Remastered with stunning new artwork by Mark Buckingham! Including material originally presented in MIRACLEMAN (1985) #23, plus bonus content.
I've been waiting to read this seemingly forever, the Golden Age is one of my favourite comic sequences of all time, and the Diver She is already off to an intriguing start... Essential.
My ratings of books on Goodreads are solely a crude ranking of their utility to me, and not an evaluation of literary merit, entertainment value, social importance, humor, insightfulness, scientific accuracy, creative vigor, suspensefulness of plot, depth of characters, vitality of theme, excitement of climax, satisfaction of ending, or any other combination of dimensions of value which we are expected to boil down through some fabulous alchemy into a single digit.
Very retro in art style and tone, fitting! Love that the script is set up to face the 1950s racism and sexism head-on. My first go at Miracleman, so I'm a noob in terms of lore, but I'm enjoying it so far and can't wait to see what Neil brings to the table.
