The woman that has been driving him crazy is about to realize she is the next miss to become a missus. If he can get the right words out
One night and a few careless words have Meg rethinking her home. Moving into town should give her the distance she wants. Will she be able to right a wrong she cannot remember before her family becomes a target? Can Brett convince Meg to forgive him?
This is the third book in the Swinging Gate Ranch series. While it is not necessary to read the books in order, the third book does pick up where it left off with the next brother finding his happily ever after.
Other than the psychopathic person who wants to kill you - other than that, I’d like to be her. A great read that kept me flipping the pages to see what would happen next!
Beautiful Love story Meg and Brett have a connection that gets overshadowed by Brett’s inability to express his love properly. And by Meg’s sad past. Just when they were cruising along well, Fletcher Marvelle, the villain shows up and threatens their forever. Thankfully, Meg beats the odds and comes out as a survivor with Brett by her side. This one is a part of the Swinging Gate series but can be read as a standalone. I had no trouble relating to the characters even though I had not read the other books. Meg and Brett have great passion and chemistry between them. The author has done a great job with the main story and not focused on just the romance bit.
Cute story. The term “yummy” to refer to the male protagonist stated right at the beginning set the tone of annoyance. The term is condescending. The same male character is portrayed as a smug, dense, and chauvinistic. He is not charming and just ruins the story for me. The story is still good but those two things listed above tainted my view of the story.
The third book is by far as good as if not better than the first two! You are compelled to just keep reading. Great story with wonderfully flawed people finding their way thru whatever is thrown at them. Five stars isn't enough.
