A Canadian West Coast baby born and raised, Whitley is married to her high school sweetheart and together they have two beautiful daughters and a fluffy dog. She spends her days making food that gets thrown on the floor, vacuuming Cheerios out from under the couch and making sure that the dog food doesn't end up in the air conditioner. But when the kids are at school and it's not quite wine o'clock, Whitley sits down, avoids the pile of laundry on the couch, and writes.

A lover of all things decadent; wine, cheese, chocolate and spicy erotic romance, Whitley brings the humorous side of sex, the ridiculous side of relationships and the suspense of everyday life into her stories. With single dads, firefighters, Navy SEALs, mommy wars, body issues, threesomes, bondage and role-playing, Whitley’s books have all the funny and fabulously filthy words you could hope for.

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Trope: enemies to lovers
Angst: 😱😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥

My absolute favorite book of the series! The Rebel Heir is a true enemies to lovers... more like a hate a hate to lovers, lol. These two can't stand each other from the beginning, just rubbing each other the wrong way and their push and pull was awesome. The banter between them was laugh out loud funny and Colton's antics to get you running the gambit of loving him to wanting to push him off a cliff, lol. It's well written with an engaging storyline that you have to pay attention to. Tons of mysteries and secrets unfolded in this third and final installment of the Winter Harbor Heroes and all the loose strings of the series were rapped up nicely with a bow. The Rebel Heir is a complete standalone, but best enjoyed when read in series order.

Final book in series is super steamy must read. Colton, a loner, has his hands full and lots of attitude in enemies to lovers. Wide range of emotions and situations that kept me reading. An another must by author team Whitley Cox and Ember Leigh. *I was given an advanced reader copy and am voluntarily giving my honest review.

After a bad breakup, Lily Summers left Portland for the small town of Summer Hills, founded by her family generations earlier, in the hopes of getting to know her estranged grandfather. Unfortunately, he wasn't very receptive to her overtures, so she started spending most of her time in the neighboring town of Winter Harbor, helping Callum Winters fight development by Dunlop Holdings. Dunlop has already left its mark on Summer Hills and Lily can't stand the thought of another town being destroyed by the company's quest for profits. When someone suggests that she run for mayor of Winter Harbor as a way to oust the incumbent, who's colluding with Dunlop, Callum and his family invite Lily to move in with them to establish residency. Callum's youngest brother Colton is the only one who opposes the plan; for some reason he and Lily have rubbed each other the wrong way ever since they met in a Gardening 101 class at the local community center. His brothers quickly grow tired of their bickering and force Colton into accompanying Lily to pick up her belongings from the storage unit she shared with her ex, who shows up to give her a hard time. Colton impulsively pretends to be her new boyfriend, and suddenly, they can't seem to keep their hands off each other. It's not long before their fake relationship starts to feel very real, but will the revelation of secrets from the past drive them apart?

I've loved this entire trilogy, but I think "The Rebel Heir" was my favorite book of the three. I couldn't wait to find out what was behind the "hobbit door" Colton and his brothers found earlier in the series, as well as how the Winters and Summers families were connected. Both of those mysteries kept me guessing until the very end. I also loved the steamy chemistry and witty banter between Colton and Lily. Once they got past their initial animosity, they made a fantastic couple, and I was rooting for them from the very beginning.

Overall, I adored this book and highly recommend it for fans of emotional contemporary romance. It was the perfect ending to a fantastic series, and I can't wait to see what Cox and Leigh come up with next.

I’ve been looking forward to read this book and it didn’t disappoint.
Such a fantastic series and I think Colton & Lilly were my favourites.
Colton and Lilly had an instant love hate relationship and became mortal enemies.
The banter they had was amusing and I could see they had a lot of sexual tension between them that proved to be explosive.
A couple of things niggled me and didn’t quite hit the spot for me, unanswered questions and few things that didn’t quite fit. Eg (A closed up room not opened since Lilly’s grandfathers time yet there was newspapers from the seventies stored there) it didn’t stop me from devouring the book.
I loved the relationship of the three brothers, they started out strangers who could barely look at each other at the start of the series but now made a family that was so very close and happy, and wasn’t toxic like the generations past.

Oh my goodness I loved this book! Lily and Colton are enemies who can not stand each other. However they both love Winter Harbor and would do anything to save it from the big town developers coming to make changes to their small town. They start a fake relationship. Which turns into a hot and heavy relationship. But can it last?
Love this collaboration Whitley Cox and Ember Leigh hope they do another one!

I received this book in exchange for a review:

Wow!! What a finish for the series!!
All the feels with this book... go from wanting to hug Colton, to punch him, to go to yoga with him to wanting to kick him in his pierced peen lol. Hes definitely a rebel! But oh boy is he a fine one!

Lily is one I can relate to somewhat... in that I fight for what's right and wear my heart on my sleeve.

Colton and Lily's banter is the best... especially how he says a different lily each time he addressed her... Lilypad is my fave of course...just love them in lakes and especially with beautiful flowers on them!

Amazing read!

Colton Winters is the youngest of the three brothers serving an inheritance sequester. They must spend 365 nights in their family home to inherit the family fortune. Colton is the third of the series and I might argue, the best. I didn’t know what to think of Colton until this book. He wasn’t outspoken but he wasn’t exactly silent either. His book lets him shine in ways I wasn’t expecting.
Lily Summers is a breath of fresh air for the town. She is friendly and kind even though she’s the granddaughter of the Winters’ worst enemy. She has come to town to reconnect or at least find details of her family history that her mother refuses to share. The fact that she gets turned away doesn’t deter her at all. It just makes her more determined.
Colton and Lily make normal enemies look friendly. They snip at each other constantly with nick names and phrases that made me laugh out loud. That is until they are forced on a trip together that flips the story on its head. I couldn’t turn these pages fast enough to find out all the things that have been building from the first book. I also was rewarded with the sexy times that I know I will get from Whitley Cox and Ember Leigh.

If you would have told me at the beginning of this series that Colton would be my favorite brother, I wouldn’t have believed you. However, the authors Whitley and Ember have never let me down when it comes to blowing my mind.

Colton and Lily’s story was the ultimate enemies to lovers (my absolute favorite trope). Their banter and sexual tension was perfection.

What really endeared me to this book, and the series as a whole, was the growth of the relationship and family connection between the brothers. In my opinion, this is what really made this series the best. These three truly had no connection other than their DNA.

This book can be read as a standalone, however my suggestion is you read from the beginning to get the full effect of not only the brothers and their relationship but the mystery of the hobbit door, which is revealed in this book.

I received this as an arc from one of the authors and I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.

This was an amazing enemies to lovers romance. It was the final book in the series and I simply loved it. Colton and Lily kept budding heads and thinking the worst of each other. That initial animosity led to explosive chemistry and amazing steamy bits. The story was so entertaining and I couldn’t put it down. My only little concern was that I felt the ending was a little bit rushed. But I was really excited to see that a Christmas story was in the works because I’m not really to let go of Winter Harbor yet.

The Rebel Heir was the perfect ending to this series. Colton and Lily had me on the edge of my seat with all the pushing and pulling. The secrets that have had us holding our breath from the very beginning are finally revealed piece by piece taking you by surprise with each revelation. The chemistry between these two is electric and the heat and the steam is sizzling hot. Colton had you teetering between love and hate at times as the wall he had built around his heart held strong until a love he never expected shattered it to pieces. A story filled with drama, romance, passion and at times was highly emotional will tick each and every box.

We finally find out why there’s bad feelings between Lily and Colton, what’s the history of the dislike for the Winters brothers in the town and most importantly - just what is behind the Hobbit door!!
It’s not all plain sailing, plenty of twists and turns (some even surprised me!) but it all wraps up and it’s a perfect end to an amazing series. Definitely worth every missed minute of sleep and I highly recommend you download it as soon as possible.
Well done Whitley Cox and Ember Leigh, the highlight of my year so far.

This is the 3rd book of The Winter Harbor series. It was a slow start for me but then I just couldn't put it down. I love a good love hate story. This story has a lot of drama, heat and passion. I hope to see more of Colton the rebel and Lily in future books. Highly recommend this series.

Colton and Lily’s story is a delightful enemies to lovers, a feud between families that spanned decades with no answers to their questions. I enjoyed the witty banter, the steaminess, understanding, love and companionship they found with each other and that scared Colton, he didn’t think he deserved love and family, he’s a nomad, travels the world and then he met Lily Summers. Summer and Winters are like oil and water, but that was about to change. Throw in a slimy ex-boyfriend and a secret that Lily’s been keeping from Colton could ruin everything.

Small town, enemies to lovers romance but big on the hidden secrets. Colton's past is a little more intriguing than expected. A rebel, but he likes tea, does yoga, and gardens. Lily's past is more mysterious. Their family history is inflaming. What really happened between the Winters and the Summers? Colton's arrogance is tempered by his love for family. Lily's passion for causes is tempered by her past experiences. Together, these two are fire and ice.

Score!!!!

Colton and Lily start as enemies but a mutual cause and intense chemistry pull them together.
A past with secrets in both families, hatred, rivalry, torn lovers and scandals are part of their lives plus dealing with a corporation and an old lover as a new enemy.
Secrets are revealed, love is found and a new family formed!!
Hot, sexy and a satisfying conclusion to a great trilogy!!!

This story was the epitome of the enemies to lovers trope. These authors definitely captured the love/hate relationship when they wrote Lily and Colton. The mystery of the families added an element of excitement to the book that isn't always found in other romance books. I am definitely going to read more from these authors and hope that maybe Lily's sisters will get their own books.

Colton & Lily always seem to rub each other wrong but when circumstances cause them to work together they discover there not unlike.
Unfortunately not everyone is happy and the past is coming to the present.
A Winter & summer working together had been unheard of but what caused the rift?
In this book we really learn more of the past and what happened.

Oh my gosh, I've been waiting for this book for so long, it looked like years in the making. Lol
I know I know, dramatic much?
This happens to me, every single time, I love the authors and adore the series.
Can you blame me?
Whitley Cox and Ember Leigh, have this amazing series that will swoon you into a state of happiness, feelings, and desire... Trust me. But that's not all it will evoke.
The Rebel Heir is their latest release and it's the third book from the Winter Harbor series.
One huge piece of advice, you need to read the first two books from this series, or else, nothing will make sense. I mean, you can read it as a standalone but you'll miss out on a lot.
This book explores the lives of Colton and Lily.
Colton is a loner and Lily is a firecracker.
What do they have in common? They can't stand each other...
But you know that saying "There's a thin line between love and hate" so when they have to work together...
OMG, I loved this book so freaking much.
Perfect plot, well written, super engaging, intense, and hot...
I really love and enemies to lovers romance. It gives us a different dynamic, and for me, that will lead me to read nonstop.
I adore a good banter, and a good cat-and-mouse game and these two are over the top.
If one says pull, the other will scream push... So so good.
Of course, we will get drama and danger hidden in the shadows and that gives this book a bigger appeal.
Guys, it was impossible to stop once I started to read it.
In some parts, I was laughing my head off and the next I was screaming for them to be careful.
You should have seen my husband's face when I started laughing one minute and cursing the next...
I knew that this book was doing to be amazing and it was so much more.
I can say that this series is one of my favorites.
Another amazing book girls, you guys nailed it and I'm sad we won't have more from these brothers and their families. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Amazing!
Have loved reading this series I personally I think they've save the best til last. Although Colton have rubbed each other up the wrong way since they met they agree to set aside their differences to save Winter Harbour. The hot sexual chemistry between them is off the charts & end up giving in but agree that it was a one time thing however whilst trying to save the town, find out why the Winter's & Summer's hate each other, the town hating the Winter's family they end up being tempted over & over again see feelings change but refuse to tell each other. Hoping to save the town from developers the Colton, Carson, Callum, Amaya & Harlow help Lily become Mayor but it has twists & turns, secrets & discoveries from both families. Colton & Lily's relationship which started out as fake gradually changes but neither will admit it to each other but Lily's ex Dennis is not only helping to destroy the town but also Lily's chance at happiness. Lily knows she has to tell Colton & his family about her past but Dennis gets there first but without even hearing Lily's side he accuses her off horrible things destroys any happiness Lily was starting to feel. No matter what his family still love Lily & together they continue to uncover more of the mystery & when her mum tells her about what had happened to start the war between the families it looks like they could save the town but im not sure if Lily & Colton's war could be saved, I really want Lily to get her happy ever after but I hate the way Colton has treated her. There's danger, secrets, twist & turns that I never saw coming together with a few emotional times.
This is definitely a series I recommend reading.

The Rebel Heir was a happy/sad book for me. Happy because it was as exciting and magical as I had imagined (based on his brother’s books) and Sad because I had to see the end of the Harbor Hero books. I fell in love with the quaint little harbor town and its people - yes even the cranky old timers. The author wove a magical tale with these three young men at the heart of the storyline. Three estranged brothers who are forced together for a year if they want their inheritance. But these three found so much more and not just their love interests, after all this is a romance series.

The Rebel Heir is the final book about the youngest brother, Colton. The man who became a loner and seemed to be wandering through life looking for a purpose. He has many talents and he seems to rebel against them. He deems himself unloveable, due to his upbringing, and keeps people at bay, usually by arguing. Nothing is more true than his annoyance with Lily: the happy-go-lucky, quirky woman who has a gardening plot across from him. She gets on his very last nerve and when they get thrown together, in the fight to save the town from the “good ole boys”, the story takes a crazy twist with lots of humor, sass and romance. Thrown in the continued search for answers as to why the town hates the Winter’s name and you have one outstanding read.

Grab this series up asap. You won’t regret it. While you don’t Have to read the books in order, this reader Highly recommends it as the storyline’s main plot is carried out through all three books of the Winter Harbor Heros series.

This is the last of the Winters boys to fall! Lily Summers loves Winter Harbor and would love to live there. She has a garden at the community center and she hates her neighbour Colton Winters. He is arrogant, aloof, testy, sexy and so full of himself!!! When Lily needs help, she has to go to him and put aside her pride to ask for it. Their families are sworn enemies but when the brothers offer to help her, she has no choice and together, they will change the small town. Secrets are unveiled, and battles with the community, the developer and her ex boyfriend will have to be fought as a family, but when somebody attacks the Winter's holdings, they will have to dig deep to find the culprit. The story is a whirlwind affair of sexual tension between Lily and Colton, where the one and done rule will not apply. They complete each other and together they are better, but will Colton see that Lily is not leaving him or will he believe the absurdities coming from her ex? I wish there were more stories to come about this little town and it's mysteries that are yet to be unveiled. Maybe, Lily's sisters? This is amazing storytelling from both Whitley Cox and Ember Leigh and hope to read more from these two!

I was so looking forward to Colton’s story because he was the most mysterious of the Winters brothers. There was no woman in his past, no romance to speak of it seemed and other than yoga and piercings and real estate, there wasn’t much known about his life before Winter Harbor.
Now we have more answers and I am totally here for it! Colton and Lily are a great pair even before they started steaming up the pages.
The set up of this story is so unique in a lot of ways and that’s what made it so enjoyable. At first glance Colton & Lily seem like total opposites but we get to learn a lot about them both to see they are actually both rebels in different packaging. She looks like a good girl but in her heart she is as dirty as Colton.
Put them together, two dirty birds with salty tongues and give them a purpose, to save Winter Harbor and this was an incredibly fun story that I devoured. Between being heroes and falling for each other, there was so much happening.
We got a lot of answers but there are still a few more mysteries left that I hope will be solved…soon.
Such a fun and steamy read!

5 ⭐️ 🔥 Rebel Heir -best in the series and oh so satisfying!

The bad boy of the Colton brothers finally has his book with Rebel Heir. Small town romance, fake relationship and chemistry that is combustible, it kept me reading to the very last page.

Do you like guys that ride motorcycles, with lots of attitude and that slightly dirty look, Colton is your guy.

Lily is new to town. Actually a descendant from Summerville, who is trying to get close to her grandfather, who doesn’t want anything to do with her, let alone let her live with him. So Winter Haven is the only place she can find something affordable, but barely.

Colton doesn’t like Lily. She’s a Summer, and what she is doing in Winter Haven? He thinks she doesn’t belong and is behind the sabotage of his roses at the community’s garden. But she looks mighty fine in those yoga pants. And his brothers and their girlfriends love her. Especially her passion to save the town from the fate of being like Summerville.
The sparks are flying and then they are pretending to date, giving her a permanent spot in town to protect the agenda of saving Winter Harbor. Many secrets are finally revealed.

Whitley Cox has been a go to author for me for a while now and when she collaborated with Ember Leigh for the Winter Harbor Heroes series, it was epic! This is the third book in the series and I would advise reading the prior books first. Colton is the youngest brother and he takes some warming up to as he can be a little gruff. Lily has recently moved to pick up the pieces of her life after a bad breakup. When Colton and Lily cross paths, you could cut the tension with a knife…They do not get along at all. However, when a developer is threatening their quaint little town can these two put aside their differences and fight on the same team? I have loved this series from its inception. Overall, it is a warm- hearted storyline with steam that proves that opposites do attract. The three brothers have come a long way and shown what it means to learn to live and thrive together after starting out as strangers. I hope that there is more to come with the brothers but regardless, I cannot wait for more from these authors. I recommend this book.

I've LOVED the Winter Harbor Heroes, and after experiencing all the goodness that is The Rebel Heir, I have to say this dream team saved the best for last with Colton's story. Our hero doesn't do anything close to relationships with women, and he's fine that way but he never saw our heroine, Lily, coming. He & Lily draw battle lines from the jump, and while she's from his family's big enemy family, they've decided to hate each other all on their own. Here's the deal, usually in an enemies to lovers situation, the hero tends to get on my last nerve, but thankfully, Lily gave as good as she got. Things get even more chaotic when they're forced into a fake relationship situation to help the town but this is also when the sparks that have been flying really escalate to a fiery blaze. All of this is already entertaining, but there's more in the kicker of suspense. This element had the twists coming in hot since there are secrets & unscrupulous developers so it got my heart racing. I LOVED everything about this story, and everyone needs it in their lives! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

5 Star Review of The Rebel Heir (Winter Harbor #3) by Whitley Cox & Ember Leigh

Book three in the Winter Harbor series was a fabulous addition to the series. It was entertaining with characters whose story you cannot help but quickly become invested in. I really related to bad boy of the family Colton Winter and the woman who turned him inside out, Lily Summers.
I love stories set in small towns and I could easily imagine myself in Winter Harbor. I really enjoyed this romance as Colton and Lily fought the attraction that sizzled between them/ Both refused to accept what those around them could see plainly; that they are meant to be together.
As secrets are finally revealed and mysteries solved, with it bring them together or tear them apart? The story flowed well and I have no idea which author wrote what or where one finished and the other took over.
Thoroughly entertaining story and one that ticked all the boxes for me.
