Very silly, with mostly light-heartedness and positivity throughout. The art style changes near the end to match the cover more, but I didn't mind the difference. (Seeing an artist's work evolve over time can be really neat, too.)

Overall it's an all-ages comic. Some concepts such as predation (mostly wolves hunting various prey) and the occasional nihilism might lead to questions from younger readers, but that's not inherently a bad thing. There's some blood on one page, but it's really cartoony and part of a comical imagining.

Light-hearted, sweet and affirming - 'Awoo!' is a fantastic collection of four-panel comics with a strong cast of characters. You can see how the drawing style evolved over time too, which is fascinating.

While I wish I were like Kevin, I am definitely more like Pink Wolf, but it's fair to say the supporting cast are just as important. Just don't mention Toby's name...
