Blind Trust is the final story in a great romantic suspenseful series and is Lyla and Nicolas' story, finally. They are co-workers with the SNAP Agency, whose home is in DC. Talk about a couple where opposites attract! Lyla is headstrong and impulsive. Nic is cautious and steady. One who used to work in explosives for the Army better be. Nic has one more mission to work in Syria. Should he stay away or return to the agency?
A person that Lyla helped put away has been sending threatening notes from prison for years but now he is dead of suicide in prison, but the threats are continuing. People are dying. Nic and the team do their best to keep Lyla safe, but danger abounds in the suspenseful final story with twists, turns, and some real surprises for Lyla. Psalm 23 is important to the team and Lyla and Nic keep it in mind. The key is, will Lyla and Nic get closer or not? Highly recommended!

My personal Rating- Three Stars

While the first two books in this trilogy might not have been my favorite cup of tea, I did still have higher hopes for this one because I really liked the Lyla & Nicolás from the prior books and was really looking forward to their story.

I do wish we could have learned more about Nicolás, as I don’t feel like I really know much about him except for his protectiveness for and also denying his feelings for Lyla. She was a pistol and while I’ll admit to her frustrating me at times, I did like both of them. Especially how well they worked together and got the job done. (Also there was no awkwardly-timed/bad-timing kisses like I’ve seen so many times in suspense books, so props to the author for eliminating that trope!)

When I reviewed my fourth/fifth book (one was a novella) by this author, I had said that this book was going to be the book that would decide if I’ll be continuing on with this author’s books. Well, I did like this one, so I guess I’ll be seeing what the author writes next.

I will say that the ending felt a little bit rushed and I’m impressed by the fact that I didn’t see a certain twist coming. (If I’m being super honest, I’m also annoyed that I didn’t see it coming.)

I really like the concept for this trilogy—a special law enforcement agency that doesn’t have to wait for approvals and be held up because of red tape—so while I’m still sad that I didn’t enjoy the prior two books, I did enjoy this one.

A great ending to The SNAP Agency series!

Nicolas and Lyla were both well-defined characters who had believable motivations. I liked seeing them grow to trust (and love) each other over the course of this book. And I was quite happy to see Kekoa again. He's hilarious and has to be my favorite character in this series. I loved how the SNAP team interacted with each other and all the humor involved. That was great!

The plot was full of twists and turns. Yeah, some of the minor details went a little over my head, but that was probably because I was reading too quickly. This story (especially near the end) contained plenty of suspense and high stakes to keep me reading right along. And now I want to read the prequel. The themes of trust, family, and fear were well done and added to the story. I appreciated that Natalie Walters kept both the romance and the language clean.

Overall, Blind Trust was an exciting read that I'd recommend to those who enjoy Christian fiction and romantic suspense. I'm looking forward to seeing what Natalie Walters writes next!

She’s done it again. Natalie Walters has created a story that absolutely sucked me in and didn’t let go. I hate to see this series end but love the way this book pulls together so many strands. I have loved sassy Layla from the first book and couldn't wait for her to get her story. This one was worth the wait. SOOOOO good. A great read.

I cannot believe this series is over (insert crying face). Listen I have been waiting for Lyla and Garcia's story since reading book 1. I just needed to know exactly what was going to happen to these characters and let me tell you Natalie Walters did not disappoint. I wasn't sure where the story would go and what situation these characters were going to be immersed in but boy was it good! There is no hesitation or easy intro into this story. Right from the start you are thrown into the thick of it. We see Lyla being her usual confident, "no fear" self and Garcia trying to protect her from any danger that may come upon her.

If you have read the books from the beginning I can divulge that you will get a look into the past of Garcia and Lyla. Definitely helps you understand why they are the way they are to each other. I really can't tell you too much without giving the story away but know that this book is full of suspense and twists I was not expecting. I completely enjoyed seeing the SNAP team together again and their relationship with each other is as stronger as ever.

I have really enjoyed all the books in the series and I recommend you read them in order (starting with the prequel!). This was absolutely my favorite one but I think its because I just fell in love with these two characters. Natalie Walters is definitely a talented writer. I love that although she writes a story filled with suspense it's also filled with funny encounters and banter that will make you chuckle and laugh out loud, but most of all she infuses a faith thread into her stories that flows seamlessly.

Overall I absolutely loved this story and I definitely recommend it to everyone who loves romantic suspense!

Okay. First off, Natalie Walters is brilliant. Brilliant! I can’t gush enough over the Snap Agency series. The characters leapt into my heart and just chilled there. Is it okay to admit I’m in denial that this series is over? Because that’s my current status.

Anyways, Blind Trust was everything I hoped for and then some. The plot was engagingly clever. I was hooked from page one. The pacing was perfect. I legit flew through those chapters. And now let’s discuss the romance. The romance y’all!!! I was invested in Garcia and Lyla’s relationship from book one and their journey to ‘happily ever after’ did NOT disappoint.

This book brimmed with all the elements I adore in a story and I can’t recommend it enough!

I love the characters in this series! While Kekoa is my favorite, Nic and Lyla are wonderful too. The chemistry between them is electric although Lyla seems to not be fully aware of it.

The beginning pages of the novel drew me right in with Lyla working undercover and going against the direction of SNAP teammate Nic. She has a heart of gold but is fiercely competitive and stubborn.

The main suspense story line was a good one. Realistic with plenty of twists to keep readers guessing.

Now that this series has come to a close...when is the next Natalie Walter novel releasing?

My gratitude to publisher Revell for a complimentary copy of the novel. I was not required to post a review and all opinions expressed are my own.

I think it's safe to say Nicolas Garcia has replaced Deputy Ryan Frost as my favorite Natalie Walters hero.

What a great ending for an awesome series. I have to say Blind Trust is my favorite of the series. I loved getting more of the banter between Lyla and Nicolas as well as watching their relationship grow and change. But more importantly to finally get their story. I also loved spending time with the team. And Kekoka gives off a combination of little brother and big brother at the same time.

At first glance Nicolas and Lyla don’t look like they work, and Blind Trust from start to finish shows readers the journey that started at the end of book one. And what a journey it was, the added suspense not only kept this reader turning to the page to find out what happened but also wondering if Nicolas has any gray from the adventure. Lyla and Nicolas are my favorites from this series. And I didn’t think anyone could replace deputy Ryan Frost as my favorite of Natalie’s heroes. But I was Nicolas Garcia is now my favorite hero especially after reading Blind Trust and getting to know him better. Nicolas Garcia just scream hero while whispering I have a soft side I keep hidden.

And just like with Natalie’s previous books a secondary was a favorite as well. In a Blind Trust it was Nicolas’s neighbor Korean War Army vet Mr. Brandt. Who reminded me of Korean War vets I had the privilege to know including my grandpa.

I loved the pop culture and science jokes sprinkled through the book. And how much a family the SNAP team is. This is a great ending to an awesome series. And if you haven’t read it you need to. Makes sure you start with the novella Initium to get the whole story as well as background.

I can’t wait to see what Natalie does next even though I hate to see these characters go.

I have been anticipating this book for a while. When Natalie Walters first introduced the two main characters of this book, Lyla Fox and Nicolas Garcia, in the previous books in the series, I couldn’t wait to read their story. And now it’s here.

It’s a great story and it brings the series to a great end. Although I am sad to see it end. It was great to see the other characters again, especially Kekoa, who is a favorite. I thoroughly enjoyed this one.

My thanks to the publisher for a copy of the book via the Net Galley platform.

Lyla Fox has a reputation in the SNAP Agency for being impulsive and following her instincts, which has her taking a lot of risks. Nicolas Garcia is cool and controlled. He is drawn to Lyla but can his heart handle it when she takes chances he wouldn't? In Blind Trust, readers finally get to see Lyla and Nicolas work together in a whole new way. We also find out some back story on both characters that makes it is truly hard to put Blind Trust down once you start reading it.

I enjoyed this final book in the SNAP Agency series. I think this one is best enjoyed by those who have read all the preceding books, including Initium. I don't recommend it as a stand-alone. Blind Trust gave me all the feels. I pulled for Lyla. I pulled for Nicolas. I pulled for other characters. I love that the characters from Fatal Code and Lights Out are part of this book. I just really enjoyed all of these books and all of the characters. I like the spiritual element in this book. I liked the way the threads were all pulled together to create a beautiful full tapestry from the book series as it all came together in Blind Trust. I highly recommend Blind Trust, as well as the whole SNAP Agency series for any Christian Romantic Suspense reader.

Blind Trust is the long-awaited story of Layla and Garcia. Tension between them have peaked readers since the beginning of the SNAP Agency.

I loved Garcia. Is strong work ethic and concern for others touched my heart. He was definitely hero material and I loved discovering the whys behind his actions.

Layla is no damsel in distress and it was great to see a strong heroine. Readers will also discover the whys behind her actions.

There were plot twists, slow-burn romance, and shenanigans from characters in books 1 and 2.

Don't miss this conclusion!

What. What am I supposed to do now??
My team is gone. No more. My SNAP agency babies have all found love & their happily ever afters. *insert ugly cry here*
But really it has been an absolute joy reading this series! I’ve been OBSESSED since the beginning, and I don’t think it will ever end. I. Love. This. Series!!

Lyla & Garcia put me through the WRINGER! Listen, I enjoy a good slow burn as much as the next gal but this one was TORTURE! So much tension & unexplored feelings — while trying not to die.

Whew! What a whirlwind!
But when they did realize their feelings for each other…*swoon* The REALIZATION THEY BOTH WENT THROUGH! And all the small moments that proved they truly KNEW each other & listened to each other’s needs!!

AND THAT EVERYONE KNEW BEFORE THEM! (If that isn’t real life I don’t know what is)

As always Natalie wrote a brilliant suspense storyline that had my mind twisting & bending to try and keep up. (There were a few times where I was struggling a bit with the political/governmental side of this story, but that is 100% a me thing!)

I’ll tell you…those plot twists got me!

If you are reading this book I HIGHLY SUGGEST reading the prequel novella “Initium” first! (If I had known what a large role it played I would’ve reread it) It’s not a necessity, as everything is explained by the end, but you’ll get more enjoyment from the storyline in my opinion.

I LOVE this team! So. Much! And while I’m sad to see the series come to an end, I’m happy that the series ended with them all finding their happily ever afters!
I’m READY for whatever Mrs. Natalie has for us next!

Wow, what an amazing conclusion to the SNAP Agency series! I have ‘shipped’ Lyla and Garcia since the very beginning of the series so I was beyond excited to read their story, and I loved it so much! Lyla is such a fun character, I love her spunkiness (or moxie as Garcia says!)
Nicolás Garcia is such an amazing guy! I love me a strong, tender, quiet, thoughtful, and unswervingly loyal hero, and if he happens to be an expert in EOD even better! (for those not in the know that stands for explosive ordnance disposal aka the people who defuse bombs)
Nic and Lyla’s romance is a very slow burn, and I loved watching them realize they had feelings for each other that went beyond friendship!
I loved the faith story in this book, it was woven in so authentically and just beautifully done!
I absolutely adore the SNAP Agency team! They are such a delight, and just SO much fun, they always make me smile, and I wish I could spend a day hanging out with them in the fulcrum. In fact I wish I had my very own Kekoa to throw me handfuls of chocolate when I’m upset and wrap me in breath-stealing hugs when I’m having a bad day! *sigh*
One of my favorite TV shows is NCIS: Los Angeles, and the SNAP team gives me major NCIS: LA vibes! The ensemble cast of quirky characters, the witty banter, the suspenseful action, the international intrigue, the team of friends that are more like family! If you like NCIS: LA you’re gonna LOVE the SNAP Agency series!
I absolutely loved every minute I spent reading Blind Trust, and I most highly recommend it! My only complaint is that it ended too soon, I was so sad to say goodbye to these beloved characters! I could totally read a new book about these characters every year! Seriously, this series could continue on forever, and I’D NEVER GET TIRED OF READING ABOUT THIS TEAM!!!!!
If you haven’t read this series yet then what have you been doing with your life?! The novels themselves stand alone, but I would say make sure you read Initium, the prequel novella BEFORE Blind Trust, otherwise Blind Trust will spoil the novella for you! But Initium is a super quick read and it is FANTASTIC!
The point is: READ THIS SERIES! You can thank me later!

Whew, what a wild literary roller-coaster!

So, there was a lot in this book I loved, and it only had a few brief issues. And the villain? Didn't see that one coming at all until I was really deep in the book. Bonus points for a pretty complex plot with lots of suspects, tons of intense suspense, wild action and few clues! Lyla's probably my favorite female main character in the series, and Nicholas was great too with his strong faith and slightly grumpy exterior shell. Together they were an awesome team, and were better for the trials they endured. Kekoa, Elinor, Brynn and the others were pretty hilarious, too. What a fun bunch of great people to work with!

Loved the Chick-fil-A reference too, by the way! Chick-fil-A is seriously my favorite fast food joint.

Honestly, Blind Trust is my favorite book of the SNAP agency series, and I'll pick up a copy as soon as I can!

For those who want the scoop on any content, that's just below..

Thanks to Revell Books for the complimentary e-book I received through Netgalley. I was not require to write a positive review, and the thoughts above  are my own.

Questionable Content

There's a mention of someone having a bachelorette party with champagne before.
Screw up, putz (means idiot, but also has a second very vulgar uaage and meaning)
A side character curses (mentioned, not written) while listening to a song about a cheating man because her husband did the same to her, twice. A mention of a suspect at least being a loyal lover. A mention of a loincloth. *cringe* A kid says he likes the poop emoji. Just unnecessary. :-P

Overall, the content here is mild, and easily suited to my personal content preferences with just a few dabs of white-out. Then I'll pass it on to my younger siblings who can't wait to read it either. I'm really eager to see what Natalie writes next!

Wow! What a climax to the SNAP Agency series. I just read the novella, Initium, that tells the background of the Agency and it provided valuable information.
This is Lyla and Nicolas’s story. Lyla seems fearless as she executes her role at SNAP. “It was not fear that drove her to take risks so much as it was her innate sense of making sure justice was served.” Nic sees fear as healthy: “It was God’s alert system to warn of danger, keep us safe...sometimes from ourselves.” And Nic is concerned for Lyla and wants to protect her. Lyla just asks Nic to trust her instincts. Then they come to realize just how much they mean to each other.
I like the whole premise of the Agency and the motivation of its founder, Tom Walsh. He wants to support the government or private interests from a Christian perspective of loyalty and justice. The members are all Christian and pray for God’s will but that does not mean Lyla will not act first and think later.
The plot was intriguing and showcased the teamwork. The characters had a camaraderie that was fun and showed their closeness. The present tangled with the past and was intricate enough to keep you interested. I did not figure out a key point. Surprise! Great ending to the series but I was sorry to say goodbye to these characters. I would love to see a reunion novella.

This book is a fitting conclusion to probably the best suspense series I've read in ages.

I loved the team, I loved the action, and y'all I loved the slow burn romance. Finally we have a romance that doesn't interfere with the action and moves at a realistic pace for two coworkers who have been more often fighting than friendly. There were high expectations all around for Garcia + Lyla's story, and I'm sure the author felt the pressure, but she pulled it off!

That being said, I did find Lyla's character got on my nerves, as everything about her headstrong personality clashes with my own. She was just so impulsive and we definitely would never get along in real life. *apologies to any of my friends that had an "I feel seen" moment with Lyla... *

Another great book in the SNAP Agency series! While this is book 3, you could probably read this one as a stand-alone, but I'd recommend reading the earlier books in the series to get a feel for the dynamics of the SNAP team as that will help you to better understand the dynamics happening throughout this book. I'd definitely recommend reading the prequel novella Initium prior to this one as some of the events in that story show up in this one. If you haven't read that one (or if, like me, it's been awhile) there's enough information provided in this one that you won't be lost, but this does have spoilers in it for that one, so I wouldn't recommend reading Initium after Blind Trust.

If you're a fan of the series and have enjoyed the banter between Lyla and Garcia, they finally get their story in this final installment. We get to see a little of their respective pasts that help to explain why they get under each other's skin so much. When death threats from someone Lyla helped put in prison a few years ago begin to escalate and Nicolas Garcia is offered an assignment on his old team, all of the sparks begin to fly. As Lyla and Nic navigate these issues as well as their own growing feelings towards each other, both the action and the potential for romance increase. There was a great deal of character growth and development and a solid faith thread woven throughout. Themes of trusting in God were prevalent throughout as well. The mystery/suspense element kept me turning pages, and some of the banter had me literally laughing out loud. While I've enjoyed all of the SNAP Agency books, I believe this one is my favorite. If you enjoy romantic suspense novels, this is one I'd definitely recommend! Special thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for an advance e-copy of this book. I was under no obligation to provide a review and the thoughts contained herein are my own.

Excellent conclusion to The SNAP Agency series!! I absolutely loved it and read it in less than 24 hours.

Blind Trust is the third in the heart pounding romantic suspense series by Author Natalie Waters. (4th if you count Initium, the novella that introduces the series.) I like to think of her books as romantic suspense/ romantic comedy. I love the humor mixed in with all the non-stop action and suspense. I was so excited to finally get to read Lyla Fox and Nicolas Garcia's story. The friendship and the chemistry is so fun to watch unfold in this fast paced, explosive story.

I came to love all these characters, Director Walsh, Jack and Brynn, Kekoa and Elinor, Lyla and Nicolas, Lyla's extended family, and I am sad to see the series end. I am secretly hoping for a Christmas novella that brings back the team!

You can certainly read Blind Trust as a standalone story, but I enjoyed every minute of each book in this series! I highly recommend Blind Trust for lovers of romantic suspense with humor.

Thank you to the publisher and net galley for allowing me to read an early copy, all opinions are my own.

Wow, this was intense! A touching love story wrapped inside a pulse-pounding suspense story. with humor and unexpected twists.

Nic and Lyla were interested in each other from the beginning, but they weren't ready to admit their feelings. they kept the tension long without overdoing it. Inspirational suspense, fast-paced, with enough plot twists to keep the pages turning. Clean read and well-written.

There were a lot of characters running and playing parts in this book and it had me confused a few times. It can be read as stand-alone, but I will recommend reading previous books and knowing recurring characters.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

Man I have been waiting for this story for a long time, but it was well (and I mean WELL) worth the wait. Slow burn romance? Check. Danger? Check. Action? Check. Characters to love? Double check. Laughter? Check. What more could you ask for in a book?

The good thing about reading a series is that the characters become like your family. The bad things about reading a series is that the characters become like your family. I don’t want to say goodbye to these sweet (and sometimes hysterical) characters. But I’m so glad that we get Lyla and Garcia’s story before it ended.

I think what’s special about their story is how slow burning it is. I mean all the readers knew before they knew. The other characters knew before they knew. But not once does Walters force them together, romantically at least. And you know what? That is fine. It’s real life. I cannot tell you the number of couples that often don’t even realize they are good for each other, while the rest of the world just kind of chuckles as they watch them figure it out. I think that’s why I enjoyed their story so much. I reminded me of some couples I know. Well, minus all the danger and action!

Walters is also good at keeping the pace of the story steady when needed, and fast when needed. And even in the midst of danger, she always seems to put in a little something to make the reader smile, and kind of step back from the ledge a bit. It could be a gesture, thought or a comment from one of the team members that just has you burst out laughing. Maybe not in every single scene, but in a few of them. That’s why I like reading her books so much. They are truly joyful to read.

While I am so sorry to see this series go, I can only hope that means there is another amazing series in the works, and I am HERE FOR IT! I highly recommend reading the SNAP Agency Series. You can thank me later. :)

Loved this fast paced, romantic conclusion to the SNAP agency series! Natalie Walters really ends things with a bang. (IYKYK) There’s something here for everyone; heart pounding suspense, intrigue, international criminals, decades old secrets, humor, great friendships, and a slow build, grumpy/sunshine romance that will leave you swooning.

Lyla’s and Nicholas’ feelings for one another have been slowly building over the series. He’s the cautious to her impetuosity. When a mission nearly ends in tragedy, Nic considers accepting a position with the military in Syria using his bomb expertise. Lyla’s recklessness mostly leads to a mission’s successful conclusion, but with Nicholas’ growing feelings, it’s hard for him to stand by and see her put herself in danger. When a criminal Lyla helped put in prison puts a target on her back, will Nicholas be able to help protect her, or will her recklessness put them all in danger?

This book kept me quickly turning the pages and I’m sad to see the series come to an end. Hoping for a spin off! I loved watching Lyla and Nicholas grow closer and seeing previous characters again, especially Kekoa. The intriguing storyline builds and builds with each new clue to a dramatic conclusion that had me on pins and needles. It’s a must read for inspirational romantic suspense fans!

While it technically can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading the previous books. The author does a great job bringing new readers up to speed, but there are a lot of characters and circumstances they might find a bit complicated if they haven’t read any of the previous books. Thanks to the author and publisher for the advanced complimentary copy. All opinions are my own and voluntarily left.

HOW does she do it? Natalie Walters is gifted at taking the craziest situations - and not one, but several - and making them a cohesive, edge-of-your-seat suspense story! What could've been crazy and convoluted was incredibly written and started connecting some dots I didn't even know needed connecting!

If you've read through the other 2 1/2 books of this series, you know we've all been waiting for Lyla and Garcia's story! But sheesh, it was so much more than that. As with all of the other books, I love that the entire SNAP team is fully present (along with Brynn). They get plenty of air time throughout the story, but it's focused more on Garcia and Lyla.

I think in book 2 Garcia finally caught my eye. He a great, broody guy who really grew on me. So much so, I could not WAIT for this book. And Lyla, from the moment we meet Cupcake in book one, I loved her. And wow, her story turned out to be more than I expected! Whew! Hold onto your seatbelts my friends.

Right from the start, the story takes the reader into the thick of things. Lyla gets a freaky letter and things go south from there. If you don't mind your life being put in danger on the regular, the SNAP Agency is the place to be apparently. Why someone is trying to send a message or trying to take her out unfolds throughout the story. And let me tell you, towards the end, there's a "made for the movies" scene that will have you 😳!

And poor Garcia is there for all of it. Keeping Lyla safe was literally a full time job for him. At the same time he thinks he's stifling her God given abilities, but that's because his heart has softened towards her although he's still trying to come to grips with it. Sakes alive, if any hunky fictional character can wear a baseball hat that's basically become a side character of its own, it's Garcia!

If you want a 10-finger nail biter of a story, I present to you the book that will fit the bill!

*I received this book for review. This is my personal opinion.

Blind Trust makes a 360 turn and connects it all with the Novella Initium, so if you have not yet read that novella, it might be good for the full picture to read the novella before picking up Blind trust.

I flew through this story. The plot with twists and turns created a nail-biting suspense, but it was the underlying chemistry between Lyla and Garcia, and Lyla’s tendency to run first and think later, which made me flip the pages as fast as I could.

Lyla’s insecurities of really belonging and being loved for her impulsive self was such an integral part of her actions. Readers got glimpses of who she was behind her bubbly bold personality. Garcia with his serious tough exterior had also so much more to give readers.

Kekoa still remained a favourite character and some of the banter in this book had me in smiles a lot.

I am sad to say goodbye to the Snap Agency, but Natalie Walters stepped it up with her second series and I am expecting more great stories from her in the future.

Blind Trust is the second book I’ve read in this series. (How’d I missed book #2?) But have no fear if this series is new to you because each works fine as a standalone.

As with any story I’ve read by this author, I’m pulled in quickly. And I love it when I connect with a character from the get-go, as I have with Lyla. (Love the name, too.) I enjoyed Nicolas’s personality, cautious nature, and motivations.

Although mystery isn’t my go-to genre, I enjoyed this one so much. Loved the suspense. Loved the chemistry. I somehow missed the second book in this series, but I can’t imagine enjoying it more than this one. I certainly want to go back and catch up though!

What a great ending to this amazing series! It starts out fast paced and keeps that up throughout the entire book. I grew to love Lyla (love her name too!) and her and Nicolas have great chemistry. It made me keep turning the pages. This book was fantastic. I could not figure out the ending but I loved that aspect. The description calls this a nail-biting book and yes, it definitely lived up to its name!

I was given this book as a complimentary copy but was not required to write a review.

“Blind Trust” was a fun suspenseful book that I enjoyed reading. There was suspense from the beginning to the end which made it easy to read. The characters made me laugh, especially Kekoa, who was quite entertaining with some of his remarks he would make. Nic and Lyla were always looking out for each other and worried that they were each safe, which was really sweet. This was a clean read. I would definitely recommend the book to anyone looking for a suspenseful Christian fiction book to read.

Blind Trust put this romantic thriller reader in her happy place. I enjoyed the wild ride that Lyla and Nicolas put me through because it had romance, twists, suspense and much more. I love the whole gang of the SNAP agency and I am sad this is the last book in the series. The author outdid herself with this awesome conclusion.

In the middle of this book I started live posting on my IG because I couldn't handle it. "The tension is so bad I want to hit something! I need taekwondo class or to finish this." It just got "worse" from there. Wow. Natalie Walters did a fabulous job wrapping up this delightful series--with more satisfying ties that pulled the whole series together than I anticipated. If you loved Kekoa's humor from previous books, you won't be disappointed with his plentiful shenanigans here. And of course our hero, Nic, has enough brooding and angst over Lyla to make us want to shake him. Lyla's character has always been a delightful supporting role in the previous books, but she really comes into her own here--again in surprising ways. I highlighted so many fun moments showing her personality and passion.

This is 100% suspense with a satisfying 100% of romance, braided with a welcome balance of humor and unexpected twists. Love it, love the whole series, and so glad Natalie Walters finally gave us the story of Nic and Lyla!!
