Aging Gracefully: Devotional Stories of Family, Life, and Legacy Book One
My Pastor, Danielle Collins of Greater Harvest Church in Indian Trails, N.C., always says, “you must be real to be healed”. I fully agree with that philosophy.
As a senior saint (where did the time go?), in my heart, I believe my assignment is to help younger women. For a long time, I tried to keep close to my chest the mistakes I made in my earlier years. But if I’m not willing to share some of my life challenges, how is that going to help someone else know that they, too, can receive their healing?
God bless you if you’re someone who’s never made a mistake and had a perfect life. That ain’t my story. Just pray for me!
