Finally.

We had feelings for each other and denied it. We fell for each other and we messed it up.

We’ve grown and changed, but through it all—even the hardest moments—we never gave up on each other. We never gave up on us.

Now I know we never will.

After everything, we have our chance to get it right.

I have no doubt it will be hard. It’ll push our limits and test our love. We both have plenty more learning and growing to do.

But this time, we’re in it together, and no matter what, we’re going to keep building our life together, stronger every day.

This is just the beginning, and I love knowing that wherever the road leads us, his hand will be wrapped around mine for the entire journey.

Because it’s always been us, and it always will be.

Follow Rae and Aaron as they embark on the journey to their happily ever after filled with plenty more twists and turns, emotional & swoony moments, and so much love.

Can I give this book more than 5⭐️s ?!?!?!?

💗 You have to love with your heart or you’ll never really love at all.

💗🤍 - ..sew my skin to yours.
-I’m not sure if that’s gross or romantic.

🤍 I met a couple at the Baseball Hall of Fame who reminded me of your grandparents. And us. Playful and loving. They told me that sometimes life pulls two people apart so it can make them strong enough to be together.

🤍 I’m home.
In so many different ways, I’m home.

🤍💗🤍💗🤍💗🤍💗🤍💗🤍💗🤍💗🤍💗

If the last book broke me... this book absolutely healed me... it's everything I could have asked for and more. After reading Love Like This I know 100% for sure that as much as I hated all that they went through in BLT it was a neccesary evil. They needed to have all those ups and downs so they could grow. And boy did they ever. THE GROWTH!! The growth in Aaron and Rae, both separately and together had me in tears sometimes. It's absolutely beautiful how the dug and clawed through. They put in the work, fought for themselves, eachother and their happily ever after. Aaron and Rae's story is absolutely beautiful. It's raw and real. It's an emotional rollercoaster. It's heartbreaking but it's also healing. LOVE LIKE THIS is the perfect "ending" for Aaron and Rae.

All the little moments. & the big ones. The epic kiss in the rain. Getting back together. Learning to talk things out. Growing. Excelling in their studies/jobs. Friendsgiving. Supporting eachother and their friends. The way Aaron takes care of Rae. They way Rae doesn't give up. The way tacos fix everything. The recreation of the love Notes. Their first apartment. The proposal. & more! Every thing about this book I loved so much. I mean there were a few that I could do without. You'll know when you read. But they helped them grow. I could go on and on about this book... Bethany out did herself again. This book, this series, this author... if you aren't reading her work, you're missing out. Small town romances with ALL the feels!! And I'm here for it all! 🤍

I can’t even begin to describe all of my feelings over this book. There’s so much to say and yet, words are failing me. The conclusion (well mostly) to Aaron and Rae’s story was exactly what I’d been hoping for.

After wanting to knock sense into both for the last book, this book gave me everything I wished and hoped for them. Aaron has finally learned how to work through things going on with himself, and how to process things when Rae is going through something and he needs a minute. Rae has also learned to stop being so reliant on herself, and her not wanting to be a burden on others around her. Both characters showed so much growth.

I absolutely adored every little glimpse of side characters - ok maybe there was one of those points that I didn’t LOVE, but for good reason (when you read it you’ll know). Seeing characters from another series too, since their lives intertwined, was absolutely everything.

There’s so much emotion in this book, and it really took me to a place where I started thinking about my own past and the ways that I related to different people…especially Rae. I couldn’t have gotten a better ending to their story.

LOVE LIKE THIS By Bethany Monaco Smith

Rae and Aaron still want to give their relationship another go.

😊What i liked -

✔ Friends to Lovers/Second Chance
✔ I do not think i have said it enough (though i think i have), am super duper jealous of their support system. (i really do want to borrow me one of all of those plus the new ones added)
✔ It was heartwarming to see how they have matured individually and as well as a couple.(but not without a few hiccups on the way)
✔ With a sweet conclusion to their story it was cute seeing the start of another rollercoaster love story.
✔ I laughed my ass off when Miles commented about coffee and cramps not being best for each other. (Dude you do not come in-between a girl and her love for coffee)
✔ It's full of drama, love, laughter, heartbreaks and friendship.

🤔What could have been better -

✔ My heart broke for Trevor, but what angered me more is was Greg's behavior. I wanted to sock him. (i understand marriage changes a few things but this much, I took it rather personally)

📚Who Should read :

👶Beginners
💝Romance Lovers
💕Friends to Lovers

📈My Rating : 4/5

P.s- It's a perfect conclusion to Aaron and Rae's story. I am really looking forward to Joel and Sarah but please please do not put Trevor in-between their equation.( though i have a feeling he will be)

Thank you Bethany Monaco Smith for a copy

Aaron Freaking Cooper is the swooniest ever. This book is a little less roller coaster than the previous three but still is filled with so many emotions. You are going to laugh with all the stuff this group of friends are capable of, like talking about sweats lol, IYKYK. And you are going to cry with all the hard stuff happening to them… heartbreaking stuff. They are really strong and together they are stronger. Rae and Aaron are finally have their HEA, sort of, but yes they are. Rae parents and grandparents are amazing. I’m so happy to read this book, is so romantic, so so romantic. I’m so excited for the future of all the characters in this series and all the books in the future of this series.

5 star read. Loved this. The last full book on Rae and Ace...this book just made all the up and downs and the emotional roller-coaster so worth it. To read and be enthralled in this story, makes you just want a Love Like This. Thank to the author for making us part of this wonderful romantically real story.

Oh my gosh, this conclusion to Aaron and Rae’s story was sweet swoony perfection!!! I’m absolutely obsessed with this series, and I’ve been rooting for them to get their happily ever after since the beginning. And I’m so pleased with how everything turned out!!! Rae is such a sweetheart, and I admire her because even though she went through something rough in this one, she continued to be her strong, capable, and compassionate self and was able to move on. As for Aaron freaking Cooper… *major swoon* he’s the definition of perfection. I love how he continued to work on both himself and his relationship with Rae, and I really feel like everything fell into place for the two of them. 5 freaking stars!!!

The end, but not.

We have our last book for Aaron and Rae, but we will still see them throughout the books for our other characters. This book wasn't as large of a roller coaster as the other, bit still hit the emotional buttons. The are at a good point by the end. Hopefully we see more growth in the other books.

“Sometimes life pulls two people apart so it can make them strong enough to be together.”

How many bad things need to be thrown at one person/couple? Rae and Aaron went through a lot, both individually and together. I’m glad they get their happily ever after. At this point, they deserve it. There were a few moments when I wanted to scream at them. However, in a span of 4 books, you can see growth in Aaron and Rae. There were a lot of ups and downs in their relationship, but they are attempting to use what they learned from their mistakes to make their relationship better than it was before. They’re permanently attached at the hips, making up for the lost time. Congrats to them, but I would like to see how they work on their problems more and how that would all play out. Rae and Aaron believe they will be together forever because they are made for each other. I feel like that is something that kids think, which I guess would make it realistic. But as I was reading, I kept thinking, ‘yeah, right.’ Maybe I’m being too cynical. So I think that’s more a personal problem than anything with the writing itself.

It only took four books to change my feelings about Aaron and Rae. I believe I disliked them because what I relate to the most are what I think are my negative traits. Then again, take that with a grain of salt because I am somewhat pessimistic.

Love Like This is the conclusion of Aaron and Rae’s story. However, this is not the last we will see of Rae and Aaron because they will appear in other books within the series. When one chapter ends, another one begins. I can’t wait to read about Joel and Sarah’s story in Together Like This, mainly because Joel and Miles were two characters I wanted to read about. I think either one would be interesting. So at least I have my wish. If this sounds negative, I don’t mean it to be because I did enjoy Love Like This.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 (4.5)

Summary:
Life-long best friends to lovers, Aaron and Rae take their relationship to new heights in this dreamy and nostalgic novel.

Review:
So freaking beautiful. Every time I read something by Bethany I know I am in a for something special.
Love like this is a melt in your mouth romance, it's that sweet and dreamy!
After much heart-ache and drama of the previous books in the series, this one saw the character growth and maturity of our young lovers as they learn how to manage life together and work on things together.

True to her other novels, Love like this featured strong family and friendship support as they navigated some intense emotions and situations. I've always admired the strong friendship groups, all the traditions, parties and get-togethers that this group have developed. Lake house, beach-house, bonfire adventures and more, these guys have the most dreamy friend-group holidays.

The Friends like this series has become so near and dear to my heart and I have truly enjoyed watching Rae and Aaron's story unfold. I will also be adding Aaron to the dream fictional boyfriend list because **SWOON** he's had a total maturity glow-up and I love knowing that these two are end-game.

Here's to more heart-melting, swoony romance by Bethany!

Keep safe and keep on dreaming,

Ellie

"But then I saw you. And it was like my heart knew it was finally home."

This was the perfect ending to an amazing series! Aaron and Rae are two of the best characters I have ever read about. The growth, not only together but as individuals, is beyond amazing. They worked through their struggles and issues and came out on top. Though I won't lie, this book is an emotional rollercoaster like the others.

I feel like I personally know these two and all their friends and I will also be rooting for them. Again, I loved the "side characters." Though to me, they are so much more than just side characters. They each gave so much to this book and the 3 before. I cannot wait to see them all again in another series.

Once again Bethany's writing helps you visualize this story like it is playing out right in front of you. She has the ability to make you feel all the emotions that her characters are feeling. She could literally write a phone book and I would read it!

I can honestly say I will miss saying "Aaron Freaking Cooper"

Thank you Bethany for this ARC and for letting me be a part of this amazing journey that was Aaron and Rae.

Love Like This is the perfect ending to the love story of Rae and Ace. Two souls who have been friends since childhood, become lovers then completely fall apart and finally become the soul-mates that everyone knew they were. Ms. Manco Smith did a wonderful job of delivering a story where the characters are relatable, the life lessons were real with a group of friends that anyone would want to have. I loved that Rae and Ace finally had their time to shine and that all the good karma happened. They have been through hell and back but deep down they were always meant to be. When communication is used and truths are told, happiness is something that happens naturally. Danger reared its ugly head and realizations were made which change the lives of everyone but especially Rae and Ace.

Love Like This was beautifully written and the descriptions that were used had me feeling like I was right there with everyone living and seeing what they felt and saw. Talk about the perfect romance, that wasn't always full of rainbows and roses but real-life situations but did end with a HEA. This book is part of a series that must be read in order and I highly recommend adding it to your TBR list.

Warning potential spoilers for previous books in the series.

Bethany did it again! She healed the hurt after Broken Like This - for Rae & Aaron but for me too.

Don’t get me wrong it’s not all plain sailing and there are still plenty of hurdles for Rae & Aaron to deal with in this book, including some unexpected twists. But this time they navigate the tough times together and use their past to help them grow - both as individuals and as a couple. They continue to be supported by their friendship group although they don’t feel quite as involved as in previous books. At one point I feared we were heading for one of my least favourite tropes (and Bethany teased us with the possibility!) but I’m glad things didn’t go down the predictable route.

I like the fact that Bethany doesn’t just give these characters something tough to deal with and then move them on from it with no consequences. Just like in real life PTSD and past events can rear their heads at any moment and make you feel wobbly to say the least. The acknowledgment that both Rae and Aaron have been through a lot and are still healing from their past is what makes this book spot on for me.

Sprinkled in are plenty of swoon worthy moments and of course some spice. I enjoyed getting little glimpses of Sarah & Joel’s story too. Whilst this is officially the last book focusing on Rae & Aaron’s romance, I am glad that their story is not over and that we will get to see a little bit more of them in the future even as the main characters change.

I will definitely be keeping my eye out for more from this group of friends!

I'm not sure I can even find the words. Finally the conclusion to Rae and Aaron's story. After the last book, I have been waiting for this one to find out how they figure their things out.

I love that some of the new lights on Rae's character are things that I myself struggle with and something that isn't touched on very often in books.

I fell in love with Aaron a little more (if that is possible) in Love Like This. His swooniness just gets better.

I cannot wait for the next couple to get their story. I'm sure it's going to be as amazing as this was.

My favorite line - "It's okay to not be okay...". Such a true statement.

Love Like This is a perfect conclusion to Aaron and Rae’s saga as they work through their own issues, mature into adults who know what they want and how to get it, all while working together.
It’s been fantastic seeing these two grow together, even when they were apart, so they could find out who they were and how they need to use those discoveries to move forward.

As always, their group of friends proves to be an amazing support system for them both. They go through a lot at young ages, and it was amazing to see them have the encouragement and strength needed to deal with what they went through.

The characters are engaging and relatable. Bethany’s writing is filled with emotion and had me tearing up at some places - and I don’t usually cry in books.

This is not a stand alone book, so if you haven’t read the first three, I highly recommend you start with book 1.

We’ve been following their amazing and definitely heart breaking journey through becoming adults, growing as individuals and falling in love with your best friends and it has been an epic journey for Aaron & Rae. Bethany has definitely kept us on our toes and reaching for the Kleenex box and this book is no exception. You will devour their love and commitment and passion for each other just like in the previous books. However, this one has a whole new element of their devotion and dedication. You have all waited long enough for this and you will not be disappointed in the least!! Happy Reading!!!

Finally the final installment in Rae and Aaron’s love story. It has been an emotional ride. Bethany knows how to write a beautiful story. There is a ton of emotion and a satisfying ending. The journey may have been bumpy but it was great to see the two of them mature and learn to communicate. So many high and low moments culminate in their HEA as we learn a little more about the secondary characters before they step into the limelight.

So many romances are what I call the Cinderella story, or the chase and none of the dealing with life. These four books do a great job of getting beyond the moment of I like you too. Its a great series.

Love Like This was the perfect conclusion to Aaron and Rae’s story.

Throughout these four books I absolutely fell in love with all of the characters and found myself relating to both Aaron and Rae in the way they acted for many things.

The ups and downs of a relationship were written perfectly and realistically and I found myself experiencing their journey of a relationship throughout these four books.

I loved all the growth the characters experienced and loved seeing how differently they handled things in this book than they had in the past.

Aaron and Rae will forever hold a place in my heart.

Omg finally. They got their lives right and ended up the way they should have… absolutely adore the relationship between Rae and Aaron. The realness of the struggles, working through it all and ending up the way they should. The end was just absolutely amazing. Made you feel like you were there as a bystander. Can not wait for Sarah and Joel’s story. (Even though I think these to will always be my favorites)

This is book 4 of Rae and Aaron's story, and it has been a rollercoaster of emotions, drama, and surprises. This book is swoony, steamy and so filled with romantic moments I couldn't help but fall even more in love with the storyline and characters. I can't wait to read this book and see if they finally get their happily ever after or at least happy for now ending.

We begin this book with Rae, and the author doesn't disappoint with a swoony, steamy beginning and a picturesque beach. This book, like the others, is filled with sage advice for the future for anyone.

Aaron is the perfect book boyfriend in this book, and yes, I'm swooning. The author doesn't disappoint, adding real drama and issues into the story and capturing the reader's emotions. This book is very steamy for a new adult romance fiction.

This book has the perfect ending to this rollercoaster romance; it is beautiful, complicated, and perfect. I'm excited about the hints the author gave at the back of this book.

Sigh, this was absolutely incredible. What a beautiful culmination of Aaron and Rae’s story! This is the fourth book in the series and after three books and years spanning their relationship, this one just warmed my cold dead heart. Again, a completely lovely and honest portrayal of young love and growing up. Bethany’s writing will make you giggle, cry, sigh, pine, and blush. I am so happy I found this series and cannot recommend it enough. Can’t WAIT for the next book!

After the story

You know how you get to the end of a book and the couple has worked everything out? How you always secretly wish for what happens next? That is this book. We get the love story of a lifetime while leaving it open for when the friends fall in love. I am in so deep with this world and these characters I absolutely loved getting see the way Rae and Aaron have grown and become the couple they were always meant to be!

Absolutely amazing! Every single page of this book had so many emotions in it. I absolutely loved how the story was told and everything that happened in this book. I felt every emotion with the characters, got upset in parts, teared up during some parts, and laughed so hard. Bethany has had me hooked with each of these books in this series and every single one of them got better as they went and I was sure it was possible to beat the book before and she managed to top each one.
