Nicky and Ken are given the most difficult case in their careers, to find the kidnapped daughter of the second most important man in the US. There is enormous pressure and at the same time, lies, jobs badly done, and her personal loss of a sister coming upfront when dealing with it. What will she make of Felix's recommendation that she talks to her father about her sister? How is her relationship with Ken changing? All Alone is a fast-paced story that provides good entertainment for a few hours. I thank the author for the ARC.

FBI Special Agent Nicky Lyons and her team are tasked with finding missing girls on a list. But all of that is put on hold when the Vice President of the United States' daughter goes missing from a private beach vacation spot. Can she find her in time? And what secrets are the VP keeping?

From the first page, this book sucks you in and tightens its hold on you. You can't come up for air until it's done.

OMG! I don't know why, after reading so many of Blake Pierce's books, I am surprised and shook by each book I finish and can't wait to start the next one in the series.

I LOVE EVERYTHING aboutthe Nicky Lyons series! I mean, she's BAU, which, if you know me, you KNOW what a HUGE Criminal Minds Fanatic I am!!!

PLUS it's practically true crime, basically based on true crime stories, which you KNOW I LOVE!!!

And it has a bit of romance AND kick Ass women in heavily men dominated occupations WITHOUT lessening or weakening the men and without lessening the feminine qualities in the women.

Why SOCIETY struggles with this concept that Blake so easily embraces in each and every novel he writes is beyond me.

But I am grateful he does.

On to the next book in this series. #whodunit

I like this author - he produces a lot of books with different protagonists. This series is fun, although I must say the books seem to be getting shorter. There is a developing relationship between Nicky and her partner Ken Walker, Nicky is continuing her search (and guilt) for her sister, and they are assigned a case concerning the Vice President's daughter. Nice book.

Nicky Lyons - FBI specialist - great FBI training - can outsmart anyone one because, you got it, FBI training. OMG how many times do they have to tell us she is from the FBI and how wonderful she is? This series is bad! The writing is juvenile. The editing atrocious!

The Vice President's daughter has been abducted. Nicky & Ken are instructed to find her. With her own secret service agent/bodyguards watching, how could she disappear? There's a new guy she's been seeing. Could he have picked her up in his boat? Lots going on here! Great book!
