Luana Ehrlich is a USA Today bestselling author, known for her award-winning Titus Ray Thrillers, Mylas Grey Mysteries, and Silas McKay Suspense. Her novels are clean reads with intriguing plots, fascinating characters, jaw-dropping twists, and occasional touches of humor and heart-warming romance.
Although she developed her passion for spy thrillers and mystery novels at an early age, she didn’t write her first novel until her husband retired from the ministry. Now, she writes from an undisclosed location, trying to avoid the torture of mundane housework, grocery shopping, and golf stories. However, she occasionally comes out of hiding to visit with her two grandsons or to enjoy a Starbucks caramel macchiato.

Private investigator Mylas Grey is hired by U.S. Senator Davis Allen to look into a personal matter. Through a DNA test with a genealogy website, Allen has recently learned that he has a 36-year-old son, Jacob Walker, whom he never knew existed. He relates to Grey that 37 years before, he had pulled off the interstate and stopped at a diner in a small Maryland town, where he had a conversation with a young woman over dinner. At the end of the meal he became very sleepy and checked into a local motel. When he woke up, five days had gone by about which he could remember nothing. Allen wants Grey to figure out what had happened.
Grey takes on this fascinating case during a busy time in his life. He is in the process of getting his new private investigation firm started, and his girlfriend Whitney Engel is coming to DC for a visit. To handle all of this he'll need a lot of help from employees, friends, and the Creator he is learning to trust.
Another great read from Luana Ehrlich! A DNA test, lost memories from 30 years ago, Washington politics, throw them all together & what do you get? Another mystery from Mylas Grey Investigations to solve!
Mylas & his staff pull out all the stops to answer questions for Senator Davis Allen. Allen is a powerful Senator up for reelection when a potential bombshell is dropped in his lap. This news could doom his reelection chances. Once again, Mylas & his staff pool resources & masterfully solve the mystery.
Mix in his budding romance with Whitney from back home & you got quite a story. Will Whitney finally move to DC? Read it & see!
In this story, we get to see how very well Mylas is investigating a very strange bizarre case for Senator Allen. It's a personal, family matter for the Senator. It challenges Myla's ability to keep things quiet while he figures out the truth. His girlfriend, Whitney, is in town for a visit so he faces a second challenge: spending time with her without scaring her with the investigation. I enjoyed how he worked through the situations. I also very much enjoyed Mr. Twitchell as the narrator. I was given a copy of this audible book by the author. I choose to write this review.
This is another great suspense story in the Mylas Grey series. It exposes a horrible event in Senator Alan Davis's life, but she also shows us the kind of man that is Senator Davis. Mylas has the challenge of keeping the situation on the down low while being followed by a PI. He also has Wendy visiting while all of this is going on. I give kudos to the narrator Steve Twitchell whose voice gives all the characters their depth and emotion in this story. The moral of this story is all will be answered when you give it over to God.
Secrets Crawling from the Woodwork This book is the fifth in a series about a private investigator in Washington, DC. In this episode, someone is creating lies about a politician's background. Another is claiming to be a politician's son. Life is very busy at our hero's PI business and his girlfriend comes to visit. This book is clean with no foul language, no sex, no gore, and limited violence. The book is faith-filled as our hero has just recently embraced Christ and is trying very hard to live a Christian life. This book, and the entire series is very good and highly enjoyable.
This was a great mystery read. The story plot was interesting and different as it didn't contain any dead bodies and blood but was about a surprising discovery. Something happened over 30 years ago to Senator Allen. He remembers bits and pieces but asks Mylas to investigate discreetly and find out the truth. I enjoy the characters in this series and am looking forward to how Mylas and Whitney's relationship will progress.
Myles Grey is quite excited: his special girl, Whitney Engel, has promised to spend a couple weeks in Washington. Just before she flies in, his old boss, Senator Allen has a new job for him to do. Will Myles and Whitney lose precious time together? Author Luana Ehrlich keeps us guessing throughout this novel. Her characters are sharply written, and the plot is challenging.
The series is engaging and well researched. I enjoy the journey and this writer's craft. I look forward to future novels. I must say that I appreciate the fact that the editing is superb. While there are authors who write compelling stories, I've learned to avoid those whose many errors in grammar, spelling, and even context interrupt the flow of of the novel.. You KNOW that will not be the case with this author, God bless her.
I just finished this 5 book series & it was enjoyable with nice likable characters. These are quick read mysteries. The last being the most unique. Her writing style is very straightforward, with little embellishment. All are written with the male main characters’ voice & remind me of the old tv show Dragnet- “just the facts ma’am”. The 4th was my least favorite, but overall liked getting to know the likable characters.
Enrich is a marvelous author. I haven't read a book of hers that wasn't great. This is no exception. While I recommend you read them in order so you don't miss anything, she is one of the few authors I know that gives you enough background in every book to read it as a stand alone story. But don't! You won't want to miss a minute.
I really enjoyed this story so much. I am enjoying the relationship that Mylas has with Whitney as well. This was a very intriguing mystery and I love how Mylas does his investigations. I love reading about some of the same characters that have been in the previous books. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series. This book is Christian and clean.
I have read all of Luana's spy novels and now Milas Grey. Always an interesting story line and enjoyable characters. I totally feel like I know real people. Just enough descriptions so as not to be too wordy. Clean read regarding romance and language which I greatly appreciate. Looking forward to book 6.
I love the way Luana gets the reader involved in the first chapter, and then the reader anxiously await what the next clue to be revealed. This case was a strange one in which the plot revolved around not, not a murder but a space of time of five days. Myles proves to be Excellent as his investigative skills developed with each case.
This was another captivating tale of Mylas Grey. His character continues to grow on you as well as his supporting characters. Each of the characters are well developed and create a team of professional and social individuals. The story is a clean entertaining read. I can’t wait for the next suspenseful episode.
This is a terribly interesting concept of DNA testing. In our young restless years did we….? Mylas investigates. Whitney is visiting Mylas in D.C. I wonder if she is thinking about moving there to spend more time with Mylas to get to know each other better? We will see.
I have enjoyed all of the Mylas Grey books, and this one did not disappoint! It was fun to have the senator's character developed more in this book and to watch Mylas delve into the DNA mystery and bring the past to light.
This Mylas Grey mystery is an excellent installment in the series. The mystery was interesting and there is progression in Mylas' romance with Whitney. This is a great series for those who like Christian suspense novels.
Luana writes excellent faith based novels filled with suspense and three dimensional characters. I enjoy each of her series novels and look forward to reading the next book in each of her series.
With such vivid details of Mylas' current incredible and complex case, readers will hang onto every word and hate that it ends so soon. Never fear, Luanda Eh rlich's book list includes the next edition to be released in the upcoming year. Count me in.
This story was about investigator Mylas helping out a U.S. Senator who had just learned through an ancestry website that he had a 36-year-old son about whom he was unaware.
This story is about how a private investigator is hired to find out how a senator has a son that he never knew he had until thirty six years later. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill
Stunning! Unable to put down! Once again Luana has kept me on the edge of my seat, kept me guessing, warmed my heart, and taught me refreshing lessons about life and faith!
Pick up this series! You will not be disappointed!
Grabs one’s interest though some parts are unbelievable/ not real life . She appears to have reasonably good plots & the characters really come alive ! I like the biblical current running through the story like a subtext .
This is another enjoyable book in the Mylas Grey mysteries. I appreciate the author’s ability to paint a picture and create interesting characters. I will definitely continue to read this series.
This is my 6th book in the Mylas Grey mystery series. I’ve really enjoyed reading them and getting to see what happens in Mylas professional and personal life. I think I’ll be a little sad when I’m done reading the complete series.
Enrich doesn't disappoint in delivering engaging elements and unexpected plot twists. If you are not familiar with her books, I strongly suggest starting with book one of the series.
Senator Allen had lost some days, but that was 37 years ago. Now someone has contacted him to make him remember those lost days and want to know more. Can Mylas figure it out. Excellent story kept me wanting to stay and finish in one night.
