It should not come across as a surprise that am rating it five stars 😌

The music 🤌 The sound effects 🤌 The drama 🤌 Feysand 🤌

Part 2 starts with Feyre meeting The Bone Carver (I had forgotten how creepy the Carver's voice is). It ends with the Wall being shattered by Hybern. Now I really have got to start with Part 3 ASAP 😩😩

The highlights for me in this part is easily the High Lords meeting. The full cast assembling and the sheer drama at that meeting is elevated in graphic audio. Tamlin's anger, Feyre's frustration and reveal, Nesta's fury, Azriel and Eris' conflict and Rhysand's grace is absolutely everything. The voice acting is done brilliantly. I also liked the scene with Bryaxis, it was chilling. The rest of the audiobook feels slow, but it's all building up to the war.

Tho it's making me think again that Feyre is not a righteous FMC. She did not have to make the whole Spring Court collapse, her revenge should have been limited to Tamlin and Ianthe. But maybe that's just maybe 🤷‍♀️ Also, just want to say Lucien is underrated.

AM SO EXCITED TO START WITH PART 3. ITS GONNA BE AWESOMEEEEEEE 😍😍 Not me acting like I haven't read the books.

OBSESSED!!! I am obsessed with this graphic audio guys! I still have one part to go but I can already tell this is my favorite of the three so far. Not my fave book, that is ACOMAF but this is the best graphic adaptation. All I can say is that it's just EXCELLENCE so far but I will save my final run down and full review for the final part but here are the highlights of PART 2! 😍

Highlights
-Lulu meeting the Court of Dreams
-Feyre training with Cas and Az
-Feyre's introduction as HL to the Court of Nightmares
-The Battle of Adriata!! (SOO AMAZING)
-The Library and meeting sweet baby Bryaxis. 😉
-THE HIGHLORDS MEETING!!!!! (THIS PART WAS FLAWLESS!!!)🤌🤌🤌

Starting PART THREE but I kind of don't want to bc I don't want it to end! 😭

Sixth read/listen:
Am I obsessed by these dramatized audiobooks? YES.
Do I care? NO.

I am enjoying this reread (is it a reread if it’s an audiobook though? 🤔) SO MUCH. 🧡💛💚💙

“Be careful how you speak about my High Lady.”
*Shivers*

Also, I really love Cassian’s voice. If it’s the same voice actor in ACOSF, I might buy the dramatized adaptation when I need to reread the book before the next one comes out (because I am still hoping to get the next book someday).

I cry so much every time I read this book! I mean, big sobs and ugly red and tear-streaked face... That ending. It just kills me. Painfully. Every time. 😭

There is no word to describe how much I love this series. I went through so many emotions while reading it. I laughed out loud, I squealed from excitement, I raged, and I cried. It is truly a magical and fantastic adventure, and even though I’ve read it three times already, it’s still as good as the first time. This book is not as good as the perfection that is ACOMAF, but it is very close.

This book owns me, body and soul. It is packed with action, the characters can't seem to catch a break, and neither can I. I was at the edge of my seat for the whole ride; it was torture to put it down because I had to sleep or go to work. It would have been worth it to take a sick day just to continue reading this book and enjoying every single minute of it. The last 100 pages are a real roller-coaster, the action, the stress, the non-stop heart-pounding… It’s an unputdownable book.

"She is High Lady of the Night Court. She may do as she wishes."

Feyre, Rhysand, and their court of dreamers are about to go to war. They need allies and resources, and quickly if they want to have a chance at stopping Hybern’s army, who’s ready to tear down the wall to enslave or slaughter everyone. Desperate as they are, their only chance is to try to unite the 7 courts against their common enemy, something that has not been done in thousands of years. No matter how hard they try, the King of Hybern always seems to be two steps ahead, with his army, his apparently limitless powers, and the power of the Cauldron itself.

Feyre and Rhys risk losing everything and everyone they hold dear, but they are both willing to pay the ultimate price to save the ones they love. Among all the action, scheming and politics, they are trying to think about a way to protect their loved ones and to protect each other, their despair and fragile hope are woven all throughout the book, making me love them even more than I did before.

“I would have waited five hundred more years for you. A thousand years. And if this was all the time we were allowed to have … The wait was worth it.”

Sweet, selfless, and perfect Rhys. I love him so much.
I mean, I could repeat all the reasons why he is perfect, but I feel like I already said everything in my reviews of the first two books, so I will simply reiterate that I am in love with him.

I was also very happy to see more of Lucien in this book, but I still think that he deserves so much more! He is amazing and it breaks my heart to see how lonely he is, how he is yearning for a love that seems to be out of his reach. He is trying to figure out where he belongs now that he is not welcome in the Spring Court anymore, and I just wanted to hug him so badly… He’s the best (after Rhys). I really do hope that he gets his book and his well-deserved happy ending.

I also like that we had the chance to see Tamlin as a more complex character, he is still a jerk, but at least he had more depth than in ACOMAF where he was just an overprotective macho willing to do anything to get his perfect groomed bride back. I don’t like him yet, but I was able to connect a little more with him in the second part of this book and to appreciate his character a little more. The same can be said for Nesta, I appreciate her more after reading this book, I had forgotten how much her character changed in this book (in a good way).

I am obsessed with this series and the characters. Sarah J. Maas mixed so many different personalities in this series, from sweet and emotional, to cold-hearted and creepy, and she has a way to make her characters feel so real. Their actions, thoughts, emotions, and banter, I wish I could be a part of their group.

So I will just try to survive the book hangover that is sure to follow and probably cry some more while thinking about this amazing, great, awesome, and unputdownable series. 😍

This second part of book three is next level and grabbed my attention. From the scene with the Bone Carver all the way through Hybern’s destruction of the wall every part was brought to life through the audio performances and music. The cast brought the drama.

Feyre’s training scenes were a nice touch. Both because it gave insight to character relationships and she isn’t a character that magically masters everything automatically.

Nesta and Cas steal every scene they so much as step into and it’s fantastic. The actors that portray their characters just get better with each book.

The meeting of the High Lords is the best part of the entire book and all the dramatic moments were perfection. The cinematic descriptions were so crisp I felt like I could envision the setting and the music added life to the scenes.

It truly is an immersive experience. 👏🏻 🩵

Cassian and Nesta's dynamic was so good in this. I can't wait to listen to their dramatized adaptation.

Can we talk about Elain telling Lucien she can hear “his heart beating through the stone” at night? That gave me butterflies.

I had forgotten how Feyre was like, why can't Elain just pick Azriel instead? And Rhysand's reaction being like, ehhh don't let his pretty face fool you, Azriel ain't bf material 😂

Make of it what you will but SJM has always used Rhys to tell us readers what's right and he's never liked Azriel for Elain. He basically told Feyre how Azriel had issues with his self-worth and pursued only unattainable women, thus his 500 years of pining after Mor, A LESBIAN. Or now wanting to bone Elain, who's mated to someone else. Dude is a hot mess.

Luckily his mate Gwyn will fix him 😌

Oh Rhys!

Did I love Rhys even more after he sees Feyre's tired and instead of f'ing her, he pleasures her? OH yeah... he's so selfless! We need more men like him

This continues with finding alliances to help them beat the war against Hybern. There were plenty of surprises in terms of who get on their side, and then we had other surprises as well.

I'll link my full review on the book here (whenever I write it lol).

On to part 3 of this amazing graphic audio.

I love the little bits we get of Azrael in this book I’m hoping there’s even more of him in the 6th book with him and Elaine. “Be careful how you speak about my high lady” eeeeeee screaming and him beating the shit out of Eris absolutely phenomenal I love him so much (okay this is just turning into an Azrael appreciation post 😂)

Helion’s v/a is also Brennan from Fourth Wing and Tharion from CC so hearing his voice in a sultry sexy way is everything I love it I wish we got more of him hopefully in the 6th book with Lucien where they finally find out they’re father and son. Also super funny that Mor can tell Lucian she fucked his dad LOL

Rhys and Feyre are still everything I love them so much and honestly the High Lords meeting is my favourite in this part

After the dense, almost overwhelming first part of this dramatised adaptation, this instalment feels much more doable—smoother in pacing, easier to digest. That said, diving back in felt like a completely fresh experience, as if the story had slipped from my mind entirely. It’s a strange but not unpleasant sensation, like rediscovering something familiar yet distant.

The full-cast narration continues to add depth, bringing the characters to life in a way that a standard audiobook might not. The immersive sound design and voice acting work well to pull listeners back into the world of Prythian, even if some details of the plot seem to evaporate the moment you step away.

Overall, this part of the adaptation is more engaging than its predecessor, making it a solid continuation of the series. Let’s see if Part 3 keeps up the momentum!

So far I'm loving this series, and listening to it on Graphic Audio has really elevated the experience. It brings the story to life with not only the individual character voices, but also the background sounds.
It's definitely my new favorite way of reading a book!

I'm not usually a big fan of re-reading a series, but if any of my favorite series are converted to Graphic Audio, I'll definitely give them a listen!

I'm giving this book (parts 2) 4 stars, simply because it's the middle of the book. I know they split it up into 3 parts because it's so long, but this section is a bit slower. It's more political moves and information dumps than it is action. Though it does end with a banging cliff hanger. Literally!

At the risk of sounding like a broken record - because I've said this a million times - I'm blown away by how fucking amazing these graphic audiobooks are. I can't even put into words how incredible it is to experience this series like this.

This part was absolute perfection. Not only it has the high lords meeting, which is undoubtedly one of the most iconic scenes in the entire series, but it's also filled with Nessian moments and, if you know me, you know that I LOVE them. The tension between them in ACOWAR is so good and the actors voicing them do an excellent job [I cannot wait to listen to ACOSF when it's out].

War is coming in the next part and I predict tears will be shed while listening to some very intense scenes.

Perfection in Audible form!

The same story we know and love, but with all the soundscapes and sexy noises to go with it!

The war, the devastation, and the high emotions of ACOWAR are somehow even more powerful in this graphic audio version!

A must listen!
