My graduate professor wrote this book! The text does a great job at explaining the complicated and messy history of education and reflects on how teachers and schools can better the situation as a whole by leading with the heart and coming together as communities of learners. :) A very comprehensive and reflective look on what is being asked from teachers and students in the classroom.
