Basic Plot: Charlie (Charlotte) finds that the way to revive her business is recharging her energy with a new beau.
Eh. It wasn't awful, but definitely wasn't at all memorable. The pacing was slow, the conflict built and nothing was done with it. Everything just kind of worked out in the end and the "villain" poofed. The romance kind of just happened, there was no build there. There wasn't even any spice to, well, spice things up. It just felt like a letdown. The cover is a danged lie.

Meet cute
It was a good short story. I'd call it a meet cute, and the plot went fast. It's definitely a fun, fast read.

Charlie's Chill is a sweet romance between a reiki practitioner with a failing business and a bar owner. I loved the way the characters compliment each other and felt like people I'd hang out with. If you're looking for a comfort read with a HEA, I recommend this book.
