Eden
He’s another constant. A constant presence that I didn’t know I needed until he was always there. Maybe I came here because I had hoped he’d be here, I’m not sure.
I watch him through my wet lashes, while still breathing heavily. He pauses near the door, inspecting me with a furrowed brow. Without taking his eyes off me, he strolls over to his regular seat. My eyes follow him, begging him for something I don’t know I need.
“Topolina?” His deep, sonorous voice breaks down my last barrier, and I go to him.
Closing the last few feet of distance, I inch my way slowly onto his lap, curl against his chest and press my face into his neck. Finally, I can breathe.

Mob meets instalove
This story was just as cute as the last two, with a bit of groveling thrown in the mix. Another hyper masculine hero that absolutely melts for his girl, exactly what you want in a novella like this. I’m really looking forward to the next one but sad they’re almost over.

love it
By far my favourite of The Innocence series. Love the whole dynamic that they have and the devotion he has for her. He had me worried there in the beginning but he redeemed himself nicely. Would have easily read 200 pages of this story

Short a gap read
This was a short quick read. Marcus and Eden’s story. Who does doesn’t love an Italian boss who becomes obsessed with them and gives her a better life. This is insta love but a good read.
