I enjoyed the other design with machine knitting book so much by this author that I bought this one too. I would recommend this book if you can only afford to buy one of them, I think it gives more information. But both books are masterpieces of colorful art and just wonderful to look at.
The author has beautiful color schemes and artful creations from them. She uses a lot of colors and tells how she changes colors in feeder 1 and 2 in her patterns, which is amazingly generous. She likes to felt a lot of her patterns. It will take me a long time to go through all of the book because there is so much in it but it is worth the price. Compared to other machine knitting books I've bought this one is by far full of creative pattern ideas. She doesn't waste book space to tell how to use your machine but I believe most of her patterns can be made with single bed standard gauge machines with some hand knitting finishing.
I did buy the kindle and it shows the beautiful color pictures with my Mac, iPad, and iPhone, but my kindle paper white only shows black and white photos. Obviously, you will have to make your own punchcards from her pictures but the majority of pictures are easy to see.
