SOME SECRETS HAVE DEADLY CONSEQUENCES
Looking through household rubbish for evidence is a necessary part of being a private detective and one that Rowan expects to be tested on as she completes her training to become a private detective.
What she didn’t expect was to find an old Filofax amongst the crisp packets and milk cartons. Dated 1999, it has nothing to do with the clues her instructors have planted. Who is Emily Law and why does Rowan feel compelled to find the owner of the organiser?
As Rowan delves into the past she discovers a hit and run that might not be the accident everyone believed it to be. Can she uncover the truth and reveal a murderer?
Born in the Kingdom of Fife, Angela spent her teenage years in Penzance before returning to Scotland. She has had a varied career from Nursery Nurse to Bank Manager before becoming a full-time writer.
Her Rowan McFarlane Mysteries are set in the fictional town of Cuddieford, which lies somewhere between Dunfermline and Kirkcaldy.
Angela now lives with her husband in Fife looking out on the River Forth where she can easily see her favourite bridge, the Forth Rail Bridge. When she is not writing she can be found walking the coast or touring the countryside in her campervan.
It was really fun to go back to where Rowan began and to get a better sense of Jack as well. Consumed this story super fast, can't wait for more from this series!
