alek meet under dire circumstances in Blood Song by CD Gorri. She gets more than she bargained for with his patronage. She comes to not mind it though. I enjoyed the historical references. Amazing story.

SHARK BAIT by T. M. Payne
This story is about Olivia who has such an affinity with the ocean, always has and was so happy when her parents bought a house by the ocean. Her Grandmother had given her a shark and mermaid necklace and told her never to take it off. Said one day things will be explained to her, unfortunately her grandmother died, and her parents were keeping secrets from her. Olivia had met a young boy Owen and grew very fond of him but lost him, he was taken by the sea. Years have gone by and her friends Mark and Kelly take her on a boat trip. Well Olivia is in for one heck of a surprise - she'll never forget the boat trip. You're going to love the twists in this one and just adore all the characters.

She has a special gift only known to a very few people. She is to pair up with Finley O'Donnel, a Dragon Guardian shifter. As the two meet - fireworks! They are each others mate but Orla says no time for that now. They have a serial killer to catch.
A plan was formed using Orla as a target to get the killer. Unfortunately, things didn't work out as planned and she was kidnapped. Finley is furious and no one is stopping him from finding his Mate!! The chase is on! Loved these characters and a great story.

A great collection of books at a great price.

I really enjoy paranormal romances and this book introduced me to some authors that I hadn't run across before, at least not that I remember. And many have books on KU! How great is that! I will definitely be binging a couple of them soon. Any other PNR authors that I might not know, please enlighten me. I would greatly appreciate it!
My other bingeable genre is something I call "bodice rippers" such as those by Scarlett Scott, Samantha Holt, and Sorcha MacMurrough. They are great fun historical fiction books with sensual and sexy action and HEA endings.

Good stories
I enjoyed most of the stories. I found a couple harder to follow but I think they are all worth reading. Not really sure they all follow the theme. I also believe that I have read a couple before at least part if not all of the story was something I remembered from a different book.

IT'S A MATTER OF TASTE
Some of the stories were difficult reads, one especially was quite repetitive so skipped a couple. Some were great reading. Cudos to the authors, some were just not my cup of tea & that's not your fault, just my taste.

This is my second book by this author and though I enjoy her stories I hate not having everything tidied up at the end.
I will be reading the next in this series as it is PDA and available in KU.
Short, sweet and enjoyable with likeable characters but chap 15 needs clarification which could have easily been done after these events.
I have read it three times and still can’t work out if Jared, the fire chief, started the fire. We are to presume he did.
Why did he then go get Daisy her medical bag if he wanted Calder dead? Doesn’t make sense. WHAT triggered Daisy to change and attack Jared?
Was the mother and child presumed to be in the fire found?
Who shot Calder, no names were spoken. Obviously one of the malcontents but lacking explanation afterwards.
I hate not having things clear.

A quick and entertaining read that gives us a nice coupling of the MacAllen Dragons and the Dragon Intelligence Agency series.
Sad that so many brilliant minds are lost due to the megalomaniac delusions of some crazy person.
I liked both Orly and Finlay but just wanted to see more of them connecting romantically rather than relying on the mate bond.
Glad they did get to know each other before having sex.
I just want to know if Stan, who was on deaths door, died or not.
