I can’t claim to understand everything that went on between Kathleen Willey and Bill Clinton. Maybe if I were a woman it would make more sense. Almost from the first time she met him, Bill began inappropriate flirting. She was working as a campaign volunteer and he was Governor of Arkansas and running for President of the United States. She resisted, but it built and built until during his first term as President, he sexually assaulted her outside the Oval Office at a time when she came to him in desperate need of help. What a snake to take advantage of her in that way! At first thought, one might wonder why didn’t she just tell him to buzz off? I can sort of wrap my head around how such things progress, but a good feminist would have no problem answering that question off the cuff and in detail. So why were they the ones gasping in wonderment at Kathleen’s initial reactions?
As a supervisor in a government Engineering Department in the mid-1990s, I was required to take sexual harassment courses each year. One thing that was pounded into me was that, as a supervisor who had power over a secretary or office aide, if I had any kind of physical relationship with them, consensual or not, it would automatically be considered sexual harassment. Even inappropriate language or jokes were sexual harassment. Legally, it would be presumed that in the case of a powerful man and a woman whose advancement could be aided or impeded by the man, even if such a relationship was initiated by the woman and she voluntarily participated, the man would be guilty of sexual harassment. This was based upon the feminist presumption that the woman could likely be involved with the man based upon a quid pro quo presumption on her part, even if the man never made such a proposal. This law was pushed on the government by feminists who were taking every possible precaution to protect women who, in their job, were subservient to powerful men – obviously a necessary law.
According to the stringent laws passed at the behest of the feminist movement, there is no way in hell that Clinton, the most powerful man in the world, was not guilty of sexual harassment on Lewinsky, an office aide; no matter if she stalked him, no matter if she brought the cigar herself, no matter if people called her a slut, no matter what “the meaning of is, is.” As soon as the stain on Lewinsky’s dress was tied to Bill Clinton, by the definition of sexual harassment, it became obvious that he had committed the crime. This was a definition that feminists fought hard to get. Sadly, they tossed it all overboard as soon as it was clear Bill violated their law.
Bill Clinton has been the object of many claims of rape, sexual harassment, and sexual assault. Who wudda thunk Monica would save a soiled dress for so long, but she did. DNA proved her case. Other victims don’t have the forensic flourish Monica had. Perhaps the others were ganging up on Bill with false claims after Monica broke the veneer of purity shielding him. However, most of the claims were made well before Monica. DNA is not mandatory to prove a case. I wouldn’t say all the claims are true, but it makes a lot of sense that most actual victims would prefer to remain quiet, especially when they see how the press and feminists treat victims. So on balance, I would say his list of victims is greater than all the claims that have been made. On top of that, it is amazing the things that happened to Kathleen when the Clinton machine discovered she was going to be called to testify.
I find Kathleen’s testimony and the evidence that went along with it to be very compelling. Paula Jones got an $850,000 settlement to drop her case against Bill, exactly what she asked for.
Clinton apologists continue to say everyone was lying – it was conspiracy to destroy Bill, everyone except Monica, that is. But they claimed Monica was part of the vast right-wing conspiracy – that was until the stain put the lie to the conspiracy theory. Monica was, by the 1990s definition, a victim of Bill Clinton, a powerful man taking advantage of an aide that he could help or hurt at his will. She quintessentially represents the women feminism claimed to be protecting in all those classes I took. But because it was Clinton, feminists and the press smeared Monica’s reputation, dragging her through every mud hole they could find and pouring water in the dirt where there was no mud – even after the dress proved she was the victim. They compromised a pillar of their reason to exist.
Hillary not only enabled Bill’s abuse of women, she added to his abuse by attacking Bill’s victims personally herself and hiring others to heap it on. The abuse and threats that Kathleen had to endure when she was called upon to testify are an embarrassment to feminism – vast right-wing conspiracy? my aching fungus infected foot!
The leadership of the feminist movement abandoned Bill’s victims and ignored how Hillary expanded the abuse to the victims’ personal and professional lives. By supporting the Clintons, the feminists compromised their moral leadership and damaged the cause of gender equality. Before the Clintons, the feminist movement led the way in working for equality of treatment and respect in the workplace. Patricia Ireland, president of NOW at the time, defended Clinton’s abuse of women thusly, “On balance, women have had an ally in the White House. I mean, we all of knew he was a snake when we voted for him.” Yep, they knew – they enabled the snake – they persecuted the women he victimized. Kathleen thought she had an ally in the White House – in her time of need, she found only the snake.
Since the DNA on the dress proved how Bill used his workplace power to abuse women, the feminists are less vocal in their stand with respect for women’s rightful role in the workplace; probably because wading into it with their former enthusiasm opens them up to justified criticism of their whole-hearted support of Hillary and her personal anti-feminist agenda vs a vs Bill and the women he abuses. They also know she is a snake, but they want women to vote for her anyway. So the feminist movement focuses mostly on abortion now with the occasional obligatory mention of equal pay, which they sort of had to pull back on when it was discovered the women in Obama’s White House were underpaid compared to men. And of course the feminists will squeak out displeasure over a conservative abuser like Bill Cosby, but in many important aspects, they have crippled themselves in the service of a pervert – sold their birthright for a pot of Clinton porridge.

This book was surprisingly interesting. Given all that happened to Kathleen in her life, at least up until the book was written, if I were her I'd a have a very close and meaningful relationship with an astrologer.
I had forgotten, or not known too much in the first place, about Kathleen Willey. Hearing her side of the story was really interesting, plus shows how 15 minutes of fame, wanted or otherwise, can really affect, i.e basically ruin, someone's life. If you don't know, she talks about Bill Clinton as a real, chronic, sexual predator, whose illegal forceful actions are continually covered up by Hillary's smart, ruthless plans. The ending goes on and on about how Hillary is a terrible person, blah, blah, blah, much worse than Bill, who, as I say, she constantly describes as a criminal sexual offender.
I liked the book. But, I will say, for all her talk about Hillary, Bill, Bill and Hillary, their marriage or not really marriage, etc., and all her talk about feminism, how younger girls perceive or now are taught certain things and have really different expectations than women many and even a few decades ago, she NEVER mentions Chelsea, although she does mention, but doesn't dwell on, her own children. And for all the goings on in the White House, all the lawyers, planning, covering up, retaliating, etc. there's virtually no mention of Al Gore. I find that, I guess, surprising.

This book is no literary classic. Katherine Willey gives her side of the Bill Clinton sexual assault allegation. I suspect she's probably right in the essentials, given Clinton's history in other cases like Juanita Broaderick et al. She probably shades the truth to make herself look better. No surprise there.
I got this book back when it seemed that the loathesome Hillary Clinton would get the Democrat nomination. That seems less likely now. Maybe that's why the book was less interesting to me. Just another notch in Bill Clinton's dreary history of sexual obsession.
If she's telling the truth about the threats against her and the break-ins, I wouldn't be surprised. The Clintons are thugs. We are well rid of them.

it was actually, surprisingly, pretty easy to get into for me. however, there were some parts that I feel just dragged on and on but, overall it was a pretty good book. if anyone is thinking about voting for Hillary Clinton you should probably read this book - it shows she's not the person we all thought she was. which I do understand some parts could be exhaggerated or been taken out of context; however, I feel that Willey was overall truthful in her book. it definitely changed the way I was going to vote.

Very believable account of a woman who campaigned for Bill Clinton, volunteered at the White House, and then saw the other side of Bill's sexual addiction, and Hillary's enabling, threatening personality.

A little gossipy toward the end, but an interesting read. A good reminder as to why the nation is best served by the Clintons permanently sidelined.
