I loved how quickly I could sink into this story. I was a little surprised there wasn’t more animosity when the truth of who Sophia’s father was came out. I’m curious to know more about Misha’s mom and what the brothers went through, as well as his wife’s past and history.
This story had a good pace and connection with just the right amount of darkness in it.
I look forward to reading more.

Misty Winters has written a 5-star book that will grab you from the first page to the last page. This is the story of Sophia and Misha. Sophia is the daughter of a Russian Bratva boss in the States. Misha is a Bratva Boss in Russia. Things happen that cause Sophia to leave the States and go to Russia. When she gets to Russia, things don't go so well for her. She is almost taken but somehow gets away from the men who attacked her. She finds a friend in a stray dog that she decides to keep and she named him Bear. She is getting short of cash so she needs to find a job. She sees an ad for a Nanny and she replies to it. It isn't long before she gets a response. She agrees to meet at the cafe she is at. Misha is shocked when he sees Sophia for the first time. He wants her and that is strange since he is still not over his wife Sonya being killed just the year before. He looks at Sophia and sees her bruised face and knows something is not right. As he is talking to Sophia, he sees Lev, a man that works for a trivial of his and he goes up to him and they have words. Misha tells Lev that Sophia is not to be touched or he would not like what happened to him. Misha hires Sophia to be Ilya's nanny. She tells him that she has a dog that would be coming with her. When Sophia meets Ilya for the first time, it seems like they click and form a bond right then. Bear bonds with Ilya also and becomes his guard dog in a way. Sophia has worked for Misha for a few weeks and things between them get heated. It is getting hard for Misha to stay away from her. Misha has had enough and he goes to Sophia's room and they sleep together. Things between them are going well until he finds out who she really is. He now hardly talks to her and she just doesn't understand why. All she can think is that he got what he wanted and that is why he had such a high turnover with the nannies. She is tired of the cold treatment so she decides to talk to one of the guards and it doesn't end well for the guy. Misha is upset that she was talking to him and the guy ends up leaving. Misha after taking care of the guy goes to Sophia's room and asks her if she remembered what he told her the first time they slept together. "You are mine now." They sleep together again. Sophia has tried to reach out again to her grandparents with the hope that they wanted to get to know her. Misha finds out that Sophia is not who she said she was and this makes him mad at first. He has a meeting with his men and tells them who she really is and some of them get upset over that. Sophia hears Misha tell his men that she is being hunted down for who she is and they must protect her at all cost. She decides that she can't allow anyone to get hurt over her, so she decides to go back to the States. She leaves Misha a letter telling him what she is doing. Misha calls his brother Dmitrity and finds out he is in the States and has him find Sophia before Sergei finds her. Sophia is walking and trying to figure out what she is going to do when she is grabbed. Bear tries to attack the men who grab her but they are ready for him. They put her into a van and take her to a warehouse. No one says anything to her until Misha comes in. He is not happy to see her. She is not happy to see him and tells him to leave her alone. He tells her what and who he is and that someone is after her and he is taking her back to Russia with him. When they get back to his home, things change for her. She no longer has free run of the house like she did before. She becomes defiant and doesn't eat. She thinks about what has gone on and decides to get in. She is in the kitchen when there is a knock on the door. She thinks one of the guards would get it but when a knock comes again, she goes to answer it. She doesn't know the man at the door and he grabs her arm and takes her. Andrei, Misha's right-hand man comes to him and tells him what has just happened. It is found out that one of the other guards left his post and allowed this to happen. It takes a little bit of time to find out where Sophia was taken. Misha and the guys go after her. He tells them that the first one that finds her, they are to get her away no matter what. Sergei has finally got her and now wants to do to her what he has dreamed. She puts up a fight and he knocks her out and then drags her to a storage shot on his yacht and chains her to a pole and gags her. Misha is the one who finds Sergei and they have words. Misha wants to know what he has done with Sophia. Dmitriy is the one who finds Sophia. He takes the gag off of her and he asked if she could walk by herself with his help. She said she could except that she is chained to the pole. He asked her "Do you trust me?" as he pulls his gun out. He shoots the chain and it pops apart. As they get to the top deck, she hears voices and she knows one of them is Misha's. Dmitriy knows what she is planning and tries to stop her but she is too fast for him. She runs to where she heard the voices and finds Misha and Sergei. She tells them both to stop it. Sergei has his gun pointed at Mishal and Sophia pushes him out of the way. She is the one to get shot. Dmitriy comes in and sees what happened and punches Sergei in the face and takes him down. Misha goes over to Sophia and tells her to hold on. Andrei yells "Boss, It's Luka! He's trying to get away." Misha looks at Dmitriy. "Go, he nodded. “I’ll make sure he doesn’t go anywhere.” Misha and Andrei go after Luka. When they get to him Misha asked "What did he offer you to betray us. You were like a brother to us. Luka tells him "He offered me my freedom. Something I could never have doing your bidding. After Luka is taken care of, they go back to Sophia. Andrei said that she needed to be taken to the hospital or she was going to bleed out. Misha gives Ivan the task of getting her out to the car and tells Andrei to keep him up to date on her. He and Dmitriy had some unfinished business to take care of.
What will happen between Sophia and Misha?
Can they get past their differences?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Buckle up a wild ride, suspense, dangerous man, alpha personified, possessive, oh, so gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a deliciously dark Mafia story. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
Bad boy….check
Bod boy’s crazy brother/friend…check
Bad boy’s Kryptonie…check ….check and check
By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
Misha sexy as all get out Bratva boss one of Russia’s biggest criminal empires who get done what most would think impossible, his reputation of being “THE BEAST” proceeds him most people shake in his presences and will protect those he loves with everything he is. Sophia sweet, naive to what /who she really is but being a mafia princess means you are kept in a protected, sheltered gilded cage controlled by your father so what happens when your father is murdered leaving her with more answers than questions. Her struggle to just learn how to stand on her own two feet is hard at times I wanted to reach into the story and point her in the correct direction but heading to Moscow for two reason one to hide and two to get answers concerning her father but what she wasn’t counting on was being on the same path as Misha (The Beast) and it is hate at first sight (in a good way ) they say it is a thin line between love and hate these two make that easy to believe. Since her family turned their backs on her forcing her to live like a normal person so accepting a job as a nanny working with her father’s enemy and the attraction is intense from the moment they meet and the moment a target is put on her well we will see just how far he will go to protect her, will she learn the truth about her father, and can they find happiness?

Misha is a Bratva Boss in Moscow. He is married to the love of his life Sonya and they have a 5 year old son Ilya. Misha gets a call that Sonya is in trouble so he goes looking for her. He is with his right hand man Andrei when they hear gunshots. Misha comes upon Sonya and she is dead. Misha finds out who killed her, it’s Mikhail Volkov. Sophia is the only child of Mikhail Volkov. They live in New Jersey and Mikhail is always warning her about monsters coming for them. One night Sophia hears a noise from downstairs, Mikhail had trained her for just this occasion. Sophia went into her father’s study and got the trapdoor open and she went into it. She heard gunshots and then Mikhail came into the room. She heard her father die. After hours in the hidden hole she came out to a massacre, everyone was dead. Sophia found the money her father had hid and a note with the address of her mother’s family in Moscow. Sophia flew to Moscow and found her grandparents but they didn’t want anything to do with her because of her father. Sophia answered an ad for a nanny even though she didn’t speak a lot of Russian. Misha needs a nanny for Ilya who is 6 now and he is a terror. Misha meets Sophia at a cafe and he sees three hoodlums watching Sophia. Sophia gives Misha the last name of Petrov. Misha hires Sophia even though he is enamored by her beauty, he really needs a nanny. There is attraction from both sides. Sophia has no clue who Misha is and he has no clue that she is a Volkov. Will Ilya like Sophia? Will Ilya behave? Will Misha give in to his attraction to Sophia? Will Sophia give her virginity to Misha? Will Misha find out who Sophia is? Will Misha and Sophia find love and happiness?

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Bratva Beast by Misty Winters is the first book I have read by this author. I will be adding her books into my must read list. Bratva Beast is a stand alone story, although I want to read more about the other men in the book. Just heard there will be more books. Yeah!

Misha Kozlov is a Bratva boss in Moscow. He is raising a young son, Ilya after his wife was murdered a year ago by Mikhail Kozlov. Back in America Mikhail's house is attacked and he is killed, leaving his daughter Sophia alive. She takes off for Moscow to find her mother's family. They reject her due to her father. She grew up isolated and didn't know what her father was or did.

By luck she applies for a nanny job working for Misha. She doesn't know who he is but she gives a false name. Sophia is attracting to Misha and Misha too feels something he hasn't since he wife was murdered. Sophia is able to captivate Ilya in ways previous nannies had not. Misha's nickname is the Beast; it is well earned. He can be ruthless but seeing him with Sophia and Ilya he is a different man.

The story is full of twists and action but also romance. I started reading and read it straight through. It held my attention. I cared about the characters and as I said earlier I want to know more about Misha's brothers. There are also questions about their mother that need to be answered. There is violence and some possible triggers it is not too bad. If you like mafia drama this book is one to read.

When tragedy strikes Sophia goes to Moscow in search of her family. But they want nothing to do with her. Now she’s alone with little money, but she soon finds an ad for a nanny needed. When she is offered the job she thinks her life is finally turning around, but she has no idea who she has accepted a job for. And he has no idea who Sophia really is… that is until it’s discovered why she’s being hunted by a rival leader. What happens when the truth comes out? And will their rivals finally catch up to them?

Sophia was sheltered her whole life. She has no idea who her dad really is or what world she was unwillingly born into. I felt bad for her a bit because she was just so sweet and naive.

Misha and Sophia shared flirty looks and secretive touches, but I wish there would have been more that led up the the big deed. I feel like we didn’t really get to see much of them together and at times the timeline seemed a little choppy. But I do love that Sophia and Ilya had an instant connection. And that she adopted a stray dog.

While this does have some dark themes mentioned, it never really goes into detail about what had happened in the past. But there is quite a bit of times where Sophia gets beat. (Not by MMC)

Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review. This is a mix of enemies to lovers mixed with Bratva romance so expect some violence and some intense moments although compared to other Bratva/Mafia ones I've read this isn't too violent nor dark.

The chemistry between the 2 can be felt and Misha in all his intensity and violence, is really a different (gentle) person with her. It was nice to read that although Sofia is sheltered and has been kept in the dark about the Bratva world, has a backbone and that play of lost girl mixed with steely resolve was interesting to read and explains a lot of her instinctual actions. Loved how the story plays out and the unknown enemy/danger lurking around the corners added to the intensity.

However the story feels incomplete and it's unclear whether the correct person has been held accountable. There seems to still be a lot of questions unanswered on who Sofia's father and mother really is and whether finding out the truth would affect their lives and HEA.

But overall a fast paced read that pulled me in from page 1 and didn't let go until the last page and caused me to read late into the night!

This is a Russian Mafia love story with crime, enemies, underworld and their ruthless ways. Sophia is the daughter of a Bratva boss who lives in US and lived a very shelter life. Her father has done some horrible things over the years and ends up murdered while Sophia hides. Once she comes out of hiding she grabs the bag of money, finds a note with names and address of family in Russia. Sophia ends up on their doorstep seeking help and they turn her away! With no where to go she finds a hotel room and a stray dog that helps protect her against those looking to kidnap her for their own gain. When Misha a Bratva boss needs a new nanny he ends up interviewing and hiring Sophia right on the spot. Misha does not know who Sophia really is and is also taken by how beautiful she is. Misha and Sophia have an undeniable attraction for one another and once it becomes more things start happen to bring them closer and enemies coming at them as they want Sophia. Misha has claimed Sophia as his and no one will come between them! They have a journey with caring, live, cruelness from enemies and one scary kidnapping. This is the story of Sophia, the daughter of a Bratva boss living in New Jersey, who flees from her home after her father is murdered. Her only living relatives are her mother’s parents who live in Moscow, but they want nothing to do with her because Sophia’s father was such a cruel and vindictive butcher. Alone and desperate, Sophia answers an advertisement searching for a live-in nanny and is hired by Misha, another Russian Bratva boss and single father, whose wife was murdered by Sophia’s father, unbeknownst to both Sophia and Misha. Misha knows Sophia is keeping something from him and his protective instincts kick into gear. The attraction between the two of them is off the charts, and although they are both closed off to more hurt entering their lives, they cannot stop what is happening between them. This story is hot, hot, hot, and will make your heart twist and turn from fear, sadness, joy and happiness. It has it all and should not be missed!

This was just the best Bratva book. I loved it, like the title says, So so good!!
Sophia runs away to Moscow after her father is murdered in a home invasion leaving her an orphan. Not knowing what to do, she applies to be the nanny for Misha, a Bratva boss.
This is just full on drama and suspense. I loved the relationship between Sophia and Misha and how it was slow burn. Despite their backgrounds and differences they are able to dismiss that and move forward. I loved that. The romance and steam was sweet but not over done, allowing the story to focus more on the differing forces at play through out the plot.
And what a plot it was. I thoroughly enjoyed the writing and style of this author. It's the first book from her I've read but just loved it and had a great time reading it. Great work!!

What a ride! Murder, deceit, betrayal, revenge…and that’s just the first couple of chapters. Sophia and Misha meet as potential employee/employer, but the Bratva King does know her true lineage. She’s American so why would he? A brutal home invasion sends her scrambling to the unforgiving streets of Moscow where she knows nothing of the rules, Bratva life, or who her father truly was. As the only Nanny Misha’s son has accepted since he’s had to take on one, will he keep her once he knows who she is? Will he protect her when the big bad comes for her? Will he open his heart once he realizes she’s cracking it open? I am all about this series and look forward to seeing some of the unanswered questions revealed. Which brother is next? I know I want D’s story ASAP!

What a great dark mafia story. This is the story of Misha who is called the beast of the mafia and Sophia who is unknowingly a mafia daughter. When she flees the country after her father is murdered and seeks support from her family, she comes home from a rude awakening because they don't want her and is sent away. When she then meets Misha, their journey begins.

This is a great story about violence, danger, betrayal passion chemistry and much more. Ms Winters has done her best with this story, she is my new favorite of Bratva and Mafia stories. This book is definitely recommended!!!

This is a love story of enemy families, revenge and love. Misha is the Beast, a Bratva boss in Russia who is ruthless. Sophia is a Bratva princess, who never knew she was until her father was murdered, who flees to Russia after his death. Sophia becomes nanny to Ilya, Misha’s son. There is an instant connection between Misha, Ilya and Sophia. But lies between them surface and the word is out in Russia that Volkov princess is there. There are threats made by other Bratva, betrayal and love that all come to a head. The story has an HEA but I also became invested in the side characters, leaving me wanting more stories in this world. Can’t wait to read about Dimitry and Ivan!

This is not only a Bratva romance it's also an enemy to lovers story with some dark, dangerous and intense moments, but compared to some Bratva/Mafia stories I've read this isn't as violent. It's Misha and Sofia's story and I have to say their chemistry is palpable and intense, he's as you would expect a violent man but with her he's gentle. Sofia may have been sheltered and kept in the dark regarding her father's Bratva world, but she's strong and has a backbone. I liked the storyline and how the unknown enemy/danger added to the intensity and drama but did feel that there were still a lot of questions unanswered regarding who Sofia's parents really are and if finding out the truth would make their lives better or worse?

Sophia is the daughter of Mikhail Volkov but raised in the USA. He’d intended marrying her off until the night that he and all of his men had been executed by Misha’s men in retaliation for killing his wife on the first anniversary of her death.
Sophia had hidden and then bolted to Russia to try to meet her maternal grandparents and get to know them to find out about her mother as she knew nothing. She’d been raised by nannies.
She was attacked by three men during her first night, but escaped their clutches only for them to find her again. They worked for another Bratva that liked to traffic young women and they’d set their sights on her. Sophia was clueless to their plans.
Misha was the one to receive threats after he’d taken Sophia into his employ as his son Ilya’s nanny.
There was a strong attraction between Misha and Sophia that began to grow.
A thoroughly enjoyable read with a great plot and believable characters. Superb.

Wow what a great read. I loved this book. It was full of drama and was very well written, it was like you were there looking in. I was totally hooked from the get go. Sophia was a great character, she was protected all her life from all the bad things going on. Once her father is killed n luckily she hides in the panic room. Sophia goes looking for her own answer to what happened to her mum. Only of course she gets into trouble. Add Misha to the mix and all hell breaks loose. Just a great read loved it. Highly recommend

She was the daughter of a Bratva King pen. When he is killed for a past deed, she runs to the mother country to find family. They do not want her. When she is denied from her family, she is left with little to money to survive, so she takes a job as a nanny for another Bratva Boss, her fathers enemy.
Misha is the Boss of Moscow and the family, when he meets Sophia, he is drawn to her like he hasn’t been drawn to anyone since his wife. He starts to have feelings for Sophia and he’s trying to fight the feelings for her.
When Sophia is targeted by another Bratva Boss, all bets are off and the crap is ready to hit the fan, because the Beast will do anything to protect his Beauty, no matter the cost.
I truly loved this book, it gripped my attention and did not let go until the last page. Now I’m waiting for more.

This is Sophia and Misha's story.
Misha needs a nanny for Ilya. Sophia has recently lost her father and has come to Russia to try and find her mother's family. She finds them, but doesn't get the welcome she was expecting so things align and she becomes Ilya's nanny. They have an instant connection and Misha, who is her father's rival, finds himself attracted to the beautiful nanny.
This is a nice story, the writing style is pleasant and not hard to read at all.
The characters are likeable and the plot is engaging.
Overall, I recommend this book.

A Bratva Love Story Wrapped in Intrigue!!!
Explosive Bratva story with major secrets! Sophia comes from one of the fiercest Bratva families in the US and just barely escapes with her life when her home is broken into, with chaos and murder surrounding her. Unbeknown to her, she runs from one deadly family to another. I'm not going to give away anymore of the story except to say Sophia, a gorgeous red head, attracts the good-looking Bratva boss, Misha, and from then on, it's the edge of your seat waiting for what's going to happen. This is a great book and I highly recommend you read it. Can't wait to read Misty Winters next book.

I have to say that I had a little bit of trepidation after reading the trigger warning. Happily, I never felt the book went over any lines. The story was interesting, the characters engaging and the book was an overall great read. I like reading books in a series where each book is complete (no cliffhangers), but that also continue on in the same universe. I have the closure I need but can continue to enjoy the characters. I enjoyed reading this story and look forward to the next book.

Bratva Beast by Misty Winters, that I received through booksprout was a very enjoyable romance. Sophia flees to Moscow after her father was killed and ran into trouble that she didn't know existed. She also finds out that her father had been a Bratva Boss. While there she also runs into an enemy of her father, the most powerful Bratva Boss in Moscow. I recommend this book to anyone that enjoys mafia romances. This book is available on Amazon

Well I was hooked from the start, I couldn't put it down. Good strong characters, well written rollercoaster of a story.
Sophia surprised me I thought she was a spoilt princess but she was actually not, I really felt for her an the mess her life became. Hoping in one of the other books that will be in the series we find out about misha's mum and who actually killed sonya as I don't believe it was mikhail.
Hopefully Lev will be captured an get what he deserves too.
Highly recommend, I thoroughly enjoyed thank you.

Sofia becomes a nanny for Misha not knowing who he was. You are drawn into their relationship as Sophia doesn't know who Misha is. She feels safe and finds Misha kind. Misha tries to deny his attraction to her and she feels that a relationship would be wrong. There is danger and tenderness and undeniable attraction between the two. This was a good story showing the danger of the mafia and the emotional attraction between two people meant for each other.

I fell in love with Misha from the first line of this book. He may be the beast but he has a marshmallow center where Sophia is concerned. Even though they had reasons to hate each other they found a way to have their HEA. Steamy and heavy on the relationship between the characters and less about bratva. A solid read and would recommend it.

After the death of his beloved wife Sonya, Misha swears never to love again and to kill the one responsible for her murder. Enter Sophia, the daughter of his sworn enemy. When tragedy strikes and she ends up rescued and I'm the house of Misha, sparks fly and secrets abound. With wonderful chemistry, fascinating plot lines, I give this one five stars!

Sophia has been sheltered all her life, when her father dies she goes to Russia in hopes of connecting with maternal grandparents but that doesn't happen. She is stalked, assaulted and threatened. When she lands a job as a nanny with Misha things start to look up for her. There is alot of betrayal in this book, but there is also steam, and cute bonding between Sophia, her dog Bear and Misha's son IIlya... enjoyed it can't wait for the brothers to have a story.
