Blakely has been dumped by her ex a few months before, and now she has to work with him too. She needs to attend a Christmas company party but she doesn't really want to. Kellan can stay at the apartment of his brothers girlfriend... Little does he know he will get whacked by her roommate. 🤣🤣 Sparks fly and they fall head over heels for each other and show her awful ex his place. Insta-love ,sweet, romantic, fun to read ,with steamy scenes and with an awesome HEA😍😍😍😍

Fabulous, I absolutely love this one. It was a nice, quick, short read.
Kellan meet Blakely when he's in her condo about to take a shower. Blakely's roommate invited Kellan to stay with them not knowing she was going to be home. Blakely hits Kellan over the head with a nutcracker, then calls her roommate thinking she killed him. Her roommate asks her is she got her text explaining to her her boyfriends brother would be crashing at their place for a few days. When Kellan comes around he tells her he'll find a hotel to stay at, she tells him because it's so late he can stay the night. The next morning Kellan wakes to the smell of coffee because Blakely said she had an early meeting he assumes she's not home. He walks out in just his underwear and she's on a conference call with her boss. She dated her boss after college and he wants to know who the half naked man is. Hearing half the conversation Kellan tells her boss he's coming with her to the Christmas party. They make a deal that he can stay at the condo the weekend if he comes with her to the party. After work Blakely finds Kellan standing outside the condo, she finds out he is playing Santa at a kids Christmas party and his ride share is late. She offers to take him, he offers to take her out to dinner afterwards, and she accepts. When they arrive she gets pulled into volunteering, they are short handed. They stop at a burger joint on the way home and she begins to choke, he preforms the Heimlich on her. When they get home they decide to watch a movie, they talk and get to know each other before they have to fake a relationship for work. When they begin to talk about how they met, they get physical, he backs her to the wall, and she reaches up and kisses him. He deepens the kiss, desperate to taste her. Kellan carries her to her bedroom, they strip each other's clothes off, he lick, suck and delved her into her folds. He rolls over and pulls her on top of him, he asks her if she is sure about this and she tells him yes. She lifts her hip and slides down on top of him, as his eyes roll back in his head. She rides him slowly, he rolls her over, hooking her leg over his arm, then eases into her. Afterwords, they spend the time between the covers and watching a movie, she tells him she's disappointed she won't be making cookies with her mom. Kellan takes her to the kitchen to make a batch of cookies. They talk about where they grew up and about their parents. When they are getting ready for the Christmas Party, Kellan gets a phone call about a job he apply for months ago. They want him as soon as possible so he has to leave right away and catch a flight. He's going to miss her Christmas Party, but this is a once in a lifetime opportunity but he doesn't want to let her down. Blakely tells him she can handle it, they were going to break up anyway tonight. When Kellan get home to pack his brother, Dom asks him what he's doing, how's Mama Mae going to handle him moving half way around the world, he tells him he'll call her at the airport. Dom tells him there's more to life than money, he tells him he's never talked about a woman the way he does about Blakely. Dom tells him he so worried about doing everything right, he's not listening to his heart. Dom tells him he thinks if he does everything right that he'll never be in a position to loose everything. Kellen tells him that's not it, Dom tells him that's exactly it. Then he asks him what's he going to do when someone else is loving Blakely. She arrives at the Party and sees her ex right away has spotted her, he makes his way to her asking her where her mystery man is. She tells him they broke up tonight before the party, he tells her he never believed she's find someone to replace him. He grabs her by her arm and walks her into the coat closet, telling her they need to talk privately. He tells her if she wanted to make him jealous it worked, he never wanted to break up with her, his dad made him do it. She tells him to let go of her, he tells her he still wants her. She tells him it doesn't matter they're through, she's not the same women, she not going to let him walk all over her. She hears Kellan's voice saying that's his girl, her ex asks who's that, she tells him to let go of her. She jerks her knee up connecting with his crotch, the light flicks on as he lunges for her, she sees Kellan lungs forward. Then she hears flesh connecting with flesh. Her ex ask Kellan if he thinks he knows what Blakely wants and he tells him yes, she wants, a man to love her for who she is, not what she can do for him. Kellan tells him if he comes near her again he'll make sure it's the last Christmas he celebrates. They head to the bar and she asks him what is he doing here, he tells her he knows it in his gut they belong together. He tells her he doesn't have anything to offer her, she tells him she doesn't need that. They grab their seat and have a meal, when promotions are announced Blakely doesn't get the one she wanted. Her ex's current girlfriend get it. Blakely takes Kellan to play poker and blackjack, they have an ice bucket full of chips and they win on all the bid, winning several trips. Her ex finds her and tells her to enjoy her weekend, come Monday she'll be looking for another job. She tells him she was planing on giving him at least two weeks notice. Kellan comes with her coat and asks her if she told her ex about the good news, they will be starting a new business. They walk out of the party, towards their future, spending it together. A few months later Blakely organizes a party for the woman and children's shelter, getting donations, from her vendors. As he leads her through the door tiny bubbles are floating all over, he tells her this is for her. Then he drops to one knee, he tells her they wouldn't of met if it hadn't of been for the shelter, he asks her if she'll marry him and she tells him yes. He asks her if she wants to look in the box, she tells him she doesn't care what's in the box, it can be a bread tie and she'd still marry him. She wants to marry him because he brings out the best in her, when she's with him she feels twenty times stronger. He tells her he loves her and she tells him she loves him. He tells her thank you in case he forgets to tells her in seventy five years. She asks him for what, he tells her for making him the luckiest man in the world everyday of their lives. As tiny bubbles float around them he kisses her, his soulmate, the woman who made him whole.

During my holiday reading, I read One Night with Santa by Eve London, which is part of the Curves for Christmas series.
I absolutely love this series, Eve did a wonderful job of making sure it was similar to the first book, but still made sure it was different. The characters were fun and snarky, I always love a curvy girl story which just made this even better.
Blakely is working at her ex's family business, which is awkward but they make it worse when they let her know she must attend the Christmas party. Especially since she doesn't have a date, but she will figure it and be the strong woman she is. Yet, when the hunk of a santa breaks into her house and she knocks him out, she finds out he is only her roommates boyfriends brother.
All Kellen wanted to do was go to his brother's girlfriends apartment to get some sleep after a long day. That is until he got knocked out by the cute curvy girl in candy cane pajamas. Once he comes to, they come to an agreement that he can stay but must attend her party with her as her date.
However, it becomes complicated when he decides he wants more and this isn't fake. Can he prove it to her or will he mess everything up?

This is another instalove book about Mama’s boys. Boys that she selflessly raised, and they have now become adults. I’ve enjoyed this entire serious, beautifully written by Eve London.
Kellan is an out of work bachelor, and is trying to survive, by dressing as Santa, wherever he is needed. Both, Kellan and his twin brother, Dom, trade Santa Claus gigs. Kellan is in town, and staying at Dom’s girlfriends apartment, an apartment shared by Blakely.
Blakely is a young woman justly recently dumped by her boyfriend. A boyfriend who is selfish, and hurtful to her. She arrives home to find a stranger in her apartment, and defends herself, until the error is explained. Both Kellan, and Blakely have immediate attraction to each other.
Kellan agrores to attend Blakely’s employees Christmas party, but an employment opportunity is offered to him, and he decides to take. This leaves Blakely to attend the party alone, and while there, her ex harasses her. Kellan has canceled his trip, and returns to save Blakely.
The couple finally accept that they truly love each other, and obtain their HEA.

Blakely thinks that Kellan has broken into her apartment and knocks him out with a Nutcracker. After calling her roommate she realizes that Kellan is her roommate’s boyfriend’s brother. Feeling embarrassed she tells Kellan he can stay at the apartment. Kellan is out of work and working as a Santa at various events. One being at the support centre he, his mother and brother lived at for a time when he was younger. Kellan overhears Blakely talking to her boss and her ex about the upcoming holiday party for their office. He can tell by her demeanour that Blakely is being intimidated into going. He pretends to be her boyfriend and plans to go to the party with her to show up her ex. A phone call may change everything. This was a sweet but steamy story. Kellan was embarrassed about his upbringing but Blakely only sees the wonderful, kind and caring man he is. Blakely finds her backbone after her ex does yet another number on her confidence. Looking forward to more books from this Holiday themed series. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Blakely, the female lead, is shocked to find an intruder in her apartment and knocks him over the head with a wooden nutcracker. Kellan, the male lead, was just planning to borrow the empty bed at his brother’s girlfriend’s house on his way to be Santa at a charity event. Once they get past the misunderstanding, there’s an immediate attraction. Then Kellan is offered an overseas job starting immediately…
This short story is dual POV, well written, and an amusing Christmas romance. I laughed out loud at their initial meeting and the awkwardness that prompted. I enjoyed their interactions and banter and appreciated Kellan’s offer to help Blakely with her ex/boss. I understood their initial reluctance to share the hard parts of their childhood with each other and admired the courtesy Blakely showed her jerk of an ex, and the joy in walking away.

One Night with Santa is a very cute, though very quick, holiday read featuring a unique meet cute, a sarcastic male lead with a heart of gold, and a smarmy ex who gets the comeuppance he deserves.
While I did enjoy the relationship between Kellan and Blakely, I don't think I'd ever be able to fall in love like that in the span of forty-eight hours. It did feel a little rushed to me in that aspect, especially since neither one of them really knew anything about the other's past.
I loved the scenes at the shelter, though! It was so heartwarming that Kellan did so much volunteering there and that Blakeley was so eager to help as well. The world could definitely use more people like them in it!
I'm looking forward to continuing this series and reading more about Mamma Mae's boys and their happily-ever-afters!

She calls her roommate Gloria who is with her boyfriend Dom. Gloria asks if Blakely read her email. Santa is Dom’s brother Kellan. Whoops! Blakely sees the message now and apologizes to Kellan.
Next morning he strolls in the kitchen in his boxers and gives an eyeful to Blakely’s bosses who are on a video call. One is her ex Gio who demands to know who the almost-naked man is.

While Kellan is in town he has been given the key to Blakely's place from Blakely's best friend Gloria. But Blakely does not know that. When Blakely sees Kellan, dressed in a Santa suit, in her bathroom she thinks he is a bad Santa robber and promptly clocks him on the head with a nutcracker! And the very next morning Kellan walks into her kitchen in his boxers never realizing that she is on a zoom meeting with her boss and her ex. Fake date begins because Blakely's ex is a real creep and Kellan sees that immediately. I love this story. Laugh out loud story with the perfect amount of steam from Kellan and Blakely. They are the best couple ever. Best Santa story ever!!

I would love to find a Santa like Kellan break into my house hehe.
This was another great one night book from this series.
Although we didn't see mama Mae in this story she still had a hand in Kellan upbringing.
I loved the dynamic between Kellan and Blakely.
Blakely was a single heart broken girl but I loved her fiesty attitude.
Their meet cute was very funny and brutal haha.
The hot chemistry between them was instant.
So one thing led to another and Kellan was her fake boyfriend for her Xmas party.
Her ex was a horrible creature and needed to be put in place.
This book was a quick read but definitely had all the feels.
Plenty of steam too.
Give it a read you will love it, who doesn't love romance around Christmas time.

Blakely needs a hot date for her work party. Just recently out of a serious relationship. Blakely has to go to her company Christmas party and she expects to see her ex with his new gf. She wants to look hot and happily in love and make him regret ever breaking her heart.
Kellen had grown up going in and out of shelters and all he wanted as an adult was to be steady and successful. After losing his job during the holidays, he has been taking gigs as a Santa, which he isnt to thrilled about.
OVERALL THOUGHTS
This was okay. Nothing really special and the smut was average. I was bored for most of it. It was a very easy read

Blakely needs a hot date for her work party. Just recently out of a serious relationship. Blakely has to go to her company Christmas party and she expects to see her ex with his new gf. She wants to look hot and happily in love and make him regret ever breaking her heart.
Kellen had grown up going in and out of shelters and all he wanted as an adult was to be steady and successful. After losing his job during the holidays, he has been taking gigs as a Santa, which he isnt to thrilled about.

This was okay. Nothing really special and the smut was average. I was bored for most of it. It was a very easy read

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. I thought that this was a sweet and funny romance with plenty of steam. Kellan is another of Mama Mae's boys. He had come back to town for a short while. Neither Blakely nor Kellan expected to meet that night, but it was an experience to remember. They have an instant attraction that can't be denied. He's ready to do whatever it takes to make her his. A little drama, family, friendship and plenty of sparks. I enjoyed both characters and their love story.

“One Night with Santa” is such an entertaining book from start to finish. I loved this so charming, holiday, insta-love story featuring Blakely and Kellan. The sparks started with their meet cute and just kept getting more interesting. Their past breakups and personal emotion conflicts lends to the depth of the characters making them even more likeable and the perfect couple. Blakely and Kellan reach for their happy ever after as they continue to move through the decisions life has thrown to them. This well-written story is full of heart-felt, holiday spirit with a feistiness spice and is worth the read. “One Night with Santa” is part of the Bachelors of Broken Bend) series.

Really enjoyed this sweet, love at second sight story between a sexy santa and a curvy girl in a candy cane nighty. I say second sight as their first sight was rather unusual with an ouch element. Kellan and Blakely are a very likeable and sexy couple. If I was to describe my idea of Santa it would be Kellan 🥵🔥. A well written story, that has a very happy ending. Glad they both realised their worth and together became a power couple. Miss London kindly sent me this arc for an honest review, so thank you Eve. . Mamma mae certainly brought up some fine specimen of men.

Blakey and Kellan are a great fit. Both have grown up with troubled mothers and are ashamed of it. Blakely has just been dumped by her boyfriend and is trying to get past that. Her roommate is out of town for the weekend and thinks Blakely will be too when she lets her boyfriend’s brother, Kellan use their apartment. Blakely knocked him out with a pan and the chemistry has ignited. They instantly like each other and the romance begins. This was a fun, fast story that can be read alone.

Loved this exciting quick read. The way Kellan and Blakely meet is like wow. Loved the connection they were able to forge so quickly. It was great when Blakely realized she was worth so much more than was going in her life. This book will grab you and give you that feel good feeling. Will Kellan be there for her when she really needs it or not?

One Night With Santa is a sweet, insta love story with crazy fun banter that had me turning the pages to find out what would happen next for these perfect for each other characters. I loved the characters and the way the author brought them together. This is a great addition to the Curves For Christmas series and I look forward to reading the rest of this series. Turns out her roommate is dating Kellen’s brother and offer her bedroom to him while she is out of town and he is in town on a job. These two bond quickly and soon hearts are involved but can they really work or are they just a holiday fling in this sweet read.

What a great holiday read! Love this story. Blakely is feeling lost and alone. Kellan is trying to find his feet after getting laid off. With the best meet cute, a shallow slimy ex and two people that instantly connect, this is the best short story for the holidays to get you feeling all warm and fuzzy. You will fall in love with these two and it ends with the best HEA you will not be disappointed.

Loved It!! This is a Blakely and Kellan’s story. This was a great little Christmas story. Blakely is trying to get away from the company she works at to start her own company. Kellan plays a Santa every other year with his brother. This will have you believing in Christmas miracles. They got their happily ever after.

This was a great fake relationship romance. It was such a sweet story and filled with both steam and humor. Kellan and Blakely had one of the most memorable meet cutes that I’ve ever read. It might not have been love at first sight but it definitely packed a punch. I loved it.

This was an enjoyable story with interesting characters. I loved how Blakely and Kellan met. I thought their banter was fun and their chemistry, hot. I loved how donating time to charity projects was a key thing for both of them and really let their personalities shine through. The ending was great and really had all the feels :D
