I’m the new Chief Resident Neurologist at Bardot Hospital. This is a milestone in my career. But I didn’t expect it to be a milestone in my love life too.
My boss, Dr. Ford Anderson, seems determined to challenge me in all areas. My expertise, my patience…and my willpower not to sleep with him.
He has hot nerd written all over him. Behind those glasses and his white coat, He’s hiding a body that’s ripped like a lumberjack. There should be a rule against medical geniuses having muscles like that.
The hospital’s strict no fraternization policy prevents me from acting on my urges. Not that I want to because while Ford may be insanely hot, he’s also a major jerk.
Every day I show up to work presents two possibilities: He’s either going to piss me off so much that I quit… or he’s going to turn me on so much… that I corner him in an empty patient room and beg him to take me.
Us working together in such close quarters every is trouble. And not just because we can’t stop bickering and butting heads. It ignites a wildfire of lust between us, and there’s only one way to put it out. We have to give in one time only so we can move past it.
The giving in part is easy. The moving past it part proves to be harder than we thought.
What could be riskier than sleeping with my boss? Falling in love with him would be way worse. And the chemical reaction in my brain tells me… That’s exactly what’s happening.

I received a free ARC from the author through Bookfunnel an I'm voluntarily leaving my review.
This made me laugh, it made me swoon but it also frustrated the hell out of me. This feeling is completely directed to Kate who kept running from everything and the reason this gets a 4 from me. The whole dance around should we or shouldn’t we consumed most of this book but not without those heated and intense moments with Kate and Ford. Normally I would be fine with this, and I was, until Kate ran away from Ford one too many times. She was stubborn and let her thoughts get the better of her. She didn’t allow herself to feel with her heart and the fact that they went this whole book and didn’t get caught together says something. They were committed to making it work, even though it was wrong. This should have happened throughout the whole book and when Ford is done playing games he allows himself to feel and lighten up. He had a lapse in judgment once and this I can take but when Kate did it twice then it was crazy to me because at that point Ford wanted to give it a try with her and she kept denying how she felt. In this book I want to say I liked Ford better as a character. Sure he was the uptight one of the group but Kate ended up changing him and he became more loose and not feeling like everything should be orderly. It was just too bad that she didn’t realize what she was doing to him sooner. It was great to see him change and I enjoyed this part of the book and the story as well. It was just everything else that I couldn’t take so it gets a 4 from me as it outweighed some with the good. I’m looking forward to seeing how the other doctors find love.
We are back at the hospital made even more famous from Hudson, a doctor there, and his infamous story about hooking up with a famous model. The heads of the hospital have deemed a new contract everyone had to sign preventing fraternizing together or with patients. If they breach the contract, they will face a massive lawsuit! Ford is the head neurologist at Bardot hospital. He is stern, a genius, and a stick-in-the-mud who does not tolerate any lollygagging of any kind. He goes home alone and does not fraternize at all. He has a huge attraction to his colleague of two years…Kate. She is also dedicated to her job, is hot, and is now Resident Chief of Staff of Neurology. On her first day at her new job, she is scolded by Ford. She goes home to her sister in tears. So, her sister ends up doing something drastic to help her out~ Only, it gets out of hand when Kate decides to take over~ What follows is hilarious and ends up getting both doctors out of their elements and taking a chance on discovery! They are both a hot steamy mess~ When Kate decides enough is enough…will it end? Or, will their attraction to each other defy the odds? Will they end up losing their careers?
Ford is the head of Neurology at the hospital. Kate is the new Chief Resident in his department. They have worked together before and its went well. However, now its different because there's a spark between them and a new hospital nonfraternization rule. Ford is not happy with how other colleagues look and talk about Kate. Yet its not long before they give into each other. Will they both get in trouble at work? Can this be something long term between them?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.
Dr. Ford Anderson is a great neurologist, but he lack the beside manner Dr. Kate Langley (Chief Resident of Neurology). They have to work together at Bardot Hospital of Beverly Hills, and unfortunately Ford and Kate get off to a bad start, but will it stay that way? Would the no fraternization policy of Bardot stand in their way? I enjoyed Ford and Kate's romance, Kate certainly has better people skills than Ford, but they make a good team and have some nice steamy between them. I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received, and giving my thoughts and opinions on it.
He's the head of Neurology and she's the new Chief Resident and their relationship is a forbidden one. When sparks start flying and rules get broken neither of them is thinking about their jobs. This is an ott, page turning, Vegas steamy romance that held my attention from beginning to end. Sure at times Kate irritated me but if an author can get me to feel something for a character then they are doing their job and boy did I feel some things for Ford too. This is book two in the Billionaire Doctors of Beverly Hills series and so far I am loving this series.
My boss, Dr. Ford Anderson, seems determined to challenge me in all areas. My expertise, my patience…and my willpower not to sleep with him. He has hot nerd written all over him. Behind those glasses and his white coat. He’s hiding a body that’s ripped like a lumberjack. There should be a rule against medical geniuses having muscles like that. This was an intriguing book. And am voluntarily leaving my review.
Ford and Kate get off to a rocky start. He lacks in bedside manners, and she is the chief resident of his department. Feeling begin to rise between these two but there is a no fraternization between the workers. As their feeling grow will they overlook the rules and risk losing their jobs, and will it lead them to a happiness. I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.
I thought this was a good read. Intense emotions, simmering heat and taught tension create an enticing romance that has you basking in the heat and all up in your feels. This is my frank, freely posted review.
ARC Review For honest review. I'm this story Dr Ford Anderson and Dr Kate Langley their a natural fit for each other when it comes to their jobs and relationship I enjoyed getting to read how this powerful doctors go from enemies to lovers.
This is book 2 in the billionaire doctors of beverly hills series. The characters kinda have a love hate relationship in the beginning. They love to butt heads and the chemistry is explosive. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC.
With both main characters needing some emotional healing it’s nice to see them find it in each other. I love how he pushed her away because he thought she was cute but she thought he hated her. They were made for each other!
Awesome Read!!! Thanks for another un-putdownable book. Loved Kate and Ford together. She humanized him and he drove her to bake!!! Lol 😂 Hospital politics potentially got in the way but nice HEA. Wanted a second epilogue to see more of their HEA.
These two have a hard time keeping their hands off each other, and it's hot hot hot!! They have some things to work through to get their happily ever after, but they make it.
The story was good and kept me entertained, but it wasn't my favorite in this series. It was okay, but seemed to drag in a few places, and all of a sudden the ending seemed to be rushed. Glad I read it, but it's not on my reread list.
Power couple from the beginning. They overcame a lot. I was happy when they stopped running and found a solution to their problems. The Sister was unnecessary to the story and a bit of an energy drain, but all-in-all Kate got her HEA.
